How long before Hamas-CAIR starts crying that this devout Muslim was "entrapped"? How many more plots like this one do there have to be before our governing officials start calling upon Muslims in the U.S. to reform and expunge the quran of its calls to violence and hatred?

An FBI sting has led to the arrest of a Wichita, Kan. man who thought he was about to die in a suicide car bombing that targeted a terminal at the city's Mid-Continent Airport.

Terry Lee Loewen, 58, worked at the airport as an avionics technician. This gave him access to airport grounds. He was arrested before dawn Friday after he tried to open a security gate and get on the tarmac, the Kansas City Star reports.

According to a three-count complaint, Loewen discussed his view of faith as a Muslim. That included expressing "his desire to engage in violent jihad on behalf of al Qaeda" during an online conversation with someone whom, unbeknownst to him, was an FBI employee.

"I don't understand how you can read the Qur'an and the sunnah of the Prophet (saw) and not understand that jihad and the implementation of Sharia is absolutely demanded of all the Muslim Ummah," Loewen allegedly wrote Aug. 5. "I feel so guilt-ridden sometimes for knowing what's required of me but yet doing little or nothing to make it happen. I love my Muslim brothers and sisters, whether they agree with me or not, it's just hard to deal with the denial that some of them appear to be going through."

Osama bin Laden and American-born al-Qaida cleric Anwar al-Awlaki "are a great inspiration to me, but I must be willing to give up everything (like they did) to truly feel like a (sic) obedient slave of Allah (swt)," he wrote a few days later.

Later that month, he asked for help finding "someone who is active in jihad and could use an occasional influx of 'help' ... I just hate the kaffar government and those who are following it to the Hellfire, and the sooner it and its followers get there, the better."

Loewen was trying to drive a van packed with explosives to a terminal as part of a plan he spent months developing, a Department of Justice statement says. He "talked about his commitment to trigger the device and martyr himself."

The explosives were rendered inert by the FBI and the public was never in danger. Agents were drawn to Loewen early last summer after he made statements about jihad. He is with trying to use a weapon of mass destruction, and attempting to provide material support to al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Many national Islamist groups have criticized similar sting operations, arguing the FBI is manufacturing a terrorist threat where it might not exist. If Loewen's correspondence in the complaint proves accurate, however, he was a man with the motivation and access to pull off a horrific attack. Left alone, he might have found ways to make his own bomb.

At one point, Loewen acknowledged not knowing whether he could trust his contact. But it wasn't enough to discourage him from pursuing an attack. "my greatest fear is not being able to complete an operation because I was set up," he wrote. "I hate this government so much for what they have done to our brothers and sisters, that to spent (sic) the rest of my life in prison without having taken a good slice out of the serpents head is unacceptable to me."

If convicted, Loewen could face life in prison.

Feds Disrupt Jihad Homicide Bomb Plot at Wichita Airport

Loewen was clearly a convert to Islam. This story goes out of its way to tell us that he is "white." His skin color is no more important to this jihad murder plot than the color of his socks. What motivated Loewen was Islam's doctrine of jihad. But looking at that makes you a racistislamophobicantimuslimbigot, according to the enemedia and the Obama administration.

A 58-year-old airport worker was charged Friday with allegedly planning a suicide bombing at a passenger terminal at the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport in Kansas.

The suspect, Terry Lee Loewen, an avionics technician who lives in Wichita, was arrested earlier in the day as he attempted to use his security pass to drive a vehicle that he thought contained explosives onto the tarmac at the airport, law enforcement officials said at a news conference in Wichita. In fact, the car contained only dummy explosives.

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said Loewen spent months developing a plan to drive a carload of explosives to the airport terminal and that he was determined to trigger the bomb himself and die in the blast.

Loewen, who is white, became radicalized after reading extremist Islamic material on the Internet, Grissom said.

A criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Wichita charges Loewen with one count of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, one count of attempting to damage property by means of an explosive and one count of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. He was scheduled to be arraigned at 3 p.m. local time.

