Hell Squad: Levi

Release Date: Tuesday January 30th

Cover art by the awesome Melody Simmons

Excerpt from Hell Squad: Ash featuring Levi and Chrissy

Shit. Levi strode down the corridor leading away from the infirmary. Seeing his friend so torn up had left him feeling shaken. He was glad as hell that Marin was going to be okay.

That meant Ash was going to be okay, too.

There was no better man than Ash Connors. The guy deserved love, a pretty woman, a sweet, easy life. He deserved it all.

God, it was something else to see his best buddy in love with a woman. Levi wouldn’t have picked Marin for Ash, but he’d have been wrong. She really suited him. Opened up things in Ash that he’d ignored or kept choked off for a long time.

Levi stopped and leaned against the wall. Thankfully, the corridor was empty.

Levi had been married once. He’d made the tragic error of mistaking hot sex with a gorgeous biker babe for…more. Tiffany had been fun, and they’d burned up the sheets. Things had been sweet for a while.

Then things had gotten tough at the Iron Kings, and Levi had needed to focus on pulling the club over from the wrong fucking side of the law.

She’d resented the time he’d devoted to his club, had been jealous of Ash and his other brothers. She’d started plowing through his money, partying all the damn time, and then she’d started snorting shit up her nose.

God, the bitch had gotten nasty after that, and the fact that Levi had a temper and not a whole lot of patience for bullshit hadn’t helped. He’d put up with her far longer than he should have…until all her scratching and snarling had made him hate her.

With a shake of his head, he headed down the tunnel. It had been a full-on day, and he didn’t need to add the shit from the past to it. He needed a drink and something to take his mind off things.

He rounded the corner and slammed into someone heading the opposite direction.

Someone with auburn-red hair.

Chrissy stepped back and rolled her eyes. “You’re like a bad smell.”

“Not in the mood, Spitfire.”

Her gaze skated over him, taking in his blood-stained, gore-splattered fatigues. Her face changed. “You were fighting the raptors. Are you okay?”

“I’m alive. Nothing a drink and a blow job won’t fix.”

Her mouth turned pinched. “You’re such an asshole.”

God, that sassy mouth of hers tempted him. His gaze dropped to her full lips. She had some sort of gloss on them, a faint pink color. All too easily, he could picture that mouth on his cock, her pretty lips stretched wide. She wouldn’t get on her knees. She’d be above him, swallowing him deep, and letting him taste that pretty, little—

“Hey.” She snapped her fingers in front of his face. “You in there, biker man?”

He blinked. “Yeah.”

“You might want to shower before you proposition a woman to suck your cock. You really don’t smell so good.”

He arched a brow, his gut going tight. “You volunteering?”

She made a big show of looking both directions up and down the corridor.

“What are you looking for?” he asked.

“Nope. No flying pigs today.” She smiled sweetly. “Guess you’re out of luck. Sorry.”

“I see the way you look at me, Spitfire.” He stepped closer, expecting her to step back.

But Chrissy didn’t back up. She held her ground until they were pressed together.

“I look at lots of things that I know aren’t good for me,” she said. “But I have this funny thing called self-control.”

He touched a strand of her auburn hair. It was soft and shiny. “I’ll give you a ride you won’t forget.”

“God, you are a grade-A asshole. Sorry, I like a little civilized wooing before I drop my panties.”

The thought of her shimmying her panties down her long legs had his cock surging against his trousers. He leaned down. “I bet I could have you begging for my cock in just a few minutes.”

Something flashed through her eyes. Then she shocked him by reaching out and grabbing his cock through his trousers.

Shit. Levi swallowed a groan. Instantly, he hardened.

She fondled him, then tilted her head. “Nope. I don’t think this is worth begging for.” She released him and stepped back. “Besides, I’ve had a better offer.”

Levi narrowed his gaze. He rarely chased a woman. He had no need to. But something about this one set him aflame.

Suddenly, a small voice spoke from behind him. “Hey, Chrissy. You ready?”

Levi looked over his shoulder and saw a young boy watching them, curiosity in his eyes.

“Hey, Max.” Chrissy hurried over to the boy and leaned down to give him a hug. “You okay after the attack?”

