THE APPEAL TO ZEAL
I not only know the plans I have for you, but the thoughts I think about you. You know them too. Do not listen to the world, but My voice. You are My beloved in whom I Am well pleased.
THE APPEAL TO ZEAL
I know I’ve told you about Isaiah 9:7 being the great upgrade scripture, and it is. But today, let’s mine another treasure from this great prophecy of the Lord Jesus.
“Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” – Isaiah 9:7
Zeal means the passion of the Lord. God is a nut about upgrade! God is always progressing so He is like, “Whoooo!” when it comes to your upgrade.
As a Father, and a good one at that, He is passionate about your upgrade and get this: everything in the kingdom upgrades as we humble ourselves toward God and get with His program. He loves to lift us up. Scripture backs that up:
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” – James 4:10
This is a Kingdom verse, not a world verse so know this: it’s one thing for you to humble yourself in the sight of the Lord. That means you conform your life to the way God sees things. It is quite another thing to humble yourself in the sight of the world.
Do not humble yourself before the world.
Religion says you’re suppose to humble yourself before the ungodly. WRONG! The world is not suppose to have authority over you. You’re suppose to have authority over the world. The world should humble itself before you and conform to your way of thinking, which is God’s way of thinking. You do not conform your life to what the world says about you – ever!
You humble yourself before the sight of God Almighty and He upgrades you. He will lift you up because He sees you as a son or daughter, a warrior, a priest, a king and a bride for His beloved Son. Now that’s something to conform your life to!
DO NOT GIVE AWAY YOUR GOD-GIVEN AUTHORITY IN THE SPIRIT REALM OR HERE ON EARTH. VOTE! PRAY! INTERCEDE TODAY! HAVE ZEAL FOR YOUR NATION’S FUTURE!

UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Just as I have shown you the way to live a righteous life pleasing to God, it’s your turn to teach your children. Trust yourself to lead them well. Follow Me. I will lead you, and them, in the way everlasting.
UNDER THE INFLUENCE
God has given you an ability to reach your kids. He has. I know it doesn’t feel like it, but remember, your feelings are liars.
The heart is desperately wicked; who can know it? – Jeremiah 17:9
Your feelings are often controlled by the enemy, as well as the in-a-me, which can be worse. When you feel like you don’t have an impact on your kids, you’re wrong and that’s the truth.
But here’s the deal: you’re not going to reach them by the same methods delivered to you. Some things are timeless and some are not. The truth is timeless. The way you deliver it and the way you apply it, is not.
While the truth of the Gospel is the same, the way you reach your kids is unique to each generation. There’s a way you can communicate to your kids now that you couldn’t communicate to them in years past.
There are certain things you need to communicate to your kids in this generation that no generation before has ever had to deal with. So it’s important that you and I are all about bringing the Kingdom into our families. Remember, the kingdom is when the King has dominion – when we let Jesus rule and reign.
Now that doesn’t mean you have to make your kids learn a bunch of Scriptures and attend church every time the doors are open – though there’s nothing wrong with doing that. Please do that, but it doesn’t mean you force your kids to do church stuff. That’s not what the kingdom is.
The Kingdom is for you to be submitted in a way that Jesus can operate freely in your home. When you talk about problems at school, on social media, television and movies and they see the Kingdom – or lack of the Kingdom – in this those things.
They need to see Jesus in you. In the way you talk, treat people and deal with your finances. They need to see Jesus in you when you’re stuck in traffic, and when the doctor gives a bad report. They need to see Jesus in you when they fail and when they succeed.
They need to see that you love them because you’re madly in love with the Lord Jesus.
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” – Deuteronomy 6:6-7
You have the power to influence your children for Jesus through your everyday dealings with them and others. So talk about Jesus – and if necessary, use words.