If convicted on all counts, he faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Investigators tell NBC News that Loewen has been under scrutiny since August, when he began having an online exchange with someone he thought was a like-minded individual but who turned out to be an FBI employee. 

"Let me preface the bottom line by saying I have become 'radicalized' in the strongest sense of the word, and I don't feel Allah wants me any other way," he said in one message, according to the complaint.

At the news conference, Grissom and Michael Kaste, special agent in charge of the FBI office in Kansas City, stressed that the suspect was under constant surveillance and at no time was the public in danger.

Officials say no one else was involved in the plot.

Wichita Mid-Continent Airport, about 7 miles west of downtown Wichita, is the largest and busiest airport in Kansas.

The former U.S. embassy in Iran has been turned in an anti-American museum, CBS reported Friday.

The embassy, famously seized in the Iranian Revolution of 1979, is now known by hardliners as the “nest of spies.” A mural lining the staircase shows the shows the hardliners’ “deep-seated paranoia and animosity towards America,” said CBS correspondent Elizabeth Palmer.

But while hardliners still view the Unite [sic] States as their main enemy, Palmer says, millions want to move past the “clumsy anti-Americanism for a more constructive future.”

A planned march by Muslims against the sale and consumption of alcohol in the hip heart of east London has drawn "overwhelming support" from around the country, organisers have claimed.

Protesters intend to protest on Friday in Brick Lane, Tower Hamlets, by targeting shops selling alcohol in a street famous for its trendy bars and curry restaurants.

The demonstrators said that selling booze was un-Islamic and caused social problems.

But critics fear that the event by the Shariah Project will be yet another source of division in the borough.

In September, Tower Hamlets witnessed the anti-Muslim English Defence League trying to march against Islam.

For the mainstream media, you're "anti-Muslim" if you're against jihad terror and Sharia, which is like saying that foes of the Nazis were "anti-German."

Last week, three men who were part of a bogus "Muslim patrol" were jailed for threatening and beating up people they claimed had breached strict Islamic rules on alcohol and dress.

Abu Rumaysah, spokesman for the Waltham Forest-based Shariah Project, claimed that groups of Muslims would come from as far away as the Midlands to take part in the demonstration.

He forecast a turnout of "hundreds" instead of fewer than the 50 first expected. Police would be surprised at the scale of the turnout, he predicted.

Rumaysah, 30, told IBTimes UK: "We've had an overwhelming response from people supporting us from all over the country. Lots of them say they are coming and we will have groups from Luton, Birmingham, Derby and Leicester. There's also a big Muslim community in Tower Hamlets, so there should be a good turnout."

He insisted it would be a peaceful protest and rejected accusations that it could create disharmony.

Shariah the solution

"It's not fair to say this will cause division," said Rumaysah. "The most damaging thing is the alcohol. If you go in to the hospitals you can see the damage it does. This is a rally which is happening because we see the shariah in the UK as the solution for many of the fundamental problems the community faces.

"We are not going to be fighting anybody. But it would not stop us from protesting peacefully if some people did oppose us."...

Religious nature of conflict grows more apparent, as ex-Séléka rebels and anti-Balaka clash

Three pastors were among those killed in the recent interfaith violence in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic.

Pastors Raymond Doui, 46, Elisha Zama, 33, and Jean-Louis Makamba, 48, were killed on Dec. 5 as members of the disbanded Séléka rebel forces went on a rampage following an offensive by Christian-dominated anti-Balaka militias.

Doui, pastor of the Community of Independent Baptist Churches, died at his house in the northern suburb of Fondo. He leaves behind a wife and 11 children. Zama, of the Evangelical Church of the Brethren, was among those killed as ex-Séléka forces raided a hospital. He leaves a wife and five children. Makamba, pastor of the ELIM Church in the Begoua North area, was killed alongside one of his sons by former members of Séléka, which had entered the church compound. His wife and nine surviving children have fled, after hearing that the rebels were after them.

