My righteous right hand is over you. My presence is your freedom to go forth. Though there is much darkness, there is more Light within you to show you the way. 

NO LONGER A SLAVE

The Promised Land is all about empowerment.

Empowerment is not when somebody gives you something. It’s when all the obstacles are removed so you can do something. The Wilderness it is not about empowerment, but in the Promised Land, Father God says, “Sic ’em, and I’ll back you up!”

Promised Land living is when you partner with God Almighty. You have to, and it comes with responsibility. If you see yourself as a victim, you will never take responsibility for how you think, act, feel, your broken relationships or finances.

You’ll say, “No, I’m not responsible for that.” You won’t do anything. 

But God says, “You are no longer a slave. You are my child. I love you, and we’re friends. We’re going to make this thing work, and we’re going to be awesome together.”

He’s fixing to show you the you you never knew was you!

The Lord says, “I’m about to put some armor on you and I’m about to point you to walled cities, 31 ungodly kings and terrible giants. I’m going to say, ‘Sic ’em!’ and you’re going to fight like a madman to take your ground.”

Jesus will give you plans and strategies. He will back you up and give you brilliant ideas when you learn to partner with Him.

Want to move out of your box? Looking to start a new ministry, open your own business or follow that dream you’ve had since you were a kid? Get into the presence of God. Trust Him fully and step out. He’s got your back!

THE POWER OF PENTECOST

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

It is time to declare the dry bones of your life to come to life! Give those places to Me and I will pour the rain of My harvest and saturate them until they overflow. 

THE POWER OF PENTECOST

There are three specific seasons where God Almighty said, “If you stop what you’re doing and seek My face three times within the year, there will be an open window of heaven.” Seasons in the Bible are all about prophetic appointed times. 

While we western Gentiles have been led to believe these seasons, marked by feasts, are Jewish property only, get this – they’re not!

There are three times God said we can find Him in a much more accelerated time than others: Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles. Today we’re going to focus in on Pentecost.

The Feast of Pentecost happens 50 days after the Feast of Passover which is at the time of the barley harvest. Also called the Festival of Weeks, Pentecost is celebrated during the wheat harvest. 

 “Celebrate the Festival of Weeks with the first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year…” – Exodus 34:22

Pentecost is all about the Spirit of the Living God in your life so you are infused by the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead. That’s what Pentecost is all about. If you’re somebody who doesn’t want to live a powerless life, you need a Pentecost harvest.

Break up the fallow ground in your life or ministry. Get committed and you’ll experience one Kingdom win after another until you have the harvest of empowerment that comes with Pentecost.

If you’ve never operated with of the gifts from the Holy Spirit, never seen miracles, never had a dream or vision, never seen somebody healed, never heard God speak in a radical way – my friend, if you want these things, you need a Feast of Pentecost harvest.

Go after it. Find the dead, dry places in your life or ministry and call that ground His. Break it up so you can sow and water seeds for the Lord of the Harvest. He wants to bring power to your life. How bad do you want it?

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO GO AFTER THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. GET READY FOR A FEAST OF PENTECOST HARVEST IN YOUR LIFE.

WRITTEN IN STONE

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I am the chief cornerstone. I paid the price you could not pay. Crucified, I rose the third day. I conquered death and the grave. My Love for you made a way! 

WRITTEN IN STONE

It’s amazing that God chose to communicate with His people through a written language, words – a book. Moses comes down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments – God’s Top Ten list for how to live right – carved in stone by the very finger of God Himself.

Do you understand what a big deal it is that this was written in stone – unchangeable, durable? 

God basically says, “OK, we’re going by the book – not by who the current leader is or how folks are feeling. We’re going to do this thing by the book.”

However, when Moses took those stone tablets down the mountain and found the people breaking every command and them some, he did something radical and prophetic. He threw the stones down and broke them.

Do you see it? The prophetic picture? The unchanging Word – Creator God Jesus – the rock of our salvation, would have to be broken for their lawlessness. 

The rules were not enough to save mankind and God knew it. So why did He carve the stones if He knew Moses would be forced to smash them? Because He was speaking to the people. Just like we do today, they needed the picture.

