THE ETERNAL WORD
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
November 03, 2023 – 11/03/2023

3 – Perfect Completion
Hebrews 11:3 (NKJV) – By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
The universe itself was burst into existence by the power of the voice of God. “In the beginning God” are four of the most powerful words, written and spoken, in the world. Why? Because they leave no room for doubt or misinterpretation. He declared, and creation was! It came into being, riding on the sound waves of His voice. Friends, what are we speaking into existence in our own lives?
Declaration: I will guard the words of my mouth. I will not speak in idleness. Because I am made in the image of God, I know that the words I speak are full of power, for life or for death. I choose life! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
THE ETERNAL WORD
Hebrews 11:3 shines a light on the remarkable power of faith. It reveals that through faith, we come to comprehend the profound truth that the vast and intricate universe, with all its complexities, was masterfully fashioned and set in order by the very word of God. This scripture challenges us to embrace an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the boundless power, wisdom, and goodness of our Creator. It reminds us that the visible world we observe today is a product of the invisible hand of God, teaching us that the most extraordinary and enduring realities often originate from the realm of the unseen.
Earlier I mentioned the four powerful words, “In the beginning God.” Well, we can’t know those four without also knowing these six, “In the beginning was the Word…” Who was the word? Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Living Word of God. The One by whom all things were made, through Him and for Him.
Jesus, full of the Spirit of God (7), overcame the fallen flesh of man-kind (6), and redeemed His creation. (Luke 4:1, Romans 6) You and I are included in that creation package. However, when the Father formed us out of the dust of the earth, He didn’t stop there. He breathed into us His breath of life. He breathed into us the power to declare. And because we were made in His image, we have the power to see our words made manifest.
Proverbs 18:21 NKJV – Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
No doubt James, the brother of Jesus, was very familiar with Proverbs 18:21 when he wrote down in chapter 3 of his book, “Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.”
Our words have power! It is because we’re made in the image of God that our words matter. Like Winston Churchill said, “Where there is great power, there is a great responsibility,” and just as Luke 12:48 tells us, “For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required,” we are to be responsible and sober about the words we allow to come forth from us. The Lord is concerned with our words because He’s entrusted to us the power that comes from them. Let’s decide right now, that regardless of our past mistakes or carelessness, we will enter into this new year and this new season, with pure hearts and clean speech before the Lord.
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. – Psalm 24:4-5 NKJV

WHEN YOU PRAY

2 – A Faithful Witness and Being Set Apart
Luke 11:2 (NKJV) – So He said to them, ” When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
The lens that we see God through directly corresponds to how we relate to Him. If you had an abusive or domineering father, you might see God through a lens of fear. Maybe your father was altogether absent, you might see God as distant and unavailable. In the midst of all the ways we get relationships messed up down here, Jesus still tells us to approach God Almighty as our Father. Believe me, friends, He’s a good, good Father and we can trust Him.
Declaration: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. There is one God, the Father, from whom all things are and for whom we exist. Just like my Father, I will be kind to the ungrateful and wicked. I will be merciful, because He is merciful. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
(James 1:16-18; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Luke 6:35-36)
WHEN YOU PRAY
My friend Will Ford III is a world-changing Jesus freak. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, you need to look him up. Many know him internationally, however, for a family heirloom passed down through history, and its connection to slavery and prayer for freedom. He has a cast iron cooking kettle that belonged to his ancestors, who were slaves in Louisiana over 150 years ago. His people were not allowed to pray for freedom so they would turn the kettle over, put some small rocks under the rim, and whisper their prayer for freedom into that kettle. They prayed for the release of their children from slavery. Incredibly, Will now leads a national prayer movement on the release of racial hatred and injustice.
As a leader in this prayer movement, Will uses this “prayer bowl” (Revelation 5:8) as a catalyst for mobilizing prayer and teaching on intercession, revival, and societal transformation. It’s an amazing testimony! Redemption has caused him to be the fulfillment of those prayers his ancestors prayed. He believes that it was the prayers of a godly remnant of all races—revivalists and abolitionists—that brought revival to America and ultimately ended slavery.
My friends, prayer changes things. King Jesus made it a habit to get away and pray in the peak of His ministry here on earth. He knew that a thriving ministry could only be empowered and have endurance through the power of prayer. His disciples noticed this too, because out of all the questions they could have asked the King of kings and Lord of lords, they asked Him, “Lord, teach us to pray…” Jesus’ response was immediate, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” Right off the bat, Jesus tells us to identify God as our Father. All throughout Scripture we are told of how the Lord our God is a good Father to His people. Let’s take a look.
Luke 12:32 (NKJV) – “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
2 Corinthians 6:16-18 (NKJV) – “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” 17 Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” 18 “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
Isaiah 64:8 (NKJV) – But now, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.
1 John 3:1 (NKJV) – Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
When we understand that God is a good Father, then, like brother Paul tells us to, we’ll approach the throne boldly in prayer. In direct correlation to His goodness, we’ll be able to trust Him with ourselves and with our needs. That’s a good place to be, my friends, right before the throne of our Father.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! – Matthew 7:11 NKJV