“In spite of the arrival of the French and the beginning of the disarmament, the killings continue. The war has become purely religious. Anti-Balaka defensive forces attacked the ex-Seleka and other Muslims first. This invited terrible retaliation against the Christians. The ex-Seleka and Muslim men women and children armed with fire arms and machetes went from house to house killing Christians regardless of their age. The streets of Bangui are littered with corpses. The Red Cross buried hundreds of bodies in mass graves.

“Most people are hiding indoors. Some have fled into the bush and about 20,000 Christians fled to the church of Pastor Nicolas Guerékoyamé, the president of the Evangelical Alliance, because he is one of the religious leaders who always denounced the abuses of the ex-Seleka”.

The Central African Republic has been beset by violence since March, when a coalition of rebel groups, led by Michel Djotodia under the Séléka banner, drove out President Francois Bozizé.

Djotodia took control of a transitional government, but lost control of Séléka soldiers. He disbanded Séléka in September, but its members continued to loot, rape and murder Christians in particular. Since September, the mostly Christian and Animist local population have formed self-defence groups named anti-Balaka, which have attacked Muslims, in turn inviting brutal reprisals from ex-Séléka members and raising fears of inter-faith genocide.

On Dec. 5, the UN Security Council authorised the expansion of the African and French military forces currently attempting to maintain security in the CAR, and started planning for the possible conversion of those forces to a UN-managed peacekeeping operation.

Local imam chaplain says Florida hospital discriminating against him

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Only Channel 9 spoke to local imam who said he's the target of discrimination at a central Florida hospital.

Imam Abu Farah said he wants to volunteer as a chaplain at Osceola Regional Medical Center but claims he's become a victim of discrimination instead, so he's planning to sue the hospital.

Farah said he takes great pride in his work as a chaplain at Florida Hospital, where he says he was welcomed with open arms.

"I was immediately given an application, filled it, and I was given an ID card. Done," he said.

But he said it's been just the opposite at Osceola Regional.

Farah is the head of a local Islamic center and has been trying to volunteer as a chaplain at the hospital for more than a year, but said he was told they didn't have a program, even though their website states a chaplain is always on call.

"I was lost for words," he said. "I did not understand."

Farah also claims the hospital has ignored his repeated requests for more information.

Farah's group, the American-Muslim Youth Leadership Council, held a meeting with dozens of law enforcement and community leaders to discuss ways they can work together. He said Osceola Regional was invited, but no one from the hospital showed up, so he wanted to get his message to them through Channel 9.

"Maybe you can help me find an answer to this question; Why are we not allowed to offer spiritual care to American-Muslim patients?" Farah asked.

Farah said he eventually heard from someone who runs the chaplaincy program at the hospital. He told Channel 9 they told him in order to qualify for the program that he'd be required to attend Bible study classes to become qualified.

The hospital has yet to respond to the allegations.

“Infidels,” or non-Muslims, or the wrong kinds of Muslims (Alawites and Shia for example) are often seen as the natural recipients of Islamic violence, or jihad, as prescribed by Islamic law, the Sharia.

Few, however, are aware exactly how Sharia can cause individual Muslims to do violence upon themselves.

Last week, December 5, Arabic news website Masrawy published a full report and interview with Ali Afifi, an Egyptian man who did just that—violently cut off both his hands to punish himself for, and prevent himself from, stealing, “according to Islamic Sharia.”  A summary of the report follows:

Four years ago, in Elgharbeya province, Egypt, 28-year-old Ali Afifi placed his left hand on the train tracks to be amputated by the wheels of the train without using any anesthetics.

Upon reviving, he went to the townspeople showing the stump of his bloodied arm while yelling at the top of his lungs, “People, I was a thief, and praise Allah, he has forgiven me.”  He repeated this multiple times, while passersby looked shocked.

Normative Islamic law calls for the amputation of the hands of thieves, per Koran 5:38.

Ali began his career as a thief at a very young age; however, one day he decided to stop being a thief and to find honest work. Despite his best efforts, the harder he tried to quit stealing the more intense was the comeback. He was unable to overcome “the devil’s whisperings” in his ears.

