Muslim Cleric Incites Children to ‘Slaughter’ Christians and Alawites in Syria
There have been over 22,00 deadly Islamic attacks since September 11th, each one with the imprimatur of a Muslim cleric.
Religious leaders teaching children to slaughter. Speak against them and you are an islamophobe - as if fear of jihad isn't rational or logical.
"Muslim Cleric Incites Children to ‘Slaughter’ Christians and Alawites in Syria," By Raymond Ibrahim (thanks to Filip)
A video recently appeared of an Islamic Sunni cleric in Syria inciting Muslim schoolboys, most of whom appear to be between the ages of five-twelve, to hate and kill Christians and others.
![]()
An indoctrination that knows no bounds
According to a report in Arabic (scroll down for video), among other things, the sheikh calls on the children to “slaughter all Christians for being infidels” and that he boasted that “the Christians of Syria are under continuous attack and their churches and monasteries subject to violence.”
In the video, the sheikh first talks of Islam’s egalitarianism—that it does not consider the race, nationality, or language of people, only whether they have submitted to Islam by becoming Muslims or not—adding, “because the entire world is for Allah.”
He then tells the children that “Islam uplifts the Muslims and debases the non-Muslims,” while raising one hand, symbolic of Islam, and lowering the other, symbolic of all non-Islam, to drive the point home to his young audience.
Next the sheikh asked the children, “Now, the crusaders, that is, the Christians, are they Muslims or infidels?” A few boys answer, “infidels.”
He agreed, pointing out that various Koran verses say that whoever says Jesus is the son of God (that is, Allah) or that he is God is an infidel (see Koran 5:73 and 5:17).
To clarify the point to those children unable to understand all this “theological” talk, the cleric made the sign of the cross, saying “Christians are they who do this.”
He then moved on to the Alawites, the Shia sect of President Bashar Assad, and called on the children to slaughter anyone belonging to them—making a knife-slitting motion with his hand across his neck—because they too are infidels.
The sheikh further told the children in attendance that what they are being taught in schools—that Christians and Alawites are their “brothers” and they are all one nation—is false and a lie against Islam. This would be a reference to the highly divisive Islamic doctrine of loyalty and enmity, which commands Muslims to hate all non-Muslims—even if they are married to them.
As for the school text books that the boys are taught from—which he said teach all Syrians to treat each other as “brothers” and as “one nation,” regardless of religion—these he called “poisonous,” since “these teachings contradict the law [Sharia] of Allah.”
Finally, while confirming that some non-Muslims have “rights” under Islam—a reference to third-class dhimmi status—he called on the children never to show any love for Christians or Alawites, even if they are their neighbors.
Such is the unswerving nature of the “rebels” and “opposition” that the U.S. government is supporting.
Muslim Mob Kills Man After Fruit Found Wrapped In Koran Pages
This collective and religiously sanctioned bloodlust is illustrative of the most repulsive and monstrous ideology on the face of the earth. Ghastly and gruesome.
"Pakistani Mob Kills Man After Fruit Found Wrapped In Koran Pages," By Radio Free Europe, December 12, 2013 (thanks to Religion of Peace)
QUETTA, Pakistan -- Pakistani officials say an angry mob killed a man and wounded three others in the southwestern city of Quetta over the desecration of a Koran.
Balochistan's provincial home secretary, Asad Gilani, says the violence began on December 11 after a man at Quetta's Hazar Ganji fruit market found a crate of Iranian-grown pomegranates that were wrapped in pages torn from the Muslim holy book.
An angry mob quickly formed and began shouting slogans against Shi'a, who form a majority in Iran, and then marched to Quetta's main market, Liaquat Bazar, in the city center trying to shut down shops.
Amid the chaos, a gunbattle broke out at Liaquat Bazar that left one dead and three injured.
RFE/RL's correspondent in Quetta reports that hundreds of Sunni men from Ahl-e Sunnat Waljamaat, a conservative Islamist party, were on the streets of Quetta protesting and calling for government action.
That group claims that the fruit arrived from Iran already wrapped in the Koran pages.
But police are also investigating the possibility of a provocation aimed at stirring up violence against Quetta's ethnic Hazara Shi'ite community.