FOCUS ON THE ONE
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
November 01, 2023 – 11/01/2023
11 – Heroes Rising
1 – Unity
Deuteronomy 11:1 (NKJV) – “Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.”
God Almighty in His wisdom and love, set up relationships to be at their best when the people involved are united. There’s great power in unity! Just look at the tower of Babel fiasco, or what the 133rd chapter of Psalms tells us about unity! At my church, OpenDoor Church in Burleson, Texas, one of our 16 core values is, “Unity makes us a conduit for God’s power.” You can see why God would make a big deal out of it, and out of the things we choose to be united with.
Declaration: With unwavering faith, I declare that becoming ONE with God is my foremost pursuit, and the presence of 111 in my life is a divine reminder of His intimate company and boundless blessings.
FOCUS ON THE ONE
On this 111 day, it is key that we understand the significance of this number, especially if it has been chasing you down. Here’s an excerpt from my book Numbers That Preach that goes into this a little bit more:
“God’s number one priority is that you become ONE with Him. I am a 111 person. I see it everywhere, and I believe 111 has to do with the awareness of the presence of God. To me it’s like God saying, “I am here with you, and I am going to bless you!” When I start seeing 111 everywhere I start hearing God speak in a whole new way.”
Running around in this day and age, we get caught up on the next thing and then the next thing. This repeating cycle is nothing but one of the tricks of the enemy; if he can’t stop you from doing the Kingdom business, he’ll get you to burn yourself out with the busyness of it all, distracting you from recognizing the actual purpose and destiny God the Father has for your life. We have to stop the endless repetition of being overly committed and, instead, be intentional to allow for our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father to come in and dwell with us. It’s moving from just visitation, to habitation.
John 14:23 (NKJV)
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
If we set our hearts on the Lord, if we choose to draw near to Him, He can’t help but draw near to us! Hebrews 11 tells us that the Lord is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. The definition for the word diligent is persevering attention, constant effort, persistent. Instead of being caught up by the constant demand of our schedules, let’s be constantly going after the heart of King Jesus, passionately and enduringly!
God cries out to us with the message of 111, “I am here with you, and I am going to bless you!” It is our job to respond, to say “Yes” in the midst of our responsibilities and burdens. When He knocks at the door of our hearts, we will open the door and invite Him in!
Revelation 3:20 – Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
October 31, 2023 – 10/31/2023
10 – Perfect Order
31 – Offspring or Generations After You
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NKJV) – Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Back in the 17th century, there was this monk that became known for how he carried the presence of God. You know how he did it? By washing dishes. He learned how to do everything, even the most menial, everyday task, to the glory of God.
Declaration: I will honor the Lord with my thoughts, with my words, and with my actions. I will let my light shine before men, that they may see my good works and glorify my Father in heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD
The apostle Paul knew about this. Not only did he write about it in 1 Corinthians 10:31, but he practiced it as well. He was a tent maker back in the day, and because tent building was hard work, he would wear an apron and use a sweat rag. When people were in need of an encounter with the Lord, and Paul couldn’t make it to them, they were able to be healed and delilvered if they were touched by those very same handkerchiefs or aprons! Why? Because Paul knew how to glorify God in all things.
When we glorify the Lord in the day-to-day events, we make space for Him to invade those places. It’s an invitation to Him to be a part of whatever it is we’re doing. When we know He’s with us, we can’t help but operate in a manner that pleases and honors Him. So our everyday lives can become a continuous display of the goodness of God.
People can’t help but be transformed by coming into contact with the Spirit of the Living God. A life that glorifies the Lord, is a life that transforms the lives of others that encounter it. This is for us! Look at what Jesus says in the gospel of Matthew:
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
– Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV
So get intentional, friends! Get intentional about inviting the Lord into your work, into your commute; hey, even into your dish-washing. He is with us and when we invite Him into relationship, He always says, “Yes.”
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah – Psalms 24:8-10 NKJV

