He Wore It First
The Styles section is the worst, most consistently insane section of the NY Times besides the Real Estate section. But here they have gone above and beyond, asking the question nobody has ever asked: "Want to look like a dad without being one?“ And then providing the insane answer: "Shop these vintage looks,” including $300 pleated khakis.
I don’t understand fashion, but is that what fashion is now: trying to look like you don’t understand fashion? It’s easier (and cheaper) to just not understand fashion!
Man Ya!
Daughter asked me to read her favorite manga while she’s up at her grandparents. And I just realized that I wasn’t 100% sure that I was pronouncing “manga” right. I’m pronouncing it MAHN-GAH, though I think about half the time I screw up and say “MAHN-JA” because of a perfectly mediocre sandwich place in Manhattan: “Mangia.” When I share my opinions with her group of friends, I’ll probably put on an embarrassing Italian accent for fun.
This is a classic example of a word that I will probably always think I’m getting wrong, no matter how many times I learn it. What are some others?

To the mom yelled for her kid across the quiet campground and then apologized for yelling and then did it again right after apologizing
You don’t understand why people apologize. Apologies are only appropriate if you recognize the error in your ways. If you are just going to do it again, might as well say “Screw you, strap in.”
Move closer to your kid, that way they will hear you.

I feel like this picture of a road really sums up the journey of life or something. But mainly I chose it because my book is only $3 on Kindle right now.
How to Talk to People about Your Baby When They Don't Want to Anymore
The hilarious Mommy Shorts (whose book is also really funny) posted an excerpt of my book! Check it out.

FATHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE
This Father’s...

FATHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE
This Father’s Day, find the perfect gift for YOUR dad with my perfect gift guide! What kind of dad do you have? There’s a perfect gift for every dad!
GADGET DAD
Is your dad a tech-whiz who always has to have the latest gadget? Does he have a Roku? He does? What about a Universal Remote? Yeah, those are tricky. Uh huh, mine doesn’t work that well either. A Grill Light? A Roomba? A Kindle? I’d probably get him a Gift Card then.
KITCHEN DAD
Does your dad love to cook? Well then, he’ll love this Meat Thermometer! Too cheap? Try this Cook Set. He has that? That exact one? You think so, but aren’t sure. Maybe a Gift Card.
SPORTS DAD
For the sporty dad who likes to get his sport on, why not try these Golf Balls? What kind of sports is he into then? Does he run? Because if he does, he would probably love this Heart Rate Monitor. You’re not sure? How many times do you talk to your dad? You should call him more often. But for now, how about a Gift Card?
BOOKWORM DAD
This one looks good. Or does he like history? What DO you know about him? Is he into business? Okay, good! He goes to an office. That’s super helpful. What does he do there? Uh huh. He’s a “manager of something?” This book is about management. I know, it’s kind of a risk. Yeah, I’d probably go with a Gift Card.
A Gift Card is truly a wonderful gift for any kind of wonderful dad!
Still a great guide for that special dad!
If you refuse to buy my book for Father’s Day, I have you covered!