Police in Quetta told RFE/RL that they have detained at least five men for questioning.
They include the owner of the stall where the pomegranates and Koran pages were found on December 11, as well as the man who reported the discovery to police.
Others detained for questioning were employees of the Hazar Ganji market fruit dealer, including a truck driver who transported crates of the pomegranates to Quetta from the Pakistani town of Taftan on the border with Iran.
According to a police report on the initial findings of the investigation, the truck driver told the authorities that the fruit had been bought from a private trader in Taftan who had purportedly brought them into Pakistan from neighboring Iran.
Jihad-Supporting Imam Raised Millions on U.S. Fundraising Tour
The enemy raises millions of dollar in the US to wage their jihad campaigns. And who is donating the millions? Peaceful Muslims - the ones the West is counting on to defeat jihad. Such asshattery is without equal.
"Jihad-Supporting Imam Raised Millions on U.S. Fundraising Tour," By John Rossomando and Ravi Kumar, IPT News, December 11, 2013
A Syrian Sunni sheik who raised at least $3.6 million during a U.S. fundraising tour last April has blessed a new coalition of Syrian jihadist groups aiming to replace the Assad regime with an Islamic state.
Sheik Osama al-Rifai, who raised the money for the Franklin, Mich.-based Syrian Sunrise Foundation, endorsed the creation of the Islamic Front in a Nov. 22 YouTube video. The front represents a merger of seven jihadist groups fighting Bashar al-Assad's forces. Many of them have ties to al-Qaida.
"The unification of these great Islamist and jihadist groups is not a normal piece of news, but is a great event that brings the happiness and thrill to every Muslim, not only in Syria but in the whole Islamic world," al-Rifai said in remarks translated by the Investigative Project on Terrorism. "I congratulate this brilliant news; I congratulate the brothers who formed it. I cannot say that we bless this group because it is they who should be blessed by them."
Al-Rifai visited mosques and Islamic community centers in cities across America. He spoke at fundraising dinners on Sunrise Foundation's behalf in Tampa, Miami, the Chicago area, Dallas, Crown Point, Ind., Los Angeles, a Detroit suburb called Novi and Meadowlands, N.J.
In Dallas, he said that anyone who works to raise awareness about what is happening in Syria was "a jihadist for Allah."
"Those who are subjecting themselves to martyrdom for the sake of god and who defend themselves and their families, not only them who are performing the jihad, but every single Muslim, Arab, and Syrian who has sympathy toward what happens in Syria," Al-Rifai said. "Every single one of you who give any kind of effort to help his brothers in Syria is a jihadist for Allah, every single one of you who spread the word to raise the awareness among the others about what's happening in Syria is a jihadist for Allah.
"I would love to address my brothers who are in charge of the organizations here like Shaam Relief, and Syrian Sunrise Foundation, you must be very aware that you are too performing jihad just like your brothers in Syria."
Calls seeking comment from the Investigative Project to the Syrian Sunrise Foundation and its President Ahmad Alabas were not returned.
The United States and United Kingdom suspended all non-lethal aid to rebels in northern Syria Wednesday, after the Islamic Front took over bases that had belonged to the western-backed Free Syrian Army. Officials fear the existing supplies could fall into the jihadists' hands. That assistance could include items such as radios, body armor, transportation and night-vision goggles.
The Syrian Sunrise Foundation's Facebook page states that al-Rifai helped raise $1.5 million in Tampa, $280,000 in Miami, $320,000 in Indiana, and $1.5 million in the Detroit area.
He spoke April 5 at the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview, Ill. Two mosque leaders, Kifa Mustapha and Jamal Said, were implicated in a previous terror-support investigation. Said appears on a telephone list for the "Palestine Committee," a Muslim Brotherhood umbrella group charged with supporting Hamas politically and financially. Mustapha was a paid fundraiser for one of the committee's branches, raising more than $300,000 for the Holy Land Foundation. Five foundation officials were convicted in 2008 of providing material support for Hamas.
The Syrian Sunrise Foundation likely brought al-Rifai to the U.S. due to his reputation inside Syria as the head of a movement with a large charitable operation.