IN HIS HANDS
I Am sending My angel armies to fight on your behalf! Know that the battle is Mine and rest in Me as they battle for your destiny.
IN HIS HANDS
Can I tell you, without making you mad, that angels are not chubby white babies with wings and harps? Here’s another shocker: when good people die, they do not – I repeat, do not – become angels spreading joy and happiness throughout heaven.
Angels are God’s special creation. According to the Bible, angels are warriors and they are chomping at the bit to kill somebody!
When Peter went to defend Jesus with a sword, Jesus told him, “I don’t need you to defend me. I have twelve legions of angels at my disposal any time I call for them.”
Who needs 12 legions when 2 Kings 19 records a single angel killing 185,000 Assyrians?
So if there are 6,000 soldiers in a legion, 12 legions is 72,000 soldiers. If one angel is powerful enough to kill 185,000 people, do the math: 12 legions could kill 13 billion people! It is estimated that the world’s population at the time of Christ was only 250 million people. The population of the world didn’t even reach 1 billion until 1804!
The point is, if 12 legions of angels could take out a minimum of 13 billion people, Jesus held the safety of the entire world in His hands. He still does. That truly gives new meaning to the children’s Sunday School song, “He’s got the whole world in His hands,” and it’s a very good place to be.
So make sure you understand that angels are powerful warriors who war in the heavens on your behalf. Need supernatural deliverance? Ask Jesus to unleash an angel to fight for you when Satan is breathing down your neck. They’re just waiting for the command to war against the enemy for you!
Also know that Jesus is in control today, just as much as He was in control in the Garden of Gethsemane. Fear not!
But Jesus said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?” – Matthew 26: 52-54
Today is a good day to know God is in control. Partner with God by praying His word and releasing angelic assignment through powerful declarations. His angels are prepared to do battle for you.

HAPPY HUNTING
I love seeing you hunt for treasure in My word. Don’t stop. There is so much more I want to tell you. Continue to listen to My voice in scripture. I Am leading you out of your wilderness and into your Promised Land – your destiny in me.
HAPPY HUNTING
After 40 years hiding in Midian, Moses had become the thing he hated most – a shepherd. He was surviving day to day in a place he never wanted to be. He needed an encounter with God, and that’s just what the brother got.
“And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” – Exodus 3:2-3
Its not clear how many days Moses saw that bush burn and refused to go look at it. It could have been months or years. However, there came a day he had to go look. In fact, he said, “I will now…”
This took some real guts. Remember, Moses tried something different before and it blew up in his face. Just like that, there comes a time when you have to look into something that could cost you dearly. You need a God-ordained time when you turn aside from normal routine and seek something out because you want to know if God is in it.
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.” – Proverbs 25:2
The same God who made human beings made gold and hid it in a rock so you have to seek it out. Gold represents the divine nature of God Himself. Let me tell you something about God’s heart: it’s there for the taking, but you’re going to have to search Him out.
Have you ever been on a treasure hunt, played hide and go seek, or perhaps enjoyed a bit of geo-caching? The thrill and excitement can get intense when you find a prize. Searching out God’s heart can be exhilarating, exciting, and down-right fantastic! Don’t ignore your burning bush. It will lead you out of your wilderness. Happy hunting!

PASSING ON THE FAMILY NAME
There is always room for one more at My table. I love you and I prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. I call you family in front of a world that wants to devour you. Don’t eat alone. Invite others to our family dinner.
PASSING ON THE FAMILY NAME
As I get older, I’m very aware of how precious it is to have my dad in my life. He’s the patriarch of the Brewer clan. There’s going to be a day when my dad hands that baton over to me. As the patriarch, there’s something I have to pass over to my family and one of those things is the genealogy or history of our family.
It’s been the same throughout the ages.
When God Almighty spoke to Abram, I want to tell you, Abram lost everything for his love for God. He left his house. He left his family. He left his inheritance, his country; and he wandered a wilderness chasing after a God he didn’t know, but couldn’t ignore.
All Abram knew was he was in love with the heart that was behind the voice. When God Almighty showed up to Him in Genesis 17, one of the first things He said to him was that He was going to give him a name.
That God did when he changed Abram (exalted father) to Abraham (father of a multitude). Mind you, he did this decades before Abraham had even one child!
“I make this covenant with you: I promise that you will be the ancestor of many nations. Your name will no longer be Abram, but Abraham, because I am making you the ancestor of many nations.” – Genesis 17: 4-6
Still to this day, when we say the name Abraham, we automatically put the title “father” in front of it. Admit it, you do! That name “Father of a multitude” defined him. Still does today.
When God gives you a name, it defines you. It becomes your identity. Have you taken the name above all names, Jesus, as your identity? By the way, “Jesus” or “Yeshua” means “to rescue or deliver.” That’s your heritage, your identity. Are you passing on the family name?

