In tearful display, Jihadist in Syria: "We are not here because we love this world, but because we want to chop [our enemies'] heads off."

Another misunderstander -- it is one of the great psychological conundrums of worldwide proportion in our time, I tell ya. Millions of Muslims misunderstanding Islam in exactly the same way by reading the exact same Islamic teaching and texts. (/sarc tag off)

Obama must understand it -- he is supporting these savages in Syria.

In Tearful Display, Saudi Jihadi Sheikh Fighting In Syria Prays For Martyrdom And Slaughter; We Will Conquer Syria, Then Palestine MEMRI

In a video address, jihadi leader Sheikh Saqr Al-Jihad called to commit martyrdom and to be placed in Paradise "along with the Prophet Muhammad... Sheikh Osama [bin Laden], and Sheikh Abdullah Azzam." "Oh, how we miss them," wailed the sheikh, who, wielding a dagger, said: "We are not here because we love this world, but because we want to chop [our enemies'] heads off."

Following are excerpts from the video: Click here to view this clip on MEMRI TV

Saqr Al-Jihad: "What were things like when the Prophet Muhammad left Mecca for Medina? Did he have a gun? Did he have an AK-47? Did he have a knife? By Allah, he did not. He said: 'Abu Bakr, fear not, there are only two of us, but Allah is with us.' Allah bestowed calm upon him. This is a great example of devotion and the placing of one's trust in Allah. 'If you support Allah, Allah will support you.'

"By Allah, this knife, this AK-47, tanks, and all types of weapons – nothing comes out of their barrels unless it is ordained by..."

Crowd: "Allah!" [...]

Saqr Al-Jihad: "We will conquer Syria and then Palestine, Allah willing. Allah willing, this knife... This gun will shoot at the heads of the Jews, and at the Alawites before them." [...]

"Purify yourselves, and perhaps Allah will place us in Paradise, along with the Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr, Othman, Ali, and Sheikh Osama, and Sheikh Abdullah Azzam. By Allah, how we miss them. By Allah, how much we cry. But our sins have prevented us from meeting them. May Allah hasten our martyrdom."

Pamela Geller, WND Column: Banned from Britain – for supporting Israel

More on the vicious motivations behind the ban in Britain in my column for WND this week:

Banned from Britain – for supporting Israel

Exclusive: Pamela Geller reveals U.K. getting many of its 'facts' from Wikipedia

At last, the whole truth has come to light. In our court battle to overturn Britain’s ban on our entering the country, Robert Spencer and I have received a new cache of documents that reveal a principal reason why we were banned from the country was because we are pro-Israel.

An official (name redacted) in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office wrote in a May 7 letter: “We do have concerns with some of the reasoning in the sub,” that is, the “subject profiles” that had been prepared on Spencer and me, “particularly citing pro-Israeli views.” The official explained that “pro-Israeli views (and also support for waterboarding) apply to a large number of Americans, including former presidents. If, for instance, Geller and Spencer were to request details of their exclusion under FOI/DPA or other mechanism, that being pro-Israeli is cited as a reason may be problematic and they could argue publically that their exclusion is on the basis of their support for Israel.”

Again: Muslim Students' Nazi Salutes at Auschwitz

Auschwitz4 Auschwitz: What remained from the victims: tons of clothes and shoes... (1945)

Vicious, ugly and full of hate. And the world looks away rather than confront the ideology that fuels genocide, ethnic cleansing, oppression and subjugation.

"Again: Turkish Students Arrested for Nazi Salutes at Auschwitz," By Ari Soffer Israel News, December 9, 2013

Two Turkish tourists could face up to two years in prison for giving Nazi salutes outside the site of the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp in Poland.

The Turkish nationals - who according to Turkey's Zaman news site are a man and woman, both aged 22 - are apparently studying history at Budapest university in neighboring Hungary.

Auschwitz

They reportedly took pictures of each other making the offensive gestures underneath the infamous "Arbeit macht frei" ("Work makes you free") sign, which stands at the entrance to the former death camp. The sign was one of the first - and for many, the last - things which the camp's estimated 1.1 million victims, approximately 90% of whom were Jewish, saw upon arrival, after being offloaded from crowded cattle carts.

The pair will likely face charges for publicly promoting Nazi symbols in public, which is a criminal offense in Poland.

Rising anti-Semitism

This is not the first time Turkish students have been arrested for displays of fascism at the site of a former Polish concentration camp.

