PITCH A TENT, NOT A FIT
My plans are for your good and not to harm you. I am not a tyrant. While I teach you to trust me in your Wilderness, yield to My ways. Be comforted and grow strong. Your upgrade is My expected end.
PITCH A TENT, NOT A FIT
Sadly, many Christians die in the Wilderness and never learn a thing. They are so angry at God because they’re in the Wilderness, they never learn the value of His presence and provision. Is that you?
The immature part of you throws a wall-eyed fit every time you get into a place that’s uncomfortable, so you rage against God. We forget God can be with us in painful places, so we decide He can’t be with us at all. Turning away from His presence kills your testimony, your faith and eventually, your relationship.
It doesn’t have to be that way! You don’t have to bail. If you’ve never let Him be your provider, stop that tantrum and let Him meet your needs. Need a comforter because you’re run everyone else off? His Word says He’s really good at that.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
The day is coming when you will stand before God. You will never suffer, experience pain, or spend all night rocking back and forth in desperation again. Trouble is, you’ll never, ever, have the opportunity to serve God in your Wilderness again.
On that day, you will say, “I wish I could be in something terrible again so I could stick with God one more time. I bailed the last time and I regret that.” Know this: that doesn’t have to be you.
You are an overcomer. You are faithful and true. You do not bail on Jesus because He didn’t bail on you – and He could have! You will stick out your Wilderness experience, whatever that entails, and learn to depend on God for your needs. Don’t pitch a fit. Pitch your tent in His presence and be comforted.

WATERING THORNS
When trouble comes, look to Me. I Am your source, your shield and your Savior. Your identity comes from Me. Trouble doesn’t define you. I do.
WATERING THORNS
It is the plan of the enemy to cause negative or demonic episodes in your life. He wants those events to shape the rest of your life.
I see so many people who burn down their harvest field because something happened and they decide it’s a game-changer and they’re never going back to it.
They have years and years invested in this field, and the relationship goes bad, the job is lost, the kids rebel or the test comes back positive, and they draw a line in the sand and burn the field.
When you’re watering and feeding thorns instead of watering and feeding the Word of God within your life, you partner with the enemy. Instead, you should be partnering with the Holy Spirit because your identity doesn’t have to come from those terrible things. Your identity comes from the Lord.
He’s the One who gets to say who you are. That’s right, Jesus has a right to tell you who you are because He’s the one Who paid a terrible price for you.
The bottom line is this: you have to learn how to magnify the Lord instead of a crisis. Why? Because crisis is always going to come, sure as sparks fly upward. You can’t twist off. You have to be committed to the harvest.
But man is born unto trouble, As the sparks fly upward “But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.” – Job 5:7-9

CLAIM YOUR UPGRADE
You have not because you ask not. It’s true. Thinking so little of yourself, and often so little of Me and My intentions toward you, you don’t ask for the better thing I have for you. I see you. I know you. Truly I say to you, ask and you shall receive.
CLAIM YOUR UPGRADE
Although it’s cool, I don’t want to just say I’ve had a visitation from the Lord. I want to be a place of habitation for the Lord. The upgrade from visitation is habitation. That’s not something that just instantly happens.
Yes, it instantly happens with salvation, but once you’re saved, then you have to conform your life to being saved. There’s the battle. Do you recognize it? Some of us are willing to fight for more Jesus: more of His blessings, favor and more of His presence. Some of us are not.
Some of us are willing to fight sometimes. Others are willing to fight during a certain season, and because of that, there are varying degrees of the Kingdom in our lives. The Bible calls that 30, 60 and 100-fold Christianity. No matter where you are, there is a huge upgrade available to you.
Sometime back, Leanna and I were in a foreign country facing a 16-hour flight home. I was 150 larger back then and not looking forward to jamming my body into what seemed like an impossibly small seat. The Lord whispered to me that I should ask for an upgrade, so I did. Do you know what the airline reservation clerk said? “No problem.”
I’d been traveling the world for about 20 years and didn’t realize I had about 800 upgrades available because I’d never asked. Oh, the brother asks now – every time.
It’s the same with the Kingdom of God. How many unclaimed upgrades do you and I have out there? Moves of the Spirit that are right in front of us and we don’t have a clue because we’re living toward something different instead of living toward the thing God Almighty has for us.
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:3
Do you want to find your upgrade in the prophetic, in ministry, family, business, your marriage, your finances or your relationship with King Jesus? Things outside of your experience and your history? Things it’d take years for you to discover? Call out to God and He’ll just show it to you. Claim your upgrade. After all, it’s the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