He nodded. “It was scary. Ruby, my foster sister, cried, but I didn’t. I was brave and gave her a cuddle.”

Chrissy stood, sliding an arm around him. “I’m proud of you. It’s normal to be afraid, but to help someone else, that’s being a true hero.” Her gaze met Levi’s over the boy’s head.

Max looked at Levi, his gaze dropping to Levi’s tattoos. “You’re a berserker.”

“Yeah.” Levi lifted his chin.

“I saw the berserkers fighting when Chrissy and me were rescued from the aliens.”

Chrissy shifted. “Max, remember that it’s—”

“Chrissy and I,” the boy said with exaggerated patience. He looked up at the woman. “She kept me safe, and I kept her safe.”

She squeezed the boy. “We sure did.”

“The berserkers are heroes, too.”

A poorly-hidden grimace crossed Chrissy’s face. “All the squads are heroes. Come on, let’s go get that ice cream I promised you.”

She turned the boy and they headed down the corridor. She didn’t look back at Levi.

Levi blew out a breath. He really needed that drink. As for the blow job…it appeared that there was only one set of lips that he wanted, now.

And one specific shade of hair that he wanted spread out on his pillow.

Rogue

Release Date: November 28th

Cover art by the awesome Melody Simmons

Excerpt from Beast featuring Zhim and Ryan, and Corsair and Neve

Ryan tapped on the small screen, her fingers flying. She was flat on her belly in the grass, under some small trees. The control panel that Neve knew of was set into the ground, and had been hidden under a rock.

“Everything’s turned around.” Ryan muttered a curse, trying to work out this strange system. It was like nothing she’d seen before.

“Keep trying,” Corsair said. He and Neve were standing above her, both of them continuously scanning their surroundings for any unwelcome guests. “Your friends’ lives depend on it.”

Ryan snorted. “Wow, thanks for the pep talk.”

The man’s brow creased. “Pep?”

Neve shook her head. “She means that you’re an idiot.”

Corsair stiffened. “I’ve punished people for far less than that insult.”

Neve lifted her chin, her hands tightening on her staff. “Try it, pirate.”

“I am not a pirate. I’m a caravan master.” Another wide, white smile. “You can call me master.”

“In your dreams.”

“Can you guys knock it off?” Ryan grumbled. She hit on something and the screen filled with symbols. “Yes! I got through the system to the Srinar part of it. They’re piggybacking on the existing system in this old ship. The Srinar system, I’m familiar with.” She tapped some more, and images appeared on the small screen.

Neve leaned over her shoulder. “Oh, good, you’ve got the camera feed up. We can see the others.” Then her voice changed. “Uh, oh, they’ve got company.”

Ryan’s stomach did a slow turn. The others were being attacked by bees. Giant freaking bees.

“Get the Srinar cameras shut down, and that door open,” Corsair said.

“I’m trying.” Ryan’s fingers flew over the screen. She shut out the sounds of the angry bees and the shouts of the gladiators.

Suddenly the sound of beautiful singing came through the screen. What the hell?

“Wow,” Neve said. “Mia has a hell of a voice.”

The trio watched on the screen as the bees calmed down, and Galen took care of them. Amazing. Corsair tapped Ryan’s shoulder impatiently, and she got back to work. Door controls. Camera controls. Fucking Srinar and their stupid games. She was going to really mess things up for them.

Ryan fell completely into her zone. This was when everything inside her went still, when she was tapped in deep to a computer system, working her magic.

“Galen and the others are approaching the door,” Corsair said.

“Almost there.” Ryan kept tapping, moving through the system. There! “Got it! Doors are open. And—” she tapped one last time “—the cameras are off. The Srinar are blind.”

“Nice work.” Corsair’s grin was blinding. The man had a rugged, handsome face that begged a woman to take a look—or ten. Ryan idly noted that Neve was studying him rather intently, as well.

“You still in their system?” he asked.

Ryan nodded.

“How about we mess up the Srinar’s little operation a bit before we meet up with the others?”

Ryan nodded, determination filling her. “Excellent idea.” She started deleting information. Anything and everything.