Its website says that it aims "to send aid to families, orphans, and widows affected by the conflict." The group claims to have a "well-established humanitarian network of hundreds of workers" and denies having any sort of "any political, religious, or any other agenda."
In June, al-Rifai participated in a conference in Cairo in June that supported overthrowing Assad.
The conference was also attended by radical Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi and former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. The conference closed with a statement by an Egyptian cleric, Sheikh Mohamed Hassan, saying, "We're obliged to jihad in order to assist our brothers in Syria, with fighters, funding and arms."
And al-Rifai made vicious anti-Semitic statements in a 2010 speech, blaming Jews as "absolute evil" for corrupting society.
"Each time they lived with any nation, they subjected this nation to a curse, and they don't have any friends among the whole nations," he said. "This friendship between the Jews and the West is a fake and fabricated one. All the politicians and the intellectuals in the West are aware of this ... but because of political pressure they cannot admit that. If they were really free, they would kick Israel with their legs."
Jews corrupted Western women "through Freud," al-Rifai said before invoking a classic anti-Semitic forgery: "And the Jews mention in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion that all the nations are the donkeys of the Jews, and that they cannot humiliate and ride these donkeys until they can corrupt them. This is in the Elders of Zion, and I ask the God to give me the capability to explain all of that."
A Fundamentalist Charter
Al-Rifai frequently speaks about morality and uniting all Syrians, but endorses a coalition that opposes those ideals. The coalition al-Rifai now supports could have as many as 45,000 men under its command, IHS Jane's estimates.
Most of the factions that make up the Islamic Front, including its leadership, have had close relations with Al-Qaida's Syrian branches, Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria. They have issued statements expressing appreciation of the Syrian al-Qaida branch.
"This independent political, military and social formation aims to topple the Assad regime completely and build an Islamic state where the sovereignty of almighty God alone will be our reference and ruler," Ahmed Abu Eissa, leader of the Suqour al-Sham Brigades, said in a Reuters report following the Islamic Front's creation.
The new coalition's charter rejects secularism as contrary to Islam, saying that it divides "religion from life and society" and reduces it "exclusively to rituals, customs and traditions." Its leaders claim that they would not institute an "oppressive, authoritarian system," saying Syria should be ruled by an Islamic consultative council or shura.
"[The Islamic Front] does not participate in any political process contrary to religion or which give sovereignty to anything other than the Law of God Almighty, with the political process which does not recognize that legislation is the right of God alone," the charter says. "The Front cannot participate in, recognize or rely on it, for religion without politics is forbidden in our religion, and politics without religion is rejected secularization."
Zahran Alloush, leader of Jaish al-Islam and chief of military operations for the Islamic Front, solicited foreign fighters to come fight for his faction in a 7 tweet. He also called for resurrecting the caliphate in a July 25 YouTube video in which he also advocated cleansing Syria of Shiites and Alawites. Videos show his fighters flying the jihadist black flag rather than the pre-Ba'ath Syrian flag used by the Western-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) and its allies.
Alloush was also a member of the FSA military council along with Sheik Ahmed Issa, who heads Suquor al-Sham. Both quit Tuesday and issued a declaration announcing their withdrawal from the body. Zaman Alawsl, an Internet newspaper focusing on the Syrian Civil War, reports that the declaration came hours after FSA Chief of Staff Gen. Salim Idris allegedly told a British newspaper that the FSA would fight Jabhat al-Nusra and other Islamic extremist groups should Assad fall.
Fighters from Harakat Ahrar al-Sham have fought alongside Jabhat al-Nusra. The two groups coordinated the September attack against the ancient Christian town of Ma'aoula. Ahrar Al-Sham also has worked with the Free Syrian Army and with the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood.
Hassan Aboud, the head of Ahrar Al-Sham, told Al-Jazeera in a June 8 interview that his group had previously taken part in a number of joint operations with Jabhat al-Nusra.
He agreed with the al-Qaida affiliate that "Islam is the precept for actions," but his group's only differences with it al-Nusra came down to tactics and some provisions.
He expressed the same sort of opposition to democracy found in the Islamic Front's charter.
