Can Your Heart Stand the Shocking Facts? by Dr. Brentwood Masterling, M.F.A., D.V.M., Ph. D.: A Deep Dive into an American Masterpiece, Edward D. Wood, Jr.'s Plan 9 from Outer Space:
"I've never been into "Plan 9 from Outer Space." I saw it once, and that was enough for me.
However, "Can Your Heart Stand the Shocking Facts?" is still a lot of fun and made me laugh. It is not just the ineptitude of "Plan 9" but also a send up of mov" Read more of this review » |

"This is a short but very amusing parody of film criticism using Plan 9 From Outer Space, one of the great and undisputed classics of American cinema, as a launch board. Kimmel adopts the persona of Dr. Brentwood Masterling, M.F.A., D.V.M., Ph.D., who"

From the silent era to "Cats" (2019), Robey takes us behind the scenes of some of the biggest flops in Hollywood history. He notes that some of them are worth seeing while others are out and out disasters. I'd seen nearly all of them and don't agree ...more | |

and, damn dude, how many books have you written?
stop slacking off, will you?
; )

It means giving up your freedom of choice. I can still see what movies I want to see, but it's been a long time since I've had much control over having to watch the movies I don't want to see. Shlock horror, kiddie films, movies with Adam Sandler or Rob Schneider, I pretty much see almost everything. (Stuff does slip through the cracks, but only because I'm not reviewing it.)
