LA Times says ebook sales nearly doubled last year
There were over 3 billion ebook sales last year alone according to an article in the LA Times. This is a 44.2% increase over the year before that. The total revenue in the U.S. alone amounted to $3.04 billion. What a wonderful time to be an ebook author right now.
What is surprising is that trade book sales rose 6.9% from the previous year which makes me think that people are indeed buying books no matter what format they may choose to buy it. I have a vested interest in books but in ebooks in...

{Blog Tour} Greg Messel returns with mystery/historical romance ‘San Francisco Secrets’ in June

I am so thrilled to have Greg return for his fifth virtual book tour in June. After you’ve worked with someone this long, the working relationship gets to the point where it either flows or it doesn’t. With Greg, it flows like a mountain stream. I’m so in love with this book cover. Over all the books he’s had on tour, this one is my definite favorite. Anyway, Greg is touring June 3 – 28 and if you’d like to follow his tour, click the banner above. I know he will so appreciate it!
Are young adult books hot? Barnes & Noble seems to think so.

I just got home from a wonderful day out with my daughter. One of the stops along the way was at Barnes & Noble in Salisbury, Maryland. It is one of the few standing B&Ns in the country and I hope it stays right where it is. No matter how much I love the Internet and I buy a lot of books at Amazon, there’s nothing like walking into a B&N and getting a cup of Starbucks coffee while you roam the aisles.

Update on moi

Well so much for keeping this blog updated. ;o(
I had a health issue that’s totally resolved and I’m feeling great and can eat stuff I couldn’t eat before. Feels like Christmas, your birthday and the first time you lay eyes on your brand new book cover all rolled into one.
I had my gall bladder removed. Everyone was telling me two days and you’re about back to normal. Not. Not on your life. It’s been a little over 2 weeks and I still feel it but I’m so much better. I had my first french fry...