DADDY’S FAVORITE
As My child, you don’t have to share My love or My attention. Both of these are limitless so I have enough for everyone. Know that you are My beloved child and My favorite. Come to the table and sup with Me. You know the way.
DADDY’S FAVORITE
Being blessed in your family is just like being blessed financially: you have to apply the kingdom. If you don’t, you’re not in for the long haul and you’ll never see the harvest.
When family falls into blessing, it falls into a category of “Kingdom.” Let’s unpack this.
When God was talking about the Kingdom of God, He was really talking about family. Remember, He says, “Our Father, who art in…” Oh wait, wait, wait! Jesus says approach God as if you are family?
Yes! Do not come to Him like you’re an orphan. Can I tell you something guys? If you come before the Lord as if you are an orphan, you will also be the bride of Christ as if you are a widow. OUCH!
A big part of the body of Christ – which is the bride of Christ – approaches the Kingdom as if they are widows when they’re not. Just like that, a big part of the body of Christ approaches God as if they are orphans. If they are saved, they are not.
You and I, my friend, are not widows or orphans. Jesus tells us to be bold – and comfortable enough with our place in the family – to sit down at the table and request our daily bread. “Give us this day…” Father God expects us to need it, so He’s ready to supply it.
Are you approaching your Father in Heaven as if you’re an orphan – undeserving of His love, attention, and provision? Stop it! Let Father God bless and favor you. He can only do that if you’re His child. What’s more – you’re Daddy’s favorite.
Therefore, you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God. – Galatians 4:7

REWARDING YOUR MESS
I Am not a God of punishment. I Am a God of blessing and reward. While your sin results in consequences, know I Am in the restoration business. Be restored and offer restoration over punishment to others.
REWARDING YOUR MESS
You already know life is messy – always. I’ll also tell you Jesus isn’t afraid of your mess. He actually likes jumping into the middle of it. There are two things He does to answer your mess and you’ll find them in the book of 1 Thessalonians.
First, Jesus consistently teaches you need a worldview that He is coming back again. There are so many things we think are final that are not final because Jesus is coming back and He’s going to fix them.
The idea that Jesus is coming back is a fundamental doctrine to the Body of Christ we can never let go of. Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and coming back soon. Do not give that up. It’s a worldview that says, “Jesus is King.”
What is your responsibility in this? To steward this mess because, when Jesus comes back, not only is He going to judge, He’s also going to reward. The Bible says He’s going to separate the goats from the sheep. That’s a game-changer so be a sheep.
Second, in a mess, operate in the basic principles of faith, hope, and love. This is how you dig in and fortify your position in the midst of a mess.
Faith is what you’re hearing God speak. “Faith comes by hearing…” Faith is what God is personally telling you about something because you are in relationship with Him.
Hope is when you begin to entertain the idea of it actually happening. It’s about bringing heaven to earth in the midst of the mess. Love is when you lay down your life to make sure it does happen and His will is done in you.
Jesus is coming back to make all things right and new. Until then, have faith. Share hope and love so He can more than bless your mess. He can reward you for it.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

APOCALYPSE – RIGHT NOW!
Being in My presence should be your joy, not your chore. If you’re forcing yourself to spend time with Me, stop. Be still and know that I Am God. I will fill you with a longing to know Me more.
APOCALYPSE – RIGHT NOW!
Our generation has completely destroyed the word “apocalypse.” To our generation, apocalypse means “the worst thing that can possibly happen.” It couldn’t be further from the truth.
The word “apocalypse” actually means “the unveiling,” “the revelation” or “tadaaaaa!” It’s that light bulb moment – the moment of clarity – the epiphany, the bombshell, or the lightning bolt. And with Jesus, it’s always, always personal.
You’ll be driving down the road and come across this billboard and then “Boom!” – this deep, amazing truth comes into your life through the simplest of means and it’s personal and exclusive to you.
You go to tell your family and it’s like looking at a deer in headlights. It was a revelation just for you. So there are a lot of things you and I experience in Jesus that we go through years of loneliness because we want so bad to share it with other people and we don’t know how to explain it.
You know what? Because of this, it’s very easy for us to mistake exclusiveness for loneliness. The Body of Christ has not done a very good job talking about the exclusive way you individually know Jesus.
Here’s what’s real: there’s a way Jesus makes sense to you and there’s a way Jesus reveals Himself to you and you reflect Jesus. How Jesus shows up to you sets a precedent in your life of how you walk with God and how you demonstrate Jesus.
This is normal Christianity. If you’re going to have a real relationship with Christ, you’re going to have to seek His presence, even when you’re driving down the road, so Jesus can download some revelation into your heart. That’s intimacy.
That’s an apocalypse, right now!
“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” – John 17:25-16

