Our Fascination With Evil…

…and things that go bump in the night.

What is it about the paranormal that fascinates us, especially in romance? I know given the choice between a contemporary romance or something that crosses the line that defines reality, I go for the twilight zone story. And I'm not just talking about vampires or werewolves, but anything that isn't quite human like angels, demons and tortured souls walking the earth looking for redemption. Sigh. Even just saying that makes it sound so hot.

For me, I think ...

Television Shows

On Sunday night, my husband and I waited with giddy anticipation, the Survivor finale, we wanted to see what Russel would do and laughed when he lost again. When it comes to Survivor people either love it passionately and can discuss for hours on end the different moves and characters that make this show so damn good. And then there are those who laugh at those of us who love it. I know about this reaction because it's what I do when I hear people actually watch the Bachelor or Biggest...

The Aliens are coming!!!

Well, one alien at least, and I for one wouldn't kick him out of bed–just don't tell my husband!

I am very excited about my upcoming release Alien Mate, available from my publisher Amira Press on May 14th.

Have you ever thought about what you would do if an alien–with abs you could bounce quarters off of–suddenly appeared to you and wanted to take you as his mate? Would you fight him, even though he makes your panties wet or would you swoon in his arms and say "Probe me, please!"

Diana, our...

Alphas Make The Best Husbands

Every now and then my alpha husband does something totally unexpected and thoughtful, reminding me of just how lucky I am to have him. He came home from work yesterday and told me he had an early mother's day present for me– a Sony Reader! I was a little blown away because those suckers are pricey. His reasoning for buying it? "You do so much for us, I thought you deserved something special." I know—aaaaah. And this from an alpha male too. I would have loved to have seen him in Best Buy...

Somebody Liked It

On  a whim, a little while back, I tried my hand at writing something that was pure erotica. I used all kinds of big dirty words, threw in some kink and came up with a a shorty story about a secretary and her boss.  Now before you think this is some story about a male in a position of power asserting his dominance over his female underling, let me assure you that the secretary in this tale is the one calling the shots.

My Secretary, My Mistress has been picked up by Cobblestone Press and I...

Madonna is the best

I admit it, Glee is another one of my guilty pleasures and last nights episode featuring Madonna tunes totally rocked. I have been a Madonna fan since she started her singing career–a long, long time ago lol. School dances rocked when one her tunes came on–'Crazy For You' being the ultimate slow dance song. I even used to own the album for 'Like A Virgin' with Madonna decked out in lace and pouffy hair.  Then CD's came along, and well, let's just say I've owned quite a few of those too.

One...

My New Banner

If you came through my site on the homepage and are a repeat visitor, you probably noticed my nice new banner. In a stroke of fabulous luck, I responded to a FaceBook contest by Tricia Picky Schmitt. If I became the first of two fans for her new FaceBook Fan page, I woud win a free graphic. Well low and behold, I became her fan and I WON!

The result? The gorgeous banner I now sport at the top of all my pages on my site. And if I can figure it out, soon across the top of my blog too.

What do...

RPG's rock!

RPG stand role play games for those who are wondering. And I am addicted to them.

My current RPG –aka obsession– is the new Evony II. It's a gaming application that you can access directly at evony.com or via facebook. I played Evony I for about 7 months before I finally had to give it up. because it was too time consuming what with my gigantic army's feedings needs–those who farmed in this game know what I mean. Yet less than 2 weeks later I'm at it again with number 2 after seeing an ad for ...