THE GREAT NUMBERER
October 30, 2023 – 10/30/2023

30 – Acts of Redemption and Accomplishing Priestly Service
The Creator God who took the time to number and name the stars in the heavens, is the very same One that has numbered the hairs on your head. (Psalm 147:4) He is not just concerned with the big picture of your life, He’s intimately involved with every detail of your day to day walk.
Declaration: I will trust the Lord and not lean on my own understanding. I will cast all my cares upon Him, because He cares for me.
THE GREAT NUMBERER
Numbers, measures and weights are parts of the language of heaven, and many times are specific sermons or prophetic indicators of spiritual themes. Literally everything God designs is embedded with a brilliant mathematical code – music, flowers, space – bible numeric appears to be God’s watermark of authenticity. It prevents counterfeiting. So when King Jesus tells us that the very number of hairs on our heads are numbered, He’s telling us that we are stamped by the hand of God, our Father and Creator.
Luke 12:6-7
“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
7
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
The Lord numbers the things He cares about! He cares for us so much as unique individuals that He numbered the hairs on our heads. He cares so much about our daily lives that He numbered our days. Psalm 37:18 – “The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever.” He’s so intentional about the numbering of things, that He has at least one angel dedicated to it!
Daniel 8:13 says, “Then I heard one saint speaking and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake how long will it be until the vision concerning their daily sacrifice and the transgression of the desolation…how long?”
In the Hebrew, what king James and the boys have translated “that certain saint” is a word called “Palmoni” which is the numberer of secrets or the wonderful numberer. Why? Because it all glorifies God!
God uses numbers to establish His truth, but it is His truth and not the numbers. So when we seek Him and His truth, many times the numbers will back up what He is already speaking to us.

FLOOD, MEET STANDARD
October 29, 2023 – 10/29/2023

29 – Mountains
It seems like just about every day brings with it some global crisis, an impending natural disaster, or just the struggles of everyday life. Many times the storms rising up against us can seem hopeless and overwhelming, but my friends, I want you to remember this–
Jesus Christ is resurrected from the dead.
Declaration: I will not submit to a spirit of fear. I will be strong and courageous in the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
There are countless brothers and sisters throughout Scripture that came face to face with adverse odds. The Hebrews confronted with giants in the Promised Land, Deborah & Barak facing the Canaanites and their chariots, Gideon & his 300 going up against the Midianites, Jesus experiencing the Roman occupation of Israel and the opposition of the Pharisees, you and I resisting the constant assault of a fallen society. Fighting the good fight ain’t easy! But one thing they all have in common with eachother, and what we can access because of King Jesus–victory.
Jesus never promised us an easy go at it, in fact, He promised us the very opposite! “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
You and I will have to face some hard things, but we can take heart in the reality that Jesus Christ is raised from the dead and He is victorious! We’ve entered into that victory, the same victory that causes us to be more than conquerors!
The Father has equipped us through Jesus Christ, Jesus has not left us helpless. The Holy Spirit dwells in us, empowering us to “occupy and do business” until Jesus returns. Well, what is Kingdom business?
The same business King Jesus was concerned with and commanded us to be about, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” It is the Father’s business! When we go about doing this work, we’re bringing in an opposite Kingdom, and opposite Spirit than that of the world. That’s the exact same standard the Father raises in order to defeat the works of the enemy.
“When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.” – Isaiah 59:19
Full of the Holy Spirit, we are the standard that the Father uses to disrupt and overturn the kingdom of darknesss, just like our big Brother, Jesus.
(1 John 3:8) Just as the blessed nation of Israel, we will be able to declare,“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” The kingdom that would come against us with a flood of darkness, will instead be overcome by the Kingdom of Light, and the very chaos and disarray they attempted to flood us with, will be turned back on their own heads!