They needed hope. Although there were only 10 rules, the people soon realized not one of them could keep them. But a redeemer was coming. The Word would come to earth where He would be called Jesus because He would save His people from their sins.

Jesus would redefine the rules. He said, “Let’s cut it down to these two things: be madly in love with God and love your neighbor as yourself. If you can just do that, you can fulfill all the laws of the prophets.”

Love. It’s that simple. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us to show us love through His sacrifice. That’s why we call it the Good News!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.  – John 1:1, 14

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO UNDERSTAND YOU CAN’T GET TO HEAVEN BY FOLLOWING THE RULES OR CHECKING OFF THE BOXES. LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE AND TELL JESUS YOU TRUST IN HIS SACRIFICE.

SEVEN PART 2: THE NUMBER 7 & THE SPIRIT OF GOD

THE NUMBER SEVEN: The Spirit of God

This is the number that marks where God is doing something by His Spirit apart from any other source. It is the number that marks His rest and where He rules over all things created. Seven is perfection of Spirit. 

The book of Revelation points out that all of history is heading somewhere. Our 6,000-year history, or six days of man’s labor, leading into the millennial reign of Christ, is spelled out in this book. The seventh day of rest, or the millennial reign of Jesus, is where our hope lies. 

The book of Revelation, there are no less than 54 sevens. The number seven is seen over and over again in every part of every scene: the seven churches, seven spirits, seven stars in the hand of Jesus, seven angels, seven seals, seven trumpets, seven vials, seven beatitudes, seven new things, seven thunders, seven thousand killed, and the seventh angel declaring the mystery of God finished and “it is done.” THERE ARE ALSO SEVEN QUESTIONS IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION AND THAT’S A REVELATION IN ITSELF THAT MY FRIEND JAMIE GALLOWAY BROUGHT TO THIS HOUSE. Seven represents spiritual perfection. The book of Revelation is all about Jesus perfecting or completing things by His Spirit. So there is no way to tell that story without stamping sevens everywhere. 

In the original translations, t he phrase “Holy Spirit” shows up exactly seven times.

Holy Ghost refers to the third person of the God head. Holy Spirit refers to the supernatural way we partner and interface with Him: 

Psalm 51:11 – Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

DAVID ONLY HAD THE VISITATION OF THE SPIRIT. THAT’S WHY HE WAS AFRAID IT WOULD LEAVE. WE HAVE THE HABITATION OF THE SPIRIT. HE’S NOT A VISITOR. HE OWNS THE JOINT! The way we live with God. The way God lives with us. The luxury and benefits of being blessed with God’s company.

Isaiah 63:10 – But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.

Ephesians 4:30 – And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.


These two verses tell about the manifest presence of God and living in a compatible way with His presence:

1 Thessalonians 4:7-9 – For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. 8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. 9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

The honor of walking in the lifestyle of holiness is is a big deal to God. You prove your loyalty to God by walking in the spirit and pushing past every offense your flesh offers to the holiness of God.  

Ephesians 1:13 – In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

The spirit of promise is holy. The way God shows up and keeps His promises seals us or puts His holy mark upon us proving that we belong to Him; we are His possession.

Luke 11:13 – If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

The subject of Spiritual gifts. A desire to walk in the things of God and to ask knowing that He is willing and able to equip you in every way is a vital part of our partnership with Him. Supernatural ability to live a blessed life and to be a blessing come from the Father and is delivered in the context of the Holy Spirit.  

Seven is an important prophetic marker and measure to God 

There’s really no reason for the year to be divided up into seven-day increments that we call weeks. Why isn’t a week five days, 10 days or even 12, except for the fact that God set it up for us to pay attention to the seventh day from the very beginning? 

In the heavens there are also seven visible objects within our solar system: 

Moon, Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn 

The same God who designed the week also designed the heavens from our viewpoint for us to behold. 

In time, the days of the week changed from numbers to names that glorified the imagined gods of pagan civilizations. They were thought to sit on those dots of light in the midnight sky. Still, that doesn’t take away from the fact that it was the true and living God who declared human beings would live their lives with a perspective and awareness of seven. While six days be- long to hard work, labor, and the trouble men face, there has always been, from the very beginning, hope for the seventh day. God wants us to put our hope in Him. 

