Island of the Sequined Love Nun by Chris Moore
This book was released several years ago (2006) and is a typical Chris Moore novel filled with zany characters. It tells an excellent story. Disgraced, jobless and broke, he accepts a strange job offer to fly for a missionary doctor on a tiny island in the South Pacific, but he misses his connecting boat to the island from Truk. A...

Vacation picture
I just came back from a family vacation in Bermuda. Clean beaches, free[image error] beaches, good grub, a great time. This is the best picture I took. It's the sunset over the Royal Dockyard on the western tip of the island.

In between these two hazards, the riders must negotiate the heavily populated urban landscape of...

He buries the bones of the dead from both sides and the enemy in that battle gives him a gift of 250 prized horses. In his country, folks would cheerfully kill him to steal the horse. The impact of 250 of the horses is unimaginable. Suddenly, powerful people are anxious to meet him while...