In a similar incident in October, two Turkish university students were arrested at the site of the Majdanik death camp after giving Nazi salutes to a group of Israeli students and shouting "Heil Hitler".

The two protested their innocence at the time, saying they had only meant the gestures "as a joke".

This latest incident once more shines a spotlight on growing anti-Semitism in Turkey, a phenomenon which has forced many young Turkish Jews to leave the country and which many analysts blame on the ruling Islamist AKP party, whose own leading officials have actively engaged in anti-Semitic rhetoric.

In July, Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister accused "Diaspora Jewry" of orchestrating the "Gezi Park" anti-government protests. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has a long history of anti-Semitic and racist remarks, including collectively comparing Jews to "Nazis" during his term as the mayor of Istanbul.

And in May, a shocking documentary revealed alarming levels of anti-Semitism among Turkish immigrant youths in Holland, where growing anti-Semitism has been blamed largely on the country's growing Muslim population.

Israel Defense Minister Ya’alon: Iran is building terror infrastructure to strike US

As Obama weakens the US and capitulates to the world's leading state sponsor of terror, the nation becomes increasingly vulnerable.

Iran, said Yaalon, was pulling out all stops in order to export its Shi'ite Islamic revolution to the West, preparing communities of Shi'ite Muslims for the day they must help Iran achieve its goals.

"Yaalon: Iran Using Diplomatic Mail, Drug Routes to Attack U.S.," By David Lev and Arutz Sheva Staff, December 9, 2013  (thanks to Avi)

Iran is using diplomatic pouches and drug-running routes to export its Islamic revolution to the West - especially to the U.S.

Moshe Yaalon speaks to Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina
Moshe Yaalon speaks to Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina Ariel Hermony

Iran is using diplomatic pouches to smuggle weapons into and out of the country, Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said Monday. “The Iranians are taking advantage of diplomatic mail in order to transfer these items,” Yaalon told Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina, who is visiting Israel. “They are taking advantage of the drug smuggling routes from South America into the United States in order to move weapons there,” he said.

Iran, said Yaalon, was pulling out all stops in order to export its Shi'ite Islamic revolution to the West, preparing communities of Shi'ite Muslims for the day they must help Iran achieve its goals.

“They are building a terror infrastructure in South America to attack Jews and Israeli interests,” he said, “but they are also using these bases that they have built in places like Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Venezuela to act against the United States.”

It was via this network, he said, that the Iranians were able to smuggle weapons in the U.S. to attempt an attack on the Saudi embassy in Washington, which was foiled only at the last minute.

“All this shows the Islamic Republic's ability and plans – their desire for world hegemony, using terror to achieve it,” Yaalon said. “Their terror network worldwide shows their ambition. According to their ideology, they are required to export the Shi'ite revolution. They are willing to invest and sacrifice for this. They have been involved in every dispute here in the Middle East, and support anyone who fights against Israel or the West.”

Israel, he told Molina, was carefully watching Iran's latest moves in developing its nuclear capacity. “We have been damaged by their activities in Argentina, Bulgaria, and India,” Yaalon said, listing the locations of several attacks against Israelis and Jews in recent years. “All Iranian embassies are used as terror bases,” he added.

The presence of Iranian-linked terrorist networks in Southern and Central America is a longstanding issue, most notably in the ongoing controversy over the involvement of Iran in the deadly bombing of the Argentine Jewish Charities Federation in 1994.

Lebanon's Hezbollah is known to have a particularly strong presence in the region, and is said to be heavily involved in the local drug trade as part of the group's fundraising efforts.

In September, the son of the president of Suriname was arrested on suspicion of providing material support to the Shia terrorist group.

Dino Bouterse was filmed telling undercover agents posing as Hezbollah operatives that he was willing to help them set up a base in the Central American country, as well as to provide them with passports and advanced weaponry, including surface-to-air missiles, as part of preparations to attack the US and Holland.

Two British Muslims Expected to Plead Guilty to islamic Terror Charges in US Court

This is not about nationality, borders, geography. It's the ideology,. Period.  The country of origin is as relevant as the color of their socks.

"Two Britons expected to plead guilty to terror charges in U.S. court," By , Dec 10, 2013 (thank to Mark)

(Reuters) - Two Britons facing trial in the United States are expected to plead guilty in court on Tuesday to charges of supporting militant groups, including al Qaeda, by operating websites promoting jihad.

The men, Babar Ahmad and Syed Talha Ahsan, faced trial on charges that included providing material support to terrorists and conspiracy to injure the property of a foreign government. The two, U.S. prosecutors said, ran a website that raised funds for Muslim militants in Afghanistan and Chechnya.