Some things were protected with really tough encryption, but she kept working, her fingers flying.

Then she stopped, scanning the data. Fighter records were flashing across the screen. What if there was information on Dayna in there, somewhere? Or other humans abducted by the Thraxians?

God, what she’d give for a portable data drive right now.

“Speed it up, Ryan.” Corsair pulled a crossbow off his back, aiming it at the bushes ahead of them. “We have company.”

Ryan didn’t see anything, but she didn’t doubt him. “I need a few more minutes.”

Neve lifted her staff. “We can buy you some more time.” She flashed Corsair a glance. “Or, at least, I know I can.”

Corsair smiled again. This time, it was laced with challenge. “Try and keep up, Earth woman.”

Ryan got back to work, conscious of Corsair and Neve moving away from her. Without a sound or a rustle, Nerium guards rushed out of the vegetation.

Yeah, the Srinar were probably going to throw everything they could at them to try and stop Ryan. Delete. Delete. Delete. She smiled grimly.

She saw Corsair explode into action, crossbow bolts firing in quick succession. He dived, rolled and kept firing. Neve was right beside him, jumping high and moving that wicked staff with deadly moves.

Holy hell, the two of them could fight. Ryan had always wanted to be badass, but she knew it required a whole lot of exercise, discipline, and probably early-morning training. Ryan did not do early mornings. She preferred to be a badass with her fingers and a computer screen.

The computer beneath her beeped, and suddenly information flooded the screen. So much data. They could use all of it to crush the Srinar and their operations. She needed to take this with her. Or maybe upload it, somewhere.

She quickly tapped in more commands, trying to make an outside connection. Maybe she could hack some random computer in Kor Magna, and hide the data there. She could recover it later.

“Pirate, throw me,” Neve called out.

Ryan looked up again and saw Corsair grip Neve’s waist. With a powerful flex of his muscled arms, he tossed her up into the air. As she flew, she spun, her staff taking down several guards. She landed in the center of several Nerium, in a crouch. Then she grinned and exploded upward, taking down more guards.

Suddenly, Ryan’s screen blinked and changed. A sharp, masculine face appeared.

“There you are,” the man drawled.

She tensed. If it wasn’t the arrogant boy genius.

“Where have you been?” he asked.

Like she’d been sashaying around on a beachside vacation. “I don’t have time for you, info-boy. This is life or death.”

He frowned. “Can I help?”

She nodded. “I’ve hacked the Srinar system. I’ve accessed their data. All their data. I want everything here, to help shut them down and find others they’ve enslaved.”

“All their data.” A hungry look filled the man’s fascinating, nebula-blue eyes. He cracked his knuckles and Ryan was caught for a second on how long and well-shaped his fingers were. “Let’s do it, Ryan.”

She got to work, and on the screen, she saw his face set with concentration as he buckled down on his end. She could see what he was doing, and dammit, it was ingenious. The man might be arrogant, but he was smart, as well.

Zhim’s link connected, and Ryan quickly started uploading across it. “It’s done. I have to go.”

He stared directly at her. “I look forward to meeting you in person, Ryan Amaya Nagano of Earth. Don’t get hurt coming home.”

A strange feeling swirled in Ryan’s belly. She gave the man a nod, and shut off the screen. She pushed to her feet, and saw that the ground was littered with green-skinned aliens.

Corsair and Neve were standing in the middle of it, back to back. The caravan master turned, sliding his crossbow onto his back with a smile. “I believe I took down one more than you.”

Neve straightened. “You did not.” She spun her staff up behind her back, glaring at him.

“I did,” he insisted.

“You don’t get credit for that last one. I’d already hit him twice. He was a soft target.”

“A draw, then. We took down the same number.”

“I hate cocky men.” In a lightning-fast move, Neve dropped into a crouch and swept her leg out in a half circle. Her boot hit Corsair’s legs, and knocked the man into a sprawl. His colorful curse filled the air.

Neve stood, pushing her dark curls back off her face. “Now, I officially took down one more than you.”

Ryan tried to hide her smile as a disgruntled Corsair rose to his feet.

“Ah, sorry to interrupt the one-upmanship,” Ryan said. “But I’m finished, and we need to get back to the others before they leave us here.”