According to Ali: “I started at a young age. In first grade I stole other students’ pens and sandwiches. When I grew up, I began to steal cell phones, gold, and money. I performed over one hundred robberies and was arrested multiple times, but I was a smart thief, always able to avoid making the charges stick.”

Ali’s dad works as a Muezzin at one of the mosques and tried many times to dissuade him from being a thief, which caused problems between them. Ali’s father took him to many Muslim sheikhs and clerics, and Ali asked them to amputate his hand in accordance with Islamic Sharia. The sheikhs refused, claiming that only the ruler can make such rulings, and that there are authorities responsible for dealing with such issues. One of the sheikhs encouraged Ali to repent once and for all.

Ali said angrily, “Most of these sheikhs traded with religion and refused to implement the Sharia [law] of Allah.”

The problems between Ali and his father continued, until his dad decided to take him to a psychiatric center to help him quit stealing. But this also failed, because Ali continued to steal with his right hand (after he amputated his left hand).

Said Ali: “I saw that I did not deserve Allah’s mercy unless I amputated my other hand.  Shortly before January’s revolution, I myself amputated my right hand using the same method I used for amputating my left hand [placing it under a speeding train]. I did this because I discovered that nothing was changing; I cannot repent unless I amputate my hand. Thus, I became the authority [sultan], judge, and executioner.”

Ali continued:  “I went to the railroad tracks with joy, placing my right hand under the wheels of the train, experiencing peace of mind knowing that I will not steal again. Despite feeling this peace of mind as a result of my repentance to Allah, my family and neighbors were in shock.”

Ali now lives with his family, consisting of his parents and four siblings, in a modest home. He says with sorrow, “I only receive 215 Egyptian pounds from the department of Social Affairs, but I cannot live on this amount of money.”

The repentant thief asks the government to provide honest work for him, or a special stipend, and an apartment to help him build a new life, so that he can support his family and get married. He also requested that King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia host him, since he is the first thief in the world to apply Islamic Sharia upon himself.

Ali also prays that he becomes a role model for every repentant Muslim. And he wishes that authorities would implement Islamic Sharia as he applied it to himself, adding with disappointment, “I applied the punishment of Islamic Sharia on myself and amputated my hands, but the Muslim Brotherhood did not implement Islamic Sharia.”

While many in the West will deem Ali “insane,” it is important to note that, according to Islamic Sharia—which those clerics he consulted with are learned in—insane thieves should not have their hands amputated, suggesting that those clerics who tried to dissuade him did not deem him insane.

Jerusalem: Devout Muslims Attack Jewish Drivers with Rocks Packed in Snowballs

The savagery continues every day, as Obama continues to press the Israelis and only the Israelis to make concessions.

The snow in Jerusalem Thursday no [sic] only did not stop Arabs from attacking Jewish motorists with rocks but also helped them to do sin [sic] by disguising the rocks as snowballs.

Pelting drivers with snowballs is a dangerous hobby all over the world because if they are like ice, the projectiles can easily break a window or simply cause the driver to panic and cause an accident.

That is the objective of Arabs who throw rocks at Jewish drivers every day, but two Haredim were suppressed [sic] Thursday when “snowballs” crashed through their window in the Beit Hanina neighborhood in Jerusalem.

As the snowballs melted away, the rocks were exposed.

No one was injured in the ambush, but their car sustained damage.

Iranians Abruptly Walk Out of Nuke Talks

They say it was because "the Obama administration announced tighter sanctions," but those "tighter" sanctions were effectively toothless. The Iranians know that Obama is disposed to give them whatever they want, and so they walked out of the nuke talks to intimidate him into pressuring the Republicans to drop all talk of new sanctions. And given the weakness of both Obama and the Republicans, it is virtually certain that the Iranians will soon get their way.

Iranian negotiators abruptly ended nuclear talks with Western powers in Geneva on Friday just a day after the Obama administration announced tighter sanctions on Tehran.