The first understanding that anyone ever had of God, after the fall of Adam, was that there was hope for rest on the day that God gave preeminence. That’s the basic standard for what seven represents. Seven is where the Spirit of God brings us hope and something to look forward to – something that was promised and even commanded. Seven represents something that would surely come to pass. It all has to do with the Spirit of God wrap- ping something up or perfecting it. 

• There are seven Natural Wonders of the World: Mt. Everest, Victoria Falls, The Grand Canyon, The Great Barrier Reef, The Northern Lights, Paricutin and the Harbor at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

• There are seven ancient seas: The Arctic and Antarctic, North and South Pacific, North and South Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. 

• The elevation of what is believed to be Golgotha or “Gordon’s Calvary,” named after the man who found it, is 777 feet above sea level. 

When God perfectly purifies Something by His Spirit, you see the number seven 

Leviticus 4:17 – And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the vail. 

When God perfectly sanctifies something, you see the number seven 

Leviticus 8:10-11 – And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them. 

When God perfectly forgives by His Spirit, you see the number seven 

Matthew 18:21-22 – Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Je- sus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, until seventy times seven. 

When God perfectly protects us by His Spirit, you see the number seven 

Deuteronomy 28:7 – The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. 

When God brings us perfect justice by His Spirit, you see the number seven 

1 Samuel 2:5  – They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. 

The number 77: A witness of or by God’s Spirit

Jesus is the 77th name from God in Luke’s genealogy at the
beginning of his book.The word “church” and the phrase “house of God” appear
exactly 77 times in Scripture.
Only the book of Psalms has more than seventy-seven chapters in the King James Version translation.Psalm 77 is one of several in the book of Psalms written by priests serving during the time of King David. Two verses in particular praise God’s character and his mighty power to help his people.Your way, O God, is in holiness; who is so great a God as our God? You are the God Who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the people (Psalm 77:13 – 14).I pray we are the perfect witness of His Spirit and His presence that 77 is supposed to be.

The Number 70 – Perfect order by His Spirit: 70 (7×10) 

Ten, as you will later learn, represents the language of “perfect order.” When you multiply seven by it, you get exactly what the numbers represent – perfect order by His Spirit. When you’re talking about God setting up order by His Spirit, you’re talking about “The Kingdom of God”. 

When God is shown as King throughout the Scriptures, the capitalized word “King” shows up 70 times. 

Seventy to populate the world 

The descendants of Shem, Ham and Japheth who repopulated the earth and restored the Kingdom are given to us in Genesis 10. These descendants add up to exactly 70 in number. 

Seventy to populate the nation of Israel 

Jacob’s clan, numbering 70 people, entered into Egypt. Their descendants were eventually made slaves to Pharaoh. 

There were 70 elders under Moses 

Exodus 24:1  – And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off. 

Jesus chose 70 other disciples 

Luke 10:1  – After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. 

Exodus 20, the chapter of the Bible where the Ten Commandments are first read, is the 70th chapter of the Bible. 

There is also the prophecy of Daniel’s 70 weeks, which he wrote while Israel was exiled in Babylon for 70 years. Also, in 70 A.D., Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans, and the Jewish people were scattered throughout the world. 

The Triple Whammy 777 

Noah’s dad, a man by the name of Lamech, represented the last generation before the flood. He lived exactly 777 years. 

Genesis 5:31 – And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died. 

God is preaching through the number seven, and the word that goes out has to do with that perfected by His Spirit.

STRENGTH IN UNITY

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Believers have two blood families; the one they’re born into and the one they’re born again into. Love them both with the Love of the Father that they may become one. 

STRENGTH IN UNITY

The twelve tribes of Israel have not always been unified. It’s an interesting study to know who fought who, and see tribes that are notorious knuckleheads like the tribe of Simeon. Hotheads who constantly made bad choices, they were a plague to the others.

Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. – Romans 16:17

Israel lost too many battles to foreign invaders because they were too busy fighting among themselves.