Ahmad and Ahsan were extradited to the United States from Britain last year and entered not guilty pleas to all charges in U.S. district court in Connecticut.

They are due in court in New Haven for change-of-plea hearings on Tuesday, court records show.

Ahmad also was charged with a count of money laundering.

He faces the possibility of up to 30 years in prison, while Ahsan faces up to 15 years. Each could be fined up to $500,000.

They were among five men extradited to the United States from Britain last year to face terrorism-related charges. That group also included one-eyed radical Islamist cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri on charges related to a 1998 hostage-taking in Yemen.

Report: "New, Moderate" Iran Has Executed 529 People in 2013

Screen Shot 2013-12-10 at 10.22.34 AM

Obama's sanction of the new moderates can mean only one thing: more oppression, more bloodshed, more executions.

The number of executions have significantly spiked since Rouhani took office, leading some to argue that this clashes with his image as a moderate reformer.

[...]Many of those executed by Iran, mainly by hanging, were accused of being a “Moharebeh,” or one who is designated as “waging war against God” under Islamic law.

They're slaughtering people? So what?  Take a page from Obama, if they smile, it's progress!

Obama say, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam."

Report: Iran Has Executed 529 People in 2013," By Adam Kredo,  The Washington Free Beacon, December 9, 2013

More than 300 killed since ‘moderate’ Rouhani took office

Iran has executed 529 people this year, including more 300 since President Hassan Rouhani assumed office in August, according to a tally compiled by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC).

The number of executions have significantly spiked since Rouhani took office, leading some to argue that this clashes with his image as a moderate reformer.

Iran now has the dubious honor of being the global leader per capita in executions, according to the IHRDC.

The sharp spike in killing has prompted criticism from some observers who say that the United States and other Western nations are ignoring Tehran’s massive human rights infractions in order to facilitate Iran’s approval of a final nuclear accord.

“Under the shadow of negotiations, however, Iran’s appalling human rights situation has hardly changed,” Iranian activists Payam Akhavan and Shirin Ebadi wrote in a recent Washington Post op-ed.

Executions have actually increased as Tehran engages in talks with the West, according to Akhavan and Ebadi.

Many of those executed by Iran, mainly by hanging, were accused of being a “Moharebeh,” or one who is designated as “waging war against God” under Islamic law.

Many others were hung in secrecy and after being convicted of crimes during closed trials that human rights observers classified as unfair and lacking in international standards.

However, others maintain that the spike is a result of internal divisions and power struggles between Iran’s so-called moderate wing and its more hardline judiciary.

The execution figures are compiled from both official and unofficial reports in the Iranian media and elsewhere. The Iranian government has officially acknowledged at least 400 executions in 2013.

The White House admits that human rights issues are not being discussed during the nuclear negotiations.

“As we have consistently made clear, the P5+1 negotiations with Iran have focused exclusively on the nuclear issue,” a senior Obama administration official told the Washington Free Beacon. “It is important to note that progress on the nuclear issue does not change our resolve in pushing back against Iranian support for terrorism, threats against our friends and partners, and violations of human rights.”

Iranian officials and others have said that the United States unsuccessfully attempted to broach human rights and other issues during the talks.

“The Americans asked to open other files during the nuclear negotiation, but the Iranians insisted on limiting the debate,” Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was quoted as saying earlier this month.

An Iranian official made similar claims to al-Monitor.

“Iran knows what it wants, and that’s what we are after,” an anonymous Iranian official was quoted as saying.

“The Syrian crisis wasn’t at the heart of the negotiations, but it was discussed thoroughly during side talks,” the source reportedly said. “Moreover, there was an American request that we discuss possible options whenever the nuclear deal is sealed, and that’s why some regional powers asked the French to put their spanners [wrench] into the talks, and here we are.”

Iran has long been a global leader in executions and political imprisonment.

Many of those executed are drug dealers and traffickers who have been arrested and imprisoned on charges that do not adhere to international judicial standards.

Most of these Iranian drug convicts are killed publicly, often by hanging from a crane.

Another four political prisoners from the ethnic minority Ahwazi Arab population were executed under questionable circumstances last week after facing torture, imprisonment, and secret trials that activists criticized as unfair.

Former Pentagon adviser Michael Rubin said that Iran’s moderate outreach is often paired with a domestic crackdown.

“It’s a common pattern: Iran always couples external outreach with increasing repression at home,” said Rubin, author of Dancing with the Devil: The Perils of Engaging Rogue Regimes.