ALIGNMENT FOR YOUR ASSIGNMENT
You were not only made for such a time as this, My plan for you was set in My heart before your birth, but only you can fulfill your destiny. Come into alignment for your assignment and watch your borders expand.
ALIGNMENT FOR YOUR ASSIGNMENT
The Promised Land is not just an open place, it’s an assigned territory. While the Promised Land is huge, I’ll tell you right now, there are borders to it.
God Almighty will say to you, “I want you to cultivate, steward, and to fight for what I’ve given you – not for what I’ve given to someone else. You’re grown up enough now to know this is the life I’ve given you. You can take it as deep and as far as you want to, but these are the borders.”
Everything in the Promised Land is strategic. You go from a shotgun to a laser beam. He gives you an assignment. He assigns you things in the Promised Land. There is nothing random. You begin to walk in very specific things in the Promised Land and you begin to build up very specific skill sets.
In Promised Land living you have specific territory and specific assignments. That comes from Jesus Himself in the book of John.
“As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.” – John 17:18
Jesus came into the world for specific assignment. Just like He was sent into the world, you and I are sent out into the world in our Promised Land experience for a specific assignment.
So many people in the body of Christ are ineffective because they’re in the wrong assignment. Many people love God with all their heart and have no power at all. All their energy goes toward things that do not matter. But that’s not you!
You know how to fight for what matters. You have to fight for your assignment. Just look for the borders and steward what’s inside them.

GO WITH THE FLOW
Just as My thoughts and My love flow to you, you were made to return that flow. Look for Me to bless you in miraculous ways when you continually seek My face.
GO WITH THE FLOW
In Promised Land living, God’s goodness is flowing with milk and honey. Did you catch that? The important word here is “flowing.”
Why is “flowing” a game-changer? Because it means “continual” and “far-reaching.” It means it’s for every single season – for all time – and you’re free to multi-task. Remember the wilderness where you did one thing – get through the day? Not in the Promised Land.
Have you ever had a wilderness experience? If you haven’t, you’re going to. A job will be lost, a child will rebel, a loved one will turn away, or a doctor will give a bad report. You find yourself surviving the day and you realize, “God is good to me, and God is not my problem. I’m so glad I know me some Jesus.”
Then you move into the Promised Land where the goodness of God is flowing – flowing with milk and honey. Milk is what you need. Honey is what you want. You get both of those things there, and one of the things you notice is that flow is not just day by day. It’s for all time.
In the Promised Land, the goodness of God is flowing all the time. Why is that? Because for milk and honey to be produced, a lot of things have to go right for a very, very long time.
You don’t just get milk because you have cows or honey because you have bees. There are a lot of working parts to the production of honey. The same with milk. A lot of factors have to go right. That’s why it’s flowing. Aren’t you glad for that?
Where is God flowing in your life? Look at your marriage, your kids, your finances or your ministry. Do you see the continual blessing? Continue to chase the Lord. Follow Him and give Him the Glory, then go with the flow.
That you may live long in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey. – Deuteronomy 11:9

A KING OF PEACE
Peace is not the absence of conflict. Peace is Me, ruling over your heart and your life. I Am the Prince of Peace. Give Me dominion over what troubles you and watch My Kingdom come and My will be done in that place.
A KING OF PEACE
So what does it look like when Jesus finally gets to be the King? The answer is in the book of Revelation.
In Revelation, we see that He elevates, honors, and rewards those who love Him. He shares everything He has and everything He is with His people.
He also wages war against those who want to destroy His people. He judges the enemy and openly executes His judgment as the Righteous Judge.
There are no insiders. There are no outsiders. There are no limits to God’s mercy and love. All His people have VIP status and total access to the King.
He rules and reigns over His people and even over the environment itself. How He rules is through peace. Peace is when Jesus had dominion – He rules and reigns over something. That – not absence of conflict – is true peace.
Jesus is unlike any King this world has ever seen. He does not reign through brute force and political manipulation. He rules and reigns through peace. He’s so good.
Do you need peace in your marriage, your family, relationships, job, health, mind, or finances? Wherever you need peace, give Jesus dominion over that place. Invite Him in to rule and reign. Make Him the King over that place and watch as all the above starts to flood your life.
They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. – 1 Peter 3:11
While you’re at it, pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray for Jesus to have dominion over His holy city and His chosen people – our brothers and sisters who missed Him the first time. There is a special blessing in this, so go after it. Peace is yours if you want it. Share it with Jerusalem as the King is coming soon.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. – Psalm 122:6