CHASING THE NEW THING
I heard the cries for help from the Hebrews in Egypt and delivered them. I hear your cries as well. Let me help you. Partner with me and we will do new things together.
CHASING THE NEW THING
There’s this incredible thing God does whenever you move from one place into a new place. He wants you to trust Him for “the new thing.”
The new thing may be a whole new way of living your life or a new way of thinking. It may be a new way to figure things out. Your new thing may be a whole new mindset and it may be a new way of hearing God speak.
When God moves us from one place into another, He expects us to recognize the change of scenery.
“Behold, I will do a new thing…shall ye not know it?” – Isaiah 43:19
It’s a really big deal for you to know God is doing a new thing, but are you willing
to sacrifice the old thing you know so well for the new thing? If you are, you have to lay down your life.
A good example is the Hebrews during and after the Exodus. Everybody who had lived in Egypt walked a walk that was about knowing God someday. Now that they’re free, they have to know God right now. They have to trust God right now.
Once they learned that, the rules changed. When they moved into the Promised Land, they had to have a vision again of “someday,” but they had to partner with God right now to see the someday come to pass.
Don’t be afraid of the new thing. Chase after it! Walk in God’s ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path, right to the Promised Land.

JUST DO IT!
I Am calling you to battle your past. Put your history to rest and go after your destiny. My Spirit is calling you to better and higher things. Go after them!
JUST DO IT!
What is an overcomer? The Greek word “nikao” gives some insight. It means “one who prevails, conquers and wins victory over one’s opponents.” Nikao also means “to surmount difficulties.”
Shoe giant Nike understood this when they named their company after the word nikao.
So when you and I say we’re overcomers, we are saying we strive to prevail and stomp on the difficulties that come our way. We strive to uproot, unhinge and displace the enemy wherever we encounter it.
As an overcomer, you should have a huge value for this: you should love it when God – not you – wins the victory and gets the credit. When you do this, you live dedicated to seeing heaven invade earth.
“Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world.” – 1 John 5:4
If you are born of God, overcoming is your only option! In 2 Samuel 23:20, Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, jumped down into a pit and took on a lion on a snowy day because he had no option to walk past it! He overcame that challenge and we are still talking about it 3,000 years later.
“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” – Romans 12:21
So God is inviting you, heck, He expects you to lace up your Nikes and get to work displacing evil with good, darkness with light. It’s your legacy to be an overcomer!

GOT DECENT DIRT?
I began your journey when I sowed My only Son. Reaping and sowing is all throughout My word. You will reap whatever you sow. Be generous as I have been generous. Bring in a harvest for My kingdom. The workers are few though your harvest will be great.
GOT DECENT DIRT?
The harvest only comes from victorious living, supernatural transformation and accomplished vision. Some also require a bit of answered prayer and a few dreams.
Remember, the harvest does not happen because you want it to. It happens when you set your mind that it’s going to happen – which means you don’t have to act like a victim. You are going to trust God and partner with Him.
If we truly believe this, we need to make sure God’s heart for our lives is top priority. The harvest is Jesus Christ ruling and reigning in a particular area of your life. What area, you ask?
If a farmer sows apple seeds, his harvest is apples. If he sows orange seeds, guess what? Oranges. What are you sowing? Are you distributing gossip and impatience to others while expecting a different result? Are you kind to strangers and even family?
If you need a friend, be one. If money is what you need, consider giving. You reap what you sow, as does the farmer, but first, he inspects the field – checks out the soil. He readies it for the seed – the word of God.
“Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” – Mark 4:3-8
Sowing and reaping isn’t easy. You can’t give up because something is hard. Imagine if David had given up at the sight of Goliath? Did Abraham quit when Ishmael was born? No, Sir! They had visions and dreams of something better. Do you? Are you content to simply get by in life, or do you want everything God has set aside for you?
To get a harvest, you need to get your hands dirty. What kind of soil are you sowing into?