“Basically, the ayatollahs are telling their people: ‘Make no mistake. Our moderation is for external consumption only. And to make sure you understand that, we are going to ramp up executions,’” Rubin said.

Islamophobic Cuisine: Muslim refugees protest the food the charitable Norway citizens are providing them, it's "racism"

More food racism...Yesterday it was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, today Norwegian food.

"Muslim refugees complaining about the food the charitable Norway citizens are providing for them,"  By  Clifford Thies, Libertarian Republican, December 10, 2013 (thanks to Mark)

You might think that the Muslims who have been evacuated from war-torn Syria would appreciate the kindness of the people of Norway. Think again. In the small Norwegian town of Hønefoss, a group of about twenty-five of them, protested their food. It's poison and they're not getting enough.

"We’re fleeing the war, not the food" one protester is quoted at the Norwegian news site fyret.nu

They want their Middle Eastern food, not what the Norwegians eat. They march through the town with "Hunger Strike" scribbled on their blue cafeteria trays, accusing the Norwegians of racism.

Two Spanish journalists kidnapped by jihadist group in Syria

Screen Shot 2013-12-10 at 9.34.08 AMPhotos of El Mundo correspondent Javier Espinosa (left) and freelance photographer Ricardo Garcia Vilanova (El Mundo/Family Handout/AFP)

Obama-backed jihadists have been  targeting journalists for abduction for some time.

Behind a veil of secrecy, at least 30 journalists have been kidnapped or have disappeared in Syria -- held and threatened with death by extremists or taken captive by gangs seeking ransom.

The widespread seizure of journalists is unprecedented, and has been largely unreported by news organizations in the hope that keeping the kidnappings out of public view may help to negotiate the captives' release.

Obama's respect for freedom of the press is called into question daily -- the lack of access, the prosecution of journalists who question him,  the seizure of their research, so it is no surprise that not only has said nothing and done nothing about this epidemic, but his administration has kept the targeting of journalists by jihadists under a veil of secrecy.

But no worries. The Obama administration brags about their record of standing up for a free press (and religious minorities) across the world despite his abysmal record. The American enemedia advances these insulting lies  as they continue to act as his PR arm and propaganda organ. Screen Shot 2013-12-10 at 9.44.42 AM

Two Spanish journalists held by Qaeda-linked group in Syria (AFP)– December 11, 2013

Beirut — A radical group linked to Al-Qaeda kidnapped two Spanish journalists reporting in Syria in September and is holding them captive, El Mundo newspaper reported on Tuesday.

El Mundo correspondent Javier Espinosa and Ricardo Garcia Vilanova, a freelance photographer, were seized on September 16 in Raqa province, the Spanish daily said on its website.

In an emotional press conference in Beirut, hours after El Mundo announced the kidnapping, Espinosa's wife urged the journalists' captors to free them.

El Mundo said the pair was kidnapped at a checkpoint near the Turkish border as they tried to leave Syria at the end of a two-week reporting mission.

They were taken along with four members of the Free Syrian Army, the main western-backed rebel group fighting against President Bashar al-Assad, who were supposed to protect them, the newspaper said. The four Syrians were later released.

The newspaper identified the captors as members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), a jihadist faction in Syria with roots in Al-Qaeda's Iraqi affiliate

El Mundo said it had kept the kidnapping quiet until now while it held indirect communications with the captors, who have still not asked for anything in return for their captives.

In Beirut, Espinosa's wife Monica Prieto said the pair had "travelled a dozen times to Syria to document war crimes, risking their lives, and becoming brothers with the Syrians in their fear, misery and humanitarian crisis."

"They have done so because we believe the Syrian people need our work, and that we must live up to our responsibility," said Prieto, wearing a veil.

"But you, as Syrians, also have a responsibility towards all those, Arabs and Westerners, who have defended you," she added.

"Javier and Ricardo are not your enemy. Please, honour the revolution they protected, and set them free."

Family friend and fellow journalist Ghaith Abdul-Ahad told reporters the most recent information about the missing pair was "about a month ago, when we heard reports they were alive".

"But we have no direct communication with the kidnappers," despite three months of attempts, Abdul-Ahad said.

Espinosa has been a Middle East correspondent for El Mundo since 2002, based in Beirut.

Like Vilanova, he has covered some of the most dangerous points in the Syrian conflict, including the siege of Homs in February 2012, which killed some 700 people including US reporter Marie Colvin and French photographer Remi Ochlik.