There have been toxic churches who, in the name of Jesus, have done horrible things, and have plagued the other tribes [churches]. That’s not us! 

Let’s make Kingdom choices and represent the goodness of God. Let’s love and help people. Let’s encourage people with a smile on our faces. Let’s never shame anybody because there’s no shame in Heaven.

Get away from the toxic environment of the mob spirit that says, “We’re going to turn against this person. We don’t like that person or what they’ve done.” That stuff has been in the church way too long. We lose when we’re divided. 

Want to win? Realize the devil is the enemy, not the church down the street. Refuse to join the gossip about your pastor or speak badly about the people in your church. Heck, refuse to speak badly about any pastor or any church! Serve together. Worship together. Represent Jesus first, then your church.

Yes, you can love your tribe and be loyal, but know this: we’re not everybody’s cup of tea. If your friend likes us, great. If they want to try First Big Church across town, encourage them. Be grateful for the folks who may not be of our tribe, but they follow the same King. 

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO DIAL IN ON THE TRUE ENEMY – SATAN. PRAY FOR THE CHURCH AND BUILD IT UP WITH YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS!

ENJOY THE MANNA!

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I am in you and you are in Me. Do you sense My presence? I am here. I see you and am with you wherever you go. I am the Bread of Life. Find your sustenance in Me. Wear My presence like a cloak and you can go anywhere!

ENJOY THE MANNA!

The Wilderness has some really cool lessons. Like the awesome thing that happened every day for 40 years after the Exodus – when God’s people wake up, there’s food on the ground. 

That would be a game-changer for me! The people would pick it up and eat it, but they were not allowed to gather two days worth, except for the day before the Sabbath. The lesson here? You don’t get to plan past the day in front of you when you’re learning to rely on God for your provision.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I am about the rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not…” – Exodus 16:4-5

Yup, there’s a stage you go through where God doesn’t let you make plans for the far-off future. You just have to learn to live within the day you’re in – with Him and yes, it’s a test!

To pass, you’re supposed to grow up and get past the “I just need to survive the day” stage. It doesn’t mean you’re weak if it takes a while. You get to move forward when you learn to value the presence of God more than you value the thing you had. 

That’s when the Spirit actually displaces the enemy within your life, and I love that. Once that enemy thought process, situation, relationship or habit is displaced, you cross another Jordan River and there’s your Promised Land!

Are you surviving in the Wilderness? A better day is coming for you! When you learn to let Him provide while you enjoy His presence, you’ll find yourself taking steps into places you never thought you’d go! For now, enjoy the manna!

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO LET JESUS DISPLACE SOME ENEMIES IN YOUR LIFE. HAVE A VALUE FOR GOD’S PRESENCE.

CHOOSE YOUR PARTNER

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Today is a day of choices…choose life! Choosing life means choosing those things that will help you to move forward. If you aren’t moving forward, then you’re moving back…

CHOOSE YOUR PARTNER

When the Lord tells us not to be unequally yoked, it’s not a polite suggestion. It’s a warning that what we’re partnering with is going to bring us dire consequences. 

A yoke is something that drives you. It’s a passion. I am a very self-driven person and cannot tolerate people who have to be goaded into action. Why? I’m not going to force anyone to do anything and I refuse to micromanage them. I can’t stand people who are not self-motivated and hate anything in my life that shuts down my motivation.

I really have to guard my heart against those things. For example, as a grown man, I have to keep myself out of sexually charged environments. These situations often have very dire consequences and I don’t want to lose my testimony. When things heat up, I just yell. ‘Leanna!” and I run. I literally run away!

If you’re not going to keep yourself out of sexually charged environments, who is? If you’re not going to stand for righteousness, who will? If you’re not going to buy girls out of sexual slavery, or feed hungry and homeless or give homes to orphans, who is? 

We’re to partner with things that move us forward, make us whole and turn our eyes and hearts toward Jesus. Anything less is an enemy waiting to devour us.

