Story Whisperers or Tricky, Magical Minds? You Decide!

Judith is
the author of The Sacred Women’s Circle series, romantic fiction that honors
spiritual practices that nourish the soul and celebrates the journey from
relationship to romance.

Where
do the Blog Queens come up with these ideas?

It is the month of All
Hallow’s Eve aka Hall-O-Ween or Samhain (Saw-wen) in the pagan tradition.

This month I’m embellishing upon our theme and talking

LEMONS OR LEMONADE? by Michelle Somers

Which would you choose?

Let’s travel back in time for a moment. Way back to the 80s, Kenny
Rogers and that catchy country-sounding song titled The Gambler.

Remember these lyrics?

These words rushed back to me today as I sat down to write. Representative
of so much more than gambling, they gave me a moments' pause. I’ve been
reflecting on life quite a bit lately. My own, my family’s

Time of the Season...Or Dated

By Robin Weaver

This month’s theme, “It’s the Time of the Season for Loving,”
immediately made me think of the Zombies. For all you Millennials, I don’t mean
the Walking Dead creatures, I mean the 60’s British Rock group.

Granted, by the time I discovered Time of the Season and She’s
Not There the Zombies were already considered “oldies,” but does good music
ever go out of style?

Starting The Fall Season In London

by Michelle Monkou

Home Away From Home

Life comes at you fast. This year, my life seems to follow that sentiment as it zooms by on jet packs.

As the Fall season rolls in with much bluster and its crisp mornings, I had the pleasure of sitting at a London café enjoying a latte. I’m here in my birthplace supporting my daughter’s bid to get her master’s. My stay is a brief one, but I’m making

The First Treat of October by Paty Jager

I love October! It's when the leaves turn color, the air becomes brisker, and animals start putting on their thick winter coats. Have you ever noticed that when the animals have their winter coats they look  more like their stuffed animal selves? Cuddly and adorable.

Besides the change in weather and animals, the next first treat I have for you is my newest release. The first book of a new

S.J. Crabb's The Devil's Children

I started writing in 2015 and have- to date
written 17 Romance Novels.

I like to switch between genres which makes for
a very messy looking Amazon Author page.

I started writing The Devil’s Children
and found that I couldn’t stop. I have always been fascinated by High School
stories and it always seems so much more exciting than the UK system. I wanted
a typical bad boy and decided to

This Is My Circus and These Are My Monkeys...

aka Balancing Writing With Having a Life

Have you ever felt completely discombobulated and out of whack with competing the demands of your writing and family life? Welcome to my world! I’m a writer, a freelance corporate communications specialist, wife to a jack of all trades type of bloke, and mother to two active (you might even say hyperactive) little boys who are constantly climbing trees

Back to School for Writers!

by M. L. Buchman

What is it about the Fall? Last year my fall was psychotically busy! I mean I seriously considered sleeping...at least once or twice...I'm sure I did. I just don't remember doing it. So, I firmly vowed, never again... Guess what?

You would think that by this time in my career (over 50 novels and as many short stories), that I'd know some things. Yet, here it is, Fall, and I'm

BOOK VILLAIN VERSUS SERIES VILLAIN by Sarah Raplee

BOOK 1 PSYCHIC AGENTS

Hi, I'm Sarah Raplee, author of surprising, heart-stopping paranormal romantic suspense.

I just had an
epiphany that I want to shout from the rooftops! In order to write an ongoing
paranormal romance series, think like your villain. Your series villain, not
your book villain (unless they are one and the same, which mine aren’t.)

In my first
Psychic Agents

Scent of the season

by Courtney Pierce

As I occasionally do, this
month I’m giving our Romancing the Genres
readers a piece from my collection of two-page stories. When I complete a
hundred of them, I’ll publish these little ditties in a collection titled Is There an App for Life’s Third Act? – Short
Stories for Baby Boomers in a Hurry. Yep, the title is excessive for
extra-short stories, but that’s by design. As
