St Nick and ZebraMinds
Most of my new news revolves around my book A St. Nicholas Story: The Fiercest Little Animal In The Forest. First of all, it has been translated into Dutch! And it will be translated into German, possibly Spanish and possibly French. I have no idea how well those will sell, but if our translators (friends or friends of friends) are willing to do the work for homemade pickles, several complimentary copies of the book and the sheer ecstasy of having their name in print, WELL THEN. No reason not to, especially since it's self-published & print-on-demand. And it is more of a European version of St Nicholas, anyway. These translations should definitely be out in time for the holidays.
The next book I wanna have out is wordless... and therefore universal. As long as you have eyes to see it!
Back to St Nick - it will also soon be available on the Android phone, iPhones and iPads as an application. It will be the first available product/prototype from ZebraMinds, an emerging company that develops learning games for children on mobile devices. Therefore, it's not just a static book, either. There will be coloring pages, a puzzle and other interactive elements to it. The book is also narrated, by yours humbly.