Remember, we’re supposed to be moving forward, constantly transforming and progressing into new and bigger Promised Lands. Being unequally yoked, sleeping with a Philistine – the enemy – or partnering with the wrong spirit will send us backward. We will be of alignment for our assignment and that means people we’re supposed to bring with us to heaven could get left behind.

“I will establish your borders … I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you. Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.” – Exodus 23:31-32

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO CHOOSE CAREFULLY THE ATTITUDES AND PEOPLE YOU PARTNER WITH. IF THEY’RE NOT PROPELLING YOU FORWARD, YOU NEED TO PROPEL THEM AWAY FROM YOU.

BREAKTHROUGH 6 – THE SPIRIT OF HALT

SPIRIT OF “HALT”

Giving up easily

1 Kings 18:21  – Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you HALT between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing. 

Philippians 1:6 – being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ 

God is a God of completion – the number seven. He’s all about finishing things, finishing well and fullness. 

BREAKTHROUGH IS ABOUT BIRTH (8: New Beginnings) 

Birth of nation,  birth of a company,  birth of a dream  

Revelation 12:1-4 (The Dragon and the Woman) – Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 

BREAKTHROUGH IS A MILITARY CONCEPT 

When one army is able to weaken its enemy’s forces to the point of collapse, a breakthrough occurs, allowing that army to invade and take its enemy’s territory.

We serve a God of conquest and that we are to be about conquest—advancing the true, authentic Kingdom of light into the illegitimate kingdom of darkness. 

Matthew 11:12 – …we know that since the days of John the baptist people of the kingdom take new territory through violence and by force 

BREAKTHROUGH IS OPPOSED BY POWERFUL FORCES 

Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 

Whether we’re battling for breakthrough against our own stubborn sin, the unbelief of a loved one or breakthrough in the advance of our local church, reaching the lost, rescuing persecuted believers, orphans, sex slaves, or the unborn, we are up against “spiritual hosts of wickedness or spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

We’ve already seen the dragon, or Leviathan Spirit, at work in the Spirit of Halt. Related to that is the Python Spirit. This is a spirit of witchcraft or false prophecy. (HOLD UP SHATTERING SPIRITUAL STRONGHOLDS PYTHON & LEVIATHAN BOOKS)

How does a Python Spirit bring halt? 

1. It Squeezes

It squeezes the life, breath, joy, strength, faith, vision and hope out of people. Many people who know Jesus “feel” this spirit. They feel like everything inside of them is being squeezed out. You will hear them say, “I can’t do it. It’s too hard,” or “Nothing seems to work no matter how hard I try.” 

2. It Silences

The Python Spirit seeks to silence the voice, prayers and praise of believers. It knows how powerful our declarations and decrees are. The last thing it wants is us, in one voice, declaring the promises of God. 

3. It Delays

It causes depression, anxiety, fear and hopelessness. Every battle we have begins in the spirit. We must start our warfare in the spirit to win the things in the natural. The spirit squeezes the spiritual life out of you to delay your triumphs in the natural.

I look at you and see increase; increased peace, joy, hope, love, blessings… abundance, overflowing for others to enjoy with you.

INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO

God is the richest person who ever lived. He doesn’t think like poor people think. He thinks like rich people think. So how do rich people think?

They think in terms of investments.

Your Father in Heaven, who is the most generous person ever, expects a return on His investment in you. Has the Lord invested in your life? He sure has. You need to look in the mirror and ask yourself these questions:

How many miracles has it taken for me to be living the life I’m living? 

How many people better than me never got to live the life I’m living?

What kind of price has God Almighty had to pay? 

And how many people before me had to pay the price for me to live the life I’m living?

Should there be a return on the investment in you? God sees things eternally and He says yes, there should be a return. That’s what the harvest is all about. God doesn’t just want your life to be fruitful. He wants your family and friends to be fruitful because of His investment in you and your investment in them.

This takes some labor on your part, but know this: God wants you to be in heaven, but He’s not looking for you to show up alone. Invest His love, His Word and your time in others and you will hear these words:

“The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’” – Matthew 25:23

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO INVEST IN OTHERS. SHOW THEM HOW JESUS HAS WORKED IN YOUR LIFE AND WATCH THE FRUIT PORTFOLIO GROW!
