Which way is up?

Seriously, that is about where my brains are right now.

It was a busy weekend. If you follow my Tweets, you know I was at the Disney Princess Expo on Friday, volunteering. (I didn’t do the Disney Royal Family 5K this year because I blew out my knees training for a different 5K.) So, for SEVEN HOURS, I was on my feet, talking to people, handing out shirts, answering questions and basically having a BLAST.

An exhausting blast.

Saturday, I got up early and went to Weight Watchers, then came home an...

Audio books???

Just when I think it can’t get any better, someone shows me it can.

I found out tonight that Carnal Machines is now available as an audio book through Audible.com.

carnalmachinesThis wonderful book includes The Succubus, which was the reason DL King actually PITCHED this anthology (true story — I sent Succubus to her for her anthology Spank, and she sent back a lovely rejection saying “I love this. It isn’t right for this anthology, but I really love it. Would you mind if I pitched an anthology to my publish...

The Marketplace has fans all over the world, and Antoniou invited them to come play in her fictional sandbox/dungeon. 2012 in review, and 2013 plans.

I posted this to Facebook a few hours ago:

“Hello, is this 2013? Yes, I’m happy to say that we’ve had an opening, and we’re going to be offering you a contract, if you’re available to start immediately. Oh, good. Thank you, and welcome aboard.

“What? Oh, the previous contractor? Well, I shouldn’t say this, but he had to be let go. Perhaps… fired with extreme prejudice is a better way of putting it.

“I’m sure we won’t have the same issues with YOU!”

In a nutshell? 2012 sucked rocks on a personal l...

The Shortest Day

The Shortest Day

By Susan Cooper

And so the Shortest Day came and the year died

And everywhere down the centuries of the snow-white world

Came people singing, dancing,

To drive the dark away.

They lighted candles in the winter trees;

They hung their homes with evergreen;

They burned beseeching fires all night long

To keep the year alive.

And when the new year’s sunshine blazed awake

They shouted, revelling.

Through all the frosty ages you can hear them

Echoing behind us – listen!

All the long echoes, sing...

A new review!

A new review, and the first review for Like a Cunning Plan… and the reviewer though that Fools Rush In was the best story in the anthology!

“My absolute favorite wasFools Rush Inby Elizabeth Schecter. What a fantastical story! The author gives us a glimpse inside the mind of a thief trying to prove something. First that the impossible can be done and second that he is in control. My thoughts are still reeling from this story. It featured my the hottest sex scenes in my opinion. This story alon...