A REDEMPTION OF HOPE
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
October 28, 2023 – 10/28/2023
10 – Perfect Order
28 – Times and Seasons
Proverbs 10:28 (NKJV) – The hope of the righteous will be gladness, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.
We are made righteous by faith, just like Abraham whose faith in God was counted for righteousness. But, we’ve got an upgrade because Jesus cemented the deal! 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God–and righteousness provided by Jesus, we can put our hope in Him with the full expectation of seeing it come to fruition.
Declaration: I will put my hope in the Lord, and I will not be ashamed. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. Though I am in the world, I will not be of the world – I am righteous in God by faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
A REDEMPTION OF HOPE
Redemption is the ultimate game-changer. Redemption is God’s plan for transforming all created things. Redemption is what Jesus brings when He’s invited into a place and changes everything. To be redeemed, is to be forgiven, made holy, justified, free, adopted, and reconciled.
(See Psalm 130:7-8; Luke 2:38; and Acts 20:28)
We have to make a big deal out of redemption! It’s the center theme of the entire Bible. It’s the prophetic story the heavens declare to the Glory of God. It’s what Jesus Christ came to bring and who He himself became: REDEMPTION! Through the transformational power of redemption, messed up minds become gifted for learning; shameful and pitiful people become honored and confident, and those who only knew the despair of a life without Jesus, now know how to hope in the Lord.
The act of changing common well water into the best wine you’ve ever tasted is exactly what an act of redemption looks like. This, the very first miracle of the 37 biblically recorded miracles of King Jesus, shows us exactly what Jesus was supernaturally commissioned, or anointed, to bring into our lives.
He changed something common into something extraordinary. He changed a place and a time of sadness into a place and time of great joy. He changed a situation from having not nearly enough into having way more than enough. He changed a shameful situation of lack and disappointment into a highly honorable situation of opulence and dreams coming true. Redemption changes everything. Because we have redemption through Jesus Christ, we know we can safely place our hope in Him–confident we will see it come to pass!

HEEDING THE VOICE
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
October 27, 2023 – 10/27/2023
10 – Perfect Order
27 – The Unveiled and Revealed in God’s Presence, Light of Truth.
John 10:27 (NKJV) – My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
In this decade of the Pey or mouth, it is crucial that we hear the voice of the Lord so that our own mouths line up with what He is saying. We have to have a higher value for hearing His voice, a hunger to hear His voice, and a readiness to heed His voice and act on it!
Declaration: I am ready to hear your voice no matter where You want to speak. Help me Lord to find You in my busy places, help me to hear the music and recognize Your greatness in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
HEEDING THE VOICE
It’s all about the power of the spoken word. If God literally creates with His words, what does that say about ours? They, too, are powerful. The only fail-proof way I know of guarding our words (Psalm 141:3) is to say what the Father is saying. King Jesus tells us in Matthew 4:4 that ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’
How do we receive our daily bread? By hearing the voice of the Lord. It’s impossible to belong to the Lord and not hear His voice. The fact that we believe in and have faith in Him is because we have heard His voice!
Romans 10:17
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Because we belong to the Father, we’re constantly in conversation with Him. “Whoever is of God hears the words of God”, John 8:47 says. He is always speaking to us because He is relational, and He loves to use the common things around us in our day to day lives–just like He did with the prophets Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:9-19), and Samuel (1 Samuel 15:27-28).
Psalm 29:3-4
The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU, RIGHT NOW A WORD THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING, a word in direct contrast to what the world is saying. We must develop a huge value for the voice of God and be ready and willing with a “Yes” in our spirits.