"Democracy is people governing people, according to rules they please," Aboud said. "We say that we have a divine system whose law is Allah's for his creatures and his slaves who he appointed as viceregents on this Earth."
Abu Muhammed al-Husseini, the head of al-Sham's political office in Raqqa, told Reuters in July that his group had no major disagreements with al-Nusra, but only differs with it when it comes to "operational details."
Suquor al-Sham signed a declaration with Jabhat al-Nusra in September defining their goal as obtaining "the rule of sharia and making it the sole source of legislation" and that those groups opposed to the Assad regime should operate within "an Islamic framework." It was also signed by Islamic Front members Ahrar al-Sham, the Tawhid Brigade and Jaish Al Islam.
Suquor al-Sham has been involved in beheadings, such as one of a Syrian civilian shown in a YouTube video from February.
Issa, like others in the Islamic Front, has a dim view of secular democracy. "We do not want people to be ruled by statutory laws cited by humans, whether right or wrong," he said in a June 15 interview with Al-Jazeera.
Al-Rifai and the Syrian Sunrise Foundation
Al-Rifai was involved in the Muslim Brotherhood's 1979-1982 uprising against dictator Hafez al-Assad. He lived in exile in Saudi Arabia for about 15 years before returning to Syria in 2000.
He previously held friendly relations with Bashar al-Assad, so much so that the Syrian president personally visited him in 2002 out of respect for his personal stature in Syria. That changed in August 2011, after Syrian security forces stormed al-Rifai's mosque in Damascus, which was one of the main locations for anti-Assad protesters in the early days of the uprising.
Al-Rifai leads the Zayd Movement, a Sufi faction with 20,000 followers and is said to control 450 mosques in Syria. Zayd runs charities around Damascus that provide food for needy families. The Syrian Muslim Brotherhood has actively sought to build an alliance with al-Rifai and Zayd in an effort to regain influence in Damascus.
Although Zayd is not part of the Muslim Brotherhood or connected with it, both share "the same school of thought," according to a member of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood who spoke with the Carnegie Endowment.
Al-Rifai's recent endorsement of the Islamic Front and the blurry lines between the Sunni factions fighting to topple the Assad regime and the millions it has raised in the United States raises certain questions. That includes the millions raised by the Syrian Sunrise Foundation.
Once the money leaves the United States it becomes next to impossible to track. This is especially true of a warzone such as Syria.
The Holy Land Foundation example stands as a case and point. The charity claimed it merely routed aid to needy Palestinians, but evidence presented during the trial showed millions of dollars were sent to groups controlled by Hamas.
"The purpose of creating the Holy Land Foundation was as a fundraising arm for Hamas," U.S. District Judge Jorge Solis said during a 2009 sentencing hearing.
The Syrian Sunrise Foundation markets itself with a similar message of helping the needy.
But it raised millions of dollars with a Syrian cleric who now supports a jihadist coalition tied to al-Qaida, and someone whose anti-Semitic rantings were known years before his American tour. Syria's civil war created an enormous humanitarian crisis.
Al-Rifai's solution – embracing brutal jihadists – offers little hope of making things better.
Jihad in Thailand: Devout Muslims murder six, injure 16 in three attacks
Jihad in Thailand is daily and it's deadly. Is it any wonder that neighboring Burma (Myanmar) is pushing back on Rohingya Muslims waging jihad there?

Our man Chai in Thailand writes:
I don’t bother alerting you to the ‘everyday’ terrorist murder or two in Thailand’s southern provinces because you’d be reporting on nothing else.
But today was a bad day by normal standards, with five soldiers killed and 14 injured in a roadside bombing and a police officer shot and murdered on his way to work.
There were other terrorist shootings reported on the radio, but few details are coming through as yet.
Just keep repeating “Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion of peace.”

A crater 1.5 metres deep and two metres wide is left in the road in Pattani's Kapho district on Wednesday after a bomb buried underneath it was detonated by suspected insurgents. Five soldiers were killed and 14 wounded. (Photo by Abdullah Benjakat.)
Police said the incident occurred at around noon on the Thung Yang Daeng-Klapor Highway in tambon Plong Hoi in Kapho district.