Vilanova has worked for media such as the New York Times, the Washington Post and Agence France-Presse, for whom he has contributed reports from Libya and Syria.

"Espinosa and Vilanova share the spirit of sacrifice necessary to cover conflicts, where difficulties and sometimes suffering are a challenge," El Mundo wrote on Tuesday.

Media rights group Reporters Without Borders ranks Syria as the most dangerous country in the world for journalists.

Twenty-five journalists have been killed there since the start of the conflict in early 2011, and a similar number are missing or detained, it estimated last month.

Among the missing is another AFP contributor, US freelancer James Foley. He was seized by armed men in the northern Syrian province of Idlib on November 22 last year, according to witnesses.

Another Spanish journalist was kidnapped in Syria in early September.

Marc Marginedas, a correspondent for the Catalan daily El Periodico, has been "in the hands of an insurgent group" since September 4, the newspaper announced on September 23.

"Nobody makes money, fame or recognition from this kind of job," Vilanova told AFP in August 2012. "But it is our passion, even if it may end badly."

Islamic Sudan Revokes Citizenship of Christian, Jails Him for Failing to Leave Country

More muscular inter-faith dialogue ....

A Christian has been jailed in Khartoum, Sudan for declining to leave the country after authorities revoked his Sudanese citizenship, sources said. (Morning Star News)

Sudan Revokes Citizenship of Christian, Jails Him for Failing to Leave Country Deacon of Eritrean descent targeted for Christian activities.By Our Sudan CorrespondentSudan flag (The<br /> World Factbook) JUBA, South Sudan, December 9, 2013 (Morning Star News) – A Christian has been jailed in Khartoum, Sudan for declining to leave the country after authorities revoked his Sudanese citizenship, sources said.

Early this year National Security and Intelligence Services (NISS) personnel had required Zawengel Abraham Mikael, a 41-year-old deacon of Eritrean descent, to frequently report to their offices in Khartoum because of his activities at a church and at a Christian-run, international school where he worked as an administrator, the sources said.

NISS personnel told Mikael in May that President Omar el-Bashir had revoked his Sudanese citizenship and ordered him out of the country. When Mikael asked the NISS personnel to provide a copy of the order, initially they refused but later showed him one, the sources said.

With neither Eritrean nor Sudanese citizenship, Mikael had applied to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Khartoum for relocation to another country as a religious refugee; he was awaiting a decision when NISS agents jailed him on Oct. 26, the sources said.

“He has been transferred to Kober Prison in Khartoum North without charges,” said one source. “Authorities have denied him visits, and he is not allowed to talk to his family members. He cannot see his newly born baby because he is in custody.”

His Sudanese wife was allowed to visit him only once, on Nov. 29, the sources said.

Arriving with his family to Sudan as a child, Mikael had obtained Sudanese citizenship in 1991, said the sources, who requested anonymity due to security concerns. His arrest came in part in retaliation for applying for asylum with the UNHCR, they said, adding that Mikael told NISS personnel, “Where should I go?” and, “Sudan is my country.”

“He told them that he had nowhere to go because he had a Sudanese citizenship, and had not any citizenship of another country, and his wife is a Sudanese,” a source said.

Following the secession of South Sudan in July 2011, Sudan since 2012 has expelled foreign Christians, bulldozed church buildings on the pretext that they belonged to South Sudanese and arrested church leaders. Many foreign Christians have either left or been deported.

NISS personnel had initially required Mikael to report to them earlier this year because of his church activities and his work as an administrator at Nile Valley Academy. Foreign teachers at the school have either left the country or been expelled, and the Sudanese parents of its pupils are said to have bought the institution and terminated its Christian segment of content.

A source said Mikael has been persecuted for his faith because he is vulnerable as a foreigner in a country that Bashir has vowed will become more Arabic and Islamic.

“We have done our best by asking the authorities concerned, but there was nothing we can do because we were told that it was a presidential decree,” the source said.

Another source added, “The important thing for us is to have a greater number of Christians to pray for Zawengel.”

In a report issued in April, Christian Solidarity Worldwide noted an increase in arrests, detentions and deportations of Christians since December 2012. The organization also reported that systematic targeting of Nuba and other ethnic groups suggests the resurgence of an official policy of “Islamization and Arabization.”

Due to its treatment of Christians and other human rights violations, Sudan has been designated a Country of Particular Concern by the U.S. State Department since 1999, and in April the U.S. Committee on International Religious Freedom recommended the country remain on the list this year.