THE FULLNESS THEREOF
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
October 26, 2023 – 10/26/2023
10 – Perfect Order
26 – Beloved
1 Corinthians 10:26 (NKJV) – For “the earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness.”
Contrary to popular belief, all of creation belongs to the Creator–Jesus Christ. The gospel of John begins with the history of creation. Jesus, the Word of God, was with God the Father in the beginning, and through Him all things were brought forth into existence. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. – Colossians 1:16 (NKJV)
Declaration: I belong to Jesus Christ. Not only did He redeem me through His sacrifice on the cross, but He designed and created me for Himself. May the Lamb receive the reward of His suffering through my devotion and adoration. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
THE FULLNESS THEREOF
There is a portion of Scripture in Psalm 50 where God Almighty is talking to His people the Israelites. He tells them, “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness.” Just before that He tells them that the cattle on a thousand hills belong to Him, and every beast of the field, and all the birds of the air. This is a good reminder that the Lord doesn’t need anything from us, He is completely self sufficient and self contained. Out of that wholeness, He brought forth the heavens and the earth, and the fullness thereof as Genesis chapter 1 explains.
Psalms 8:3-9 (NKJV) – When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
For the Creator to have entered into relationship and partnership with us, His creation, is astounding! The Lord entrusted us to have dominion over HIS creation and when we forfeited it in the garden to the serpent, He sent King Jesus to take back power & authority, and Jesus then handed it back to us!
Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Luke 10:19 (NKJV)
“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
From the very beginning God has had us in mind. The focus of His love was set upon us like a bullseye on a target. Romans 8:29-30, For He knew all about us before we were born and He destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of His Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like Him. 30 Having determined our destiny ahead of time, He called us to Himself and transferred His perfect righteousness to everyone He called. And those who possess His perfect righteousness He co-glorified with His Son! He has given us the fullness of Himself and has trusted us with the fullness of His creation.
Revelation 4:11 (NKJV)
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

DON’T TREAD ON ME
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
October 25, 2023 – 10/25/2023
10 – Perfect Order
25 – Grace for Grace
Joshua 10:25 (NKJV) – Then Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.
Just before verse 25, Joshua had the war captains of Israel place their feet on the necks of the five Amorite kings. It was a prophetic act that brought to remembrance what the Lord had told Joshua earlier in Chapter 1, “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.” We have to remember the promises of the Lord, remember the word He has equipped us with and go into holy warfare to take dominion in the territory the Lord has given us!
Declaration: Father, You direct my paths because I acknowledge and trust in You. Wherever You lead me, I will take dominion, occupying and increasing the Kingdom. Like the prayer of Jabez, Lord, I ask, “that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” In Jesus’ name, Amen!
DON’T TREAD ON ME
One of the most well known emblems of the American Revolution is the Gadsden flag, better known as the ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ flag. When you look at it, it isn’t all that ornate or decked out. It’s just a yellow fabric rectangle with a coiled rattlesnake set to strike in the middle of it. For such a simple design, it delivered a powerful message to Britain and its monarchy concerning the American colonies – don’t seek to take dominion here or expect a fierce retribution.
Thank King Jesus that the brave men and women of the American Revolution decided to make a stand for a nation free of tyranny, however, there are things that need to be ruled over, and there are enemies that need to be tread upon. The garden was the first place we were to take dominion and expand across the face of the earth, but when Adam & Eve fell, there had to be a little bit of rerouting. God the Father declared to the serpent, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”
Early on we had the word of the Father, promising victory over that which our foot is placed on. Jesus did indeed crush the head of the serpent when He came as a six pound baby Jew, placed His feet on this dirt and walked the earth, destroying the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)
Well my friends, King Jesus was victorious! The very promise He fulfilled of that God Almighty gave to Eve, He has passed on to us. Look what He says in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
My friends, we get to follow in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ and destroy the works of the enemy, taking dominion in the territories where wickedness has built strongholds. This is why we go after the schoolboards wanting to educate our children with a “woke” agenda. This is why we save children out of sex trafficking all over the world. This is why we feed the poor, heal the sick, cleanse lepers, and cast out demons.
We are stomping on the necks of the enemies of God, forwarding His Kingdom and taking dominion! We’re closing up down here until those who would oppose Jesus are permanently placed under His feet.
Psalm 110:1 (NKJV)
The LORD said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