A group of 19 soldiers from Infantry Company 15332 of the Pattani Task Force 25 were travelling in a six-wheeled truck on their way to 15th Infantry Division in Nong Chik district when the incident occurred.
Insurgents detonated the bomb by mobile phone as the vehicle entered Ban Makor Moo 1. The truck was thrown off the road and hit a tree. A number of soldiers were hurled from the vehicle by the force of the blast - some up to 20 metres.
Four soldiers died at the scene, while 15 were injured, two seriously. They were rushed to Kapho District Hospital, where another soldier later died, taking the death toll from the attack to five.
The explosion left a crater 1.5 metres deep and two metres wide in the road. Debris of a five kilogramme cooking gas cylinder and a mobile phone were found at the scene.

Police inspecting the scene said the fatalities were likely to have resulted from the truck’s collision with a roadside tree, given the injuries on the bodies of the deceased.
A traffic police officer was meanwhile shot dead in Muang district of Yala province on Wednesday morning, police said.
The attack occurred at 7.54am as Pol Sr Sgt Maj Montree Saengmolee was travelling in his car to work at Krong Pinang police station.
Pol Sr Sgt Maj Montree was killed instantly when two men on a motorcycle opened fire him at a spot on the Malayu Bangkok-Phong Yirai bypass in Muang district.
The gunshots left his car peppered with holes. The attackers took his pistol and a rifle from the car before fleeing. The officer had been shot and wounded in an earlier attack, but survived.

policeman shot dead in Yala, as five soldiers killed in pattani
FIVE SOLDIERS were killed and 10 others injured - four seriously - in a bomb attack yesterday in Pattani's Kapho district, while a police officer was gunned down earlier in Yala's Muang district. Police investigators have put the two attacks down to the ongoing unrest in the region.
Up to 15 soldiers were travelling in a six-wheel truck from their base in Kapho district to take a break at the Army Region 4's Ingkayut Borihan camp in Nong Chik district as part of a five-vehicle convoy. However, when the convoy drove past Ban Makor School in Plong Hoy sub-district at noon, a bomb placed inside a 30-kilogram gas cylinder and buried under the road, exploded sending the six-wheeler crashing into a tree.
The deceased were identified as Phakin Phokinsirakul, Preecha Tohte, Apisak Or-ake, Natthawut Som-wong and Jakkrit Ubonjinda, all 22 years old and all holding the rank of Private. Ten others were injured, and the four seriously wounded were identified as Privates Piya-pong Inthanom, Withawat Rat-tanadilok Na Phuket, Ronnapop Loylong and Sonthaya Onnuan.
An informed source said this spot was risky as insurgents had previously launched similar attacks there
Police investigators suspect insurgency sympathisers had carried out this attack.
Earlier the authorities received a report that an unknown group had brought several home-made bombs into Kapho and Sai Buri districts.
Meanwhile, traffic policeman Pol Sub-Lieutenant Montree Saengmolee was shot dead in Yala's Muang district yesterday morning, police said.
The victim, who had survived an earlier attack, was driving to work at the Krong Penang Police Station via the Malayu Bangkok-Pong Yeurai bypass when two men on a motorbike opened fire at him at 7.54am. Montree died instantly and his attackers fled with his pistol and rifle. Police blamed separatists for this shooting.
At 3.45pm yesterday, an unknown group of armed men opened fire at two men - Jeh-usenf Awae, 25, and Russalan Ma-ae, 20 - while they were watching TV at home in Pattani's Yarang district. Around the same time, villager Lasi Panoh, 35, was shot and injured in Khok Pho district. Police are investigating to see if the shootings are related to insurgency.

Former British Boxer Anthony Small: The Killing Of Leaders By Drone Attacks Will Not End Our Jihad
But is it not about time that the enemies of Islam learn or realize that the victory of Islam and the establishment of the shari'a does not rest upon the head of one individual?
Again and again and again. The common thread never changes. The piety, the ideology always the same. Despite differences in nationality, affluence, poverty, color, race -- all those things diverge. But one thing is constant: jihad. And yet we can't talk about it. And that's the problem. The problem is that we can't talk about the problem.
