Putting A Little of Yourself into Each Book
By
Delsora Lowe
Ever wonder where writer’s ideas come from?
So do I! I
am what is known as a pantser or organic
writer. So most of the time I get a kernel of an idea—a character, a setting,
or a scene playing out in my head—and I start writing. I never know where that
idea will take me.
My newest hero, Sam, was established as a secondary
character in The Legacy of Parkers Point, book

A Different Take: A Kiss for Solstice by Elizabeth Allyn Dean
Solstice is important to Alaskans--we notice the difference in daylight as it swings from summer to winter, and many of us celebrate Winter Solstice as a separate holiday. So just to give a different take on the holiday romance, I introduce A Kiss for Solstice by my friend Elizabeth Allyn Dean.
Her kiss brought him back from the dead…Dax Rand has a knack for finding trouble, and this time

Christmas Time Was Mom's One-Woman Bake Off Show
by Michelle Monkou
Christmas is coming.
And so is Santa.
Gifts, including books, would be part of the day.
Freshly baked cakes and other desserts were always on the way.
That was my Christmas as a child growing up in a home full of love and the good fortune to have these material things. My (maternal) grandmother was the baking queen of the house and when she died, my mother wore the crown

Enjoy these Christmas Reads
This month is about holiday romance reads and to be honest with you, I haven't had time to read a new holiday story. I've been on a deadline to get a book written and haven't had time to read for pleasure.
I do have author friends with holiday books out, but I've not read them. I do know these ladies write terrific books so I'm confident in sharing them with you.
You can't miss with a book

Ring in the holidays with Loving You At Christmas by Kristin Wallace
I'm lucky enough to get a special "guest post" so I can talk about my upcoming Christmas story, which will be available this TUESDAY!!
LOVING YOU AT CHRISTMAS is part of my Shellwater Key Tales series. In fact, it's the final book in the series. Actually, the last book (appropriately called Last Stop At Paradise) was supposed to be the final book, but it turns out I needed to write a holiday

‘SLIP INSIDE MY MIND’, SAID THE CHARACTER TO THEIR CREATOR by Michelle Somers
There are so many things to love about being a writer.
For me, one in particular stands out. Analyzing
people. I love delving into the why’s and wherefore’s. Who are they? Where have
they come from? Why do they do what they do? All in the name of research, of
course. Legitimate people watching.
There are even times I turn that analysis onto
myself.

Spinning a Holiday Classic
By Robin Weaver
I know Lowes and Walmart have had Christmas decorations out for days (as I'm writing
this, it's not even Halloween), but that doesn't mean I'm in the mood for a
holiday romance. Since I haven't read anything (sigh), I don't have anything to
recommend.
But fear not, I've decided to put a spin on a classic, It's a Wonderful
Life—truly one of the all-time greats. Only as
