Should You Write A Min-e-BookTM?

Are you a writer who prefers to be succinct? Are you interested in helping others improve their lives? Are you an expert who would like to see your name in print? Well, we've got news for you!
The min-e-bookTM is a wonderful platform for establishing credibility in any field. If you can write 15,000 words, you can do it!
A min-e-bookTM, or mini e-book, is a shorter style e-book on any nonfiction topic designed for a quick read. It's a great style for books in the spiritual healing or personal growth categories because the sooner someone reads the book, the sooner they can start working on improving their lives!
Min-e-booksTM are only published digitally. This cuts down on printing costs and waste. It's a very green way to publish. And since they are shorter, they bear a lower price point. This means they are a low-risk investment for book buyers, and makes them great sellers on major retail websites like Amazon. "Raise Your Vibration: Tips and Tools for a High-Frequency Life" by Caroline A. Shearer is a perpetual Top Ten Mental and Spiritual Healing Bestseller! For a full listing of min-e-booksTM from Absolute Love Publishing, please visit www.min-e-book.com.
No matter what your field of expertise is, becoming a published author enhances your credibility and your authority. It also shows your audience that you are versatile and multi-talented. It will earn you more attention and more website traffic. It gives you credentials, and others will want to interview you about your insights and wisdom.
So, maybe you don't consider yourself a writer? That's okay! Spirited Press is here to help! We offer author packages that will guide you through every step of the publishing process. If you have an idea, but are having a hard time gaining traction, our writing coaches can talk you through it. We also have packages for editing, marketing, and book design for those of you further along with your project.
Attract the attention you've always desired by becoming a published author!

Raise Your Vibration This Week with Music by Len

This week on Raise Your Vibration Radio:

"Steal My Sunshine" by Len

The lyrics to this song are a little bizarre, so you can take what you want from most of them. However, there is one line that particularly stands out as a lesson in the Law of Attraction.

"Of course you can't become if you only say what you would have done"

The singer is right. There is no room in life for "would-a, could-a, should-a." We can only change our futures. Set an intention this week. If you find yourself thinking about the past, or wandering into a negative mindset, stop. Then re-focus. Think of something positive you would like to attract into your life, and spend your time manifesting instead. Remember, only you have control of your own life, your own sunshine, your own destiny.

Do You Need a Writing Coach?

When we dedicate ourselves to a multitude of responsibilities and tasks, it can be hard to get enough "me" time. For writers, this is particularly dreadful because we often need that time to nurture our creativity.
Meditation can be a great way to build plot, develop characters, and strengthen our inner voice so that it shines throughout our written narratives. But sometimes, we need help from outside sources too.
There is a real value in talking ideas through with an objective party. When we talk to those who we already know, we sometimes restrict ourselves in fear they will judge us. Or, maybe we think too much about how they would feel about the material.
If you find that this happens to you, consider hiring a writing coach. Coaching services from Spirited Press can help you:
- Identify and prioritize goals- Gain traction to moving a project forward- Become a more joy-filled and productive writer- Overcome bumps in your story line or writing structure- And More!
The publishing process is one guided by collaboration and creativity. It is a difficult undertaking when attempted alone. The surest way to being successful is knowing when to ask for help from others.
If you're ready for a writing coach, shop Spirited Press Coaching Services today! If you're interested in other author services in areas like Editing or Marketing, learn more at the Spirited Press webpage.

Amethyst Wyldfyre Saves the World!

"The feminine qualities that will save the world originate in the heart." -- Amethyst Wyldfyre, Women Will Save the World.

Amethyst Wyldfyre is a multidimensional visionary, transformational spiritual leader, and host of the international radio show, "Blazing Forth the Light."

In her essay in "Women Will Save the World," Amethyst celebrates feeling over thinking. She believes there is an imbalance of feminine and masculine energies in the world, and we must rectify this imbalance-- in the world, in ourselves-- before we can truly heal. She shares her own journey with healing, a process that took over two years. Amethyst teaches us not to be afraid to "delve into the dark" and resurface with knowing our deepest desires. Only then can we pursue the goals that are in line with our highest and greatest good.