Iran had threatened that new or tighter sanctions would nullify the recently reached interim deal, which is not yet in effect.

The Iranians abruptly “halted” the talks and left Geneva so that they could consult with higher-level officials about how to proceed with talks following the tighter sanctions, which were announced Thursday morning by the U.S. Treasury Department.

“The Iranian negotiators interrupted the talks with the [P5+1] for consultations in Tehran,” a negotiator said on Thursday, according to Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency.

“America’s move is against the spirit of the Geneva deal,” Iranian chief negotiator Abbas Araqchi reportedly told the Iranian press. “We are evaluating the situation and will make the appropriate response.”

Iranian and Western negotiators were in the middle of talks about ways to implement the interim agreement when the sanctions were announced, according to experts.

The “wild thing about today’s action [is that] Treasury officials [are] negotiating terms of [the Joint Plan of Action] w/ Iran right now in Vienna,” Foundation for Defense of Democracies expert Jonathan Schanzer tweeted on Thursday afternoon.

The White House told the Washington Free Beacon early Friday that it would address the development later in the day.

The interim accord reached in Geneva created the framework for a final deal that would halt portions of Iran’s contested uranium enrichment program for six months.

With final negotiations on the six-month freeze in limbo, it remains unclear when exactly Iran will begin halting its nuclear work.

Tehran would receive about $7 billion in sanctions relief under the accord and potentially be given the ability to continue its enrichment activities under a final deal.

The issue of new sanctions has been a particular irritant to the Iranians, who hope to reverse all of the West’s economic penalties.

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill had been trying to increase sanctions on Iran before the end of the year. However, the White House and its Democratic allies on Thursday successfully prevented the measure from coming to a vote.

The move was accompanied by Treasury’s sanctions announcement, which was viewed by experts as a middle ground meant to appease sanctions supporters in Congress.

“This was an action taken by the executive,” FDD’s Schanzer told the Free Beacon on Friday. “What this shows is that the White House is trying to on the one hand put a halt on new sanctions to placate the Iranians but enforce existing sanctions to placate Congress and their constituents. It’s a fine line.”

House lawmakers also launched a last minute bid late Thursday to redefine the parameters of the Geneva talks.

The new bipartisan resolution seeks to ensure that Iran fully dismantles its nuclear program and halts all weapons activities.

France sends troops to its former colony to help stop bloodshed between Christian and Muslim militias

Christian civilians fled by the thousands to the airport guarded by French forces in this chaotic capital Friday as the mostly Muslim armed fighters who have ruled the country since March hunted door-todoor for their enemies and the death toll from inter-communal violence rose to 280 people.

Bodies lay decomposing along the roads in a city too dangerous for many to collect the corpses. Thursday's clashes marked the worst unrest in Bangui in nine months and raised fears that waves of retaliatory attacks could soon follow.

"They are slaughtering us like chickens," said Appolinaire Donoboy, a Christian whose family remained in hiding.

France had pledged to increase its presence in its former colony well before Christian militias attacked the capital at dawn Thursday. The arrival of additional French troops and equipment came as the capital teetered on the brink of total anarchy and represented the greatest hope for many Central Africans.

About 1,000 French troops were expected to be on the ground by Friday evening, a French defence official said.

As night fell across the near anarchic capital, Christians fearing retaliatory attacks by the mostly Muslim ex-rebels crowded as close to the runway as possible, laying out their woven mats in front of a barbed wire coiled fence. National radio announced that at least 280 people had died, citing figures from local Red Cross officials.

France signalled its amped up presence Friday by sending out armoured vehicles to patrol the streets.

Up to 250 French troops are carrying out permanent patrols in Bangui, and "we didn't notice any direct clashes between armed groups today," said French military spokesman Col. Gilles Jaron in Paris.

On Thursday, however, 10 armed attackers in a pickup truck fired on a French position at the airport. French forces returned fire, killing four attackers and wounding six, Jaron said.