A CURE FOR THE COUCH
I have a place for you in My Kingdom. I have a job for you to accomplish. Seek My place for you and I will show you a plan for good and not for harm.
THE CURE FOR THE COUCH
If you are not connected and functioning within the body of Christ using the personal gifts and talents you were given, you are not reaching your highest potential. Rebelling against God’s best for you because someone else’s territory looks easier or has more notoriety will cost you dearly.
This mindset has caused many to miss out on the best things God has for them, simply because they were not present when Jesus showed up. That miracle on the mission field? Someone else saw that. The changed life at the food bank? You weren’t a part of it, though it would have happened sooner if you had been there.
Some of the best things about God are not taught, they are caught. They are imparted and come from the anointing that flows from one life to another. It’s one of those things where you “just had to be there” to get changed.
Even though thousands should have been packed in the upper room as Jesus commanded, there were only 120 there when the Holy Spirit showed up to baptize them.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness. – Acts 4:31
If you missed that meeting, well, you missed it! There was a great move of God that He told you to attend, but you didn’t. Sure other opportunities eventually come along, but that one just left you at the station with a ticket still in your hand.
In Matthew 25, Jesus gave the parable of the 10 virgins. Do you know what He called the five who were not at the house when Jesus showed up? FOOLISH!
It’s just plain foolish to be a Christian and not be joined up to the body of Christ. No matter what your excuse, it just doesn’t fly. Today is a good day to get plugged in. God can break any addiction, even if it’s to your couch.

REDEMPTION WITH A CAPITAL “R”
If you love Me, you will obey My commands. This is simple. But for the human heart, it is a hard practice. Obedience leads to reward, victory and overcoming power. Now, that’s freedom!
REDEMPTION WITH A CAPITAL “R”
The whole book of Exodus is about redemption. Really, it’s a redemption story. How do I know? The very same river Moses was supposed to die in, he was saved out of. The name Moses actually means “rescued.”
The very same people who were killing newborn Hebrew babies raised Moses up as their own child. Pharaoh’s daughter actually paid the mama of Moses to help raise her own child. The same people who held the Hebrews in bondage paid them to leave.
Like I said, Redemption with a capital “R.”
The Hebrews went out from Egypt and crossed the Red Sea on dry ground. On the other side, the game changed and there was a whole new set of rules to play by:
1. You stick with God.
2. You stick with God no matter what.
It’s a simple plan, but those knuckleheads had a terrible time following orders, and along with it, following God. As a sold-out abolitionist, I think I may understand why. They didn’t know how to live in freedom.
My tribe and I set people all over the world free from modern-day slavery. We literally pay off their debts – redemption in it’s truest form – and give them a life where they can make their own decisions. Now, that sounds great, but here’s what’s real: They often don’t have a clue what that means.
When someone else has been housing them, feeding them, and thinking for them – even if they’ve done a really bad job at it – these people are lost at the notion of where to go and what to do with their free will.
That’s why we set them up with housing, food, and medical care. We teach them a skill or send them to college. We set some up with small businesses, which is great, but there’s a lot of training, follow up and relationship that goes along with all that. For many of these people, we have to teach them how to live in freedom.
That’s what Father God did in the wilderness. He taught the people how to be free. They learned to depend on Him and to be obedient to His commands. The more they understood His love and provision, the more they obeyed. The more they obeyed, the closer they got to their Promised Land.
Is that you? Learning to stick with God on some issue in your life? Trust and obey. There’s no other way to the freedom Jesus died to provide for you. Redemption with a capital “R.”
You were bought with a price; do not become slaves to men. For he who was called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman… – 1 Corinthians 7:22