Former British Boxer Anthony Small: The Killing Of Leaders By Drone Attacks Will Not End Our Jihad
Following are excerpts from a Friday sermon delivered in London by former British boxer Anthony Small, a.k.a. Abdul Haqq. The sermon was posted on the Internet on November 18, 2013.
Anthony Small: "Brothers, just about a week ago, the leader of Pakistan Taliban, brother Hakimullah Mehsud, Allah's mercy upon him, was killed by an American drone. But is it not about time that the enemies of Islam learn or realize that the victory of Islam and the establishment of the shari'a does not rest upon the head of one individual?
We place our trust in the power of Allah.
"When will they learn? At the front of the struggle, many years ago, there was a man by the name of Sayyid Qutb, Allah's mercy upon him. The enemies of Islam said: 'Look, all we have to do is kill this man here, make an example out of him, and that's it – these radicals and extremists, this Islam that contradicts our own way of life, will be finished.' We place our trust in the power of Allah."

Atheists face death in 13 countries, global discrimination: study
'Hang atheist bloggers': Hundreds of thousands Bangladeshi Muslims call for execution of atheists
The authors' references to America are just. plain. nuts. The fact is -- it is dangeorus for non-Muslims, whether atheists, Christians, Jews, Hindus, etc., to live under sharia. Islamic law is the problem. Read betwen the lines. It's the only way to read the mainstream media these days. You have to translate from the sharia-compliant, politically correct language of subdued.
The only countries where atheists are in mortal danger are all Muslim.
"Atheists face death in 13 countries, global discrimination: study," By Reuters, December 9, 2013 )thanks to Ken M)
The study, The Freethought Report 2013, was issued by the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU), a global body uniting atheists, agnostics and other religious skeptics, to mark United Nations' Human Rights Day on Tuesday.
(Reuters) - In 13 countries around the world, all of them Muslim, people who openly espouse atheism or reject the official state religion of Islam face execution under the law, according to a detailed study issued on Tuesday.
And beyond the Islamic nations, even some of the West's apparently most democratic governments at best discriminate against citizens who have no belief in a god and at worst can jail them for offences dubbed blasphemy, it said.
"This report shows that the overwhelming majority of countries fail to respect the rights of atheists and freethinkers although they have signed U.N agreements to treat all citizens equally," said IHEU President Sonja Eggerickx.
The study covered all 192 member states in the world body and involved lawyers and human rights experts looking at statute books, court records and media accounts to establish the global situation.
A first survey of 60 countries last year showed just seven where death, often by public beheading, is the punishment for either blasphemy or apostasy - renouncing belief or switching to another religion which is also protected under U.N. accords.
But this year's more comprehensive study showed six more, bringing the full list to Afghanistan, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
In others, like India in a recent case involving a leading critic of religion, humanists say police are often reluctant or unwilling to investigate murders of atheists carried out by religious fundamentalists.
Across the world, the report said, "there are laws that deny atheists' right to exist, revoke their citizenship, restrict their right to marry, obstruct their access to public education, prevent them working for the state...."
Criticism of religious faith or even academic study of the origins of religions is frequently treated as a crime and can be equated to the capital offence of blasphemy, it asserted.
EU STATES OFFEND
The IHEU, which has member bodies in some 50 countries and supporters in many more where such organizations are banned, said there was systematic or severe discrimination against atheists across the 27-nation European Union.
The situation was severe in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Malta and Poland where blasphemy laws allow for jail sentences up to three years on charges of offending a religion or believers.
In these and all other EU countries, with the exception of the Netherlands and Belgium which the report classed as "free and equal," there was systemic discrimination across society favoring religions and religious believers.
In the United States, it said, although the situation was "mostly satisfactory" in terms of legal respect for atheists' rights, there were a range of laws and practices "that equate being religious with being American."
In Latin America and the Caribbean, atheists faced systemic discrimination in most countries except Brazil, where the situation was "mostly satisfactory," and Jamaica and Uruguay which the report judged as "free and equal."
Across Africa, atheists faced severe or systemic violations of their rights to freedom of conscience but also grave violations in several countries, including Egypt, Libya and Morocco, and nominally Christian Zimbabwe and Eritrea.