How to Hire an Editor

If you've recently finished a book, you are probably itching to share it with the world. You have read and re-read your own words so often, you can recite them, and you would really like another human being to bask in the glory of your creation.
While it is possible to self-publish in a very short amount of time-- with some programs, it is as simple as uploading a file to a website-- you should consider hiring an editor before you hit that button. Self-publishing is not a task that should be undertaken by yourself. While the modern writer does tend to wear a lot of different hats, publishing is a process and should be handled with the help of a few well-chosen professionals
There are different types of editors out there, and their services vary in price. First, you want someone who can help you with the content of the piece. You can worry about line editing and proofreading later on in the process. You want someone who is going to help you develop your voice, as voice is the heart of any form of writing.
This individual must be pretty special, as they will be trusted with a very delicate object. So, do your research. Get an idea of what editors out there are charging for their services. If someone comes in much lower or higher than average, you will know that is probably not a good sign. But price is really not as important as credibility.
Pick a few editors that have worked on projects similar to yours, and follow them. On social media, of course. Otherwise, it could get a little awkward. Check to see if they've written blog posts on credible outlets. Read the works they have edited. Get a feel of who they are and what they have to offer.
Once you have settled on one or two, get in touch. Meeting in person is ideal, but not always possible. At best, you can have a conversation on the phone. See how your energies mesh. It will be obvious if you two are a good fit. And don't be afraid to ask for a sample. Give them a test piece of your work and see how they do. Ask questions, and press for ideas.
The right editor can take your work from being something that is great to something that is world-changing. It just takes some time and a little bit of chemistry.

Gayle Newhouse Saves the World!

"It is the intuitive nature of all women that will guide the coming century." -- Gayle Newhouse, Women Will Save the World

These are prophetic words and very relevant as many of us feel the world will see a shift, this year particularly. For a very long time, the world has been dominated by the masculine nature. For many, it is time for a change.

Gayle Newhouse, co-producer of the inspirational film "Tapping the Source," writes about her experiences with feminine intuition, starting at the very young age of five. Gayle is a healer who believes in the power of the inner voice, or what she calls The Secret Place of the Most High. According to Gayle, true femininity is not about acting like men, or trying to be better than them. Instead, she advises "staying in a state of love." This involves acknowledging and accepting femininity in all its forms, including intuition and inner wisdom.

Although Gayle met with struggles in life, she also stayed true to her women's intuition, and it guided her to profound happiness and success.

Read more about Gayle -- and how you too can save the world -- in Caroline A. Shearer's book "Women Will Save the World." Get your copy today!

Fight the Writing Blues!

Winter isn't the easiest time of the year. The days are shorter, the temperature drops, the sun makes itself scarce. We tend to want to eat more, sleep more, and pass the time with movies and board games, waiting until Spring comes and the world sees a wondrous rebirth.
While not everyone feels the seasonal depression that seems common these days, chances are many of us have endured a bout with the winter blues. For writers, these times may be particularly difficult, as creation requires a high output of positive energy. Stave off your blocks (emotional and otherwise) this season with a few easy techniques.
Go for a walk. Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean we should forget about the awesomeness of Mother Nature. Some places have beautiful snowy landscapes. In warmer climes, there are flowers that bloom only during the winter season. So, throw on a jacket, or in some cases snow shoes, and take a gander.
Spend time in your happy place. So it's the sun you're missing? Take a few minutes and picture yourself standing under the warmest, brightest sunbeam. Surround yourself with light and warmth in your mind and you will feel happier and more energized. Or maybe it's the greenness of the trees you are longing for? Do the same with that. Surround your mind's eye with luscious, beautiful, blooming green. If there is something about a physical place that is bothering you, you have the power to mentally remove yourself from it for a time.
Take a bath. Soak yourself with sea salts and essential oils. The scent of grapefruit is particularly prone to lifting spirits. Give your soul some quiet time. Let your mind free. Breathe deeply. Don't you feel relaxed already just thinking about it?
Clear your space. De-cluttering our work space is the best way to de-clutter our minds. If you feel piled up with a lot of junk in your office, clear it out! This will make your Spring Cleaning that much lighter.
Listen to upbeat music. If you're trying to avoid the winter blues, you probably don't want to be listening to it in music form. Fill your playlist with songs that make you want to get up and dance. If you need inspiration, check out our weekly blog feature, Raise Your Vibration Radio
Happy writers create good content. Stay a happy writer this season. You deserve it.