Galactic Gladiators Cover Reveal: Beast

It is time to head back to the desert world of Carthago and the gladiators of the House of Galen.

Beast man. Blue. Vek. Our next Galactic Gladiators book stars the wild, blue-skinned alien rescued from the underground fight rings and small, blonde spaceship pilot Mia.

To celebrate Beast’s cover reveal I have a giveaway of an amazing 2018 gladiator calendar called Warrior. Scroll right down to the bottom to enter.

Beast

Release Date: October 31st

Cover art by the awesome Melody Simmons

Excerpt from Barbarian featuring Vek

The group stopped by a small drinking hole to rest and quench their thirst.

Vek’ker stopped as well, avoiding the ugly beasts the gladiators rode. He moved toward the small pool of water, setting his bundle down by the water’s edge.

He needed to drink, but he didn’t want to leave Mia alone. She’d been alone for weeks, lost and stolen.

Vek leaned down, and drew in a deep breath. The scent of her filled him, and he felt an uneasy, edgy part of him settle. No one was looking, so he carefully stroked her cheek. He found the color of her skin fascinating. So pink compared to his blue.

He felt a spear of longing drive through him. With a grunt, he turned to the water and scooped some into his mouth.

For so long, he’d just been a thing, an animal, a weapon. He’d fought on the whim of his captors in the underground fight rings. He’d tried to remember his life before, but the memories refused to come.

He knew people were shocked he’d survived the fight rings.

Sometimes, he was surprised. He’d been tortured, caged, and caught in vicious fights to the death. He’d had nothing to fight for, nothing to survive for.

Until Mia had stepped on the sand.

He reached down and stroked her arm. She was so soft and small. This tiny woman from a distant planet called Earth had woken something in him. Something he didn’t understand.

He touched her hair. It was the color of the sunlight, and he loved it. He’d lived without the sunlight for so very long. Her eyelashes were surprisingly dark against her skin. He willed her to open her eyes.

He looked over and saw the big gladiator, Nero, cradling his own woman. The man’s face was etched in hard lines. His woman was badly injured.

Vek had seen the way the healer had rushed in and risked her life to save them all. He hoped she recovered soon.

He felt Mia stir, and he froze, looking down at her. She opened her eyes.

She blinked a few times, focusing on his face. A small smile emerged on her lips. “Hello.”

There was no fear. She didn’t look at him like he was an animal.

“Hello, Mia.” He knew his voice sounded growly and rough. But it had been so long since he’d spoken.

Her eyes widened. Confused. “Blue? You’re talking.”

“My name is Vek’ker.”

She reached up, her fingers touching his face, and stroking his ragged beard. “Hi, Vek’ker.”

“I am…I was called Vek.”

“Did you rescue me, Vek?”

There was no fear. No disgust. He’d gotten so used to people being afraid of him. “I will come for you, wherever you are.”

“You don’t even know me,” she said quietly.

“I do.” He breathed deeply again, letting her sweet smell surround him.

“Mia?”

She looked around Blue, and he didn’t need to turn to know that Blaine and Saff had arrived, as he had scented them.

“So glad to see you awake,” Blaine said, crouching. “How are you feeling?”

“Tired. Groggy.” Mia pushed at her hair. “Like I went a few rounds in a boxing ring.”

“What do you remember?” Blaine asked.

Mia’s brow scrunched. “I remember being abducted from the House of Galen.” Her face turned stricken. “Dayna? Winter? Are they okay?”

Vek fought the urge to wrap himself around her.

“Winter is here. She helped us rescue you.” Blaine’s face hardened.

Mia’s hand grabbed Vek’s. “And Dayna?”

“Still missing.”

Mia closed her eyes. “A man snatched Dayna and me off a desert convoy. I remember screams, weapons fire, then…nothing.”

Vek ran a hand along her back, wanting to soothe her distress.

“The man’s name was Catalyst,” Saff said. “He’s dead.”

“Good.” Mia looked around, and her gaze fell on Winter, lying in Nero’s arms. She stiffened. “Winter?”

“She saved us all,” Vek said. “She was injured.”

“No!”

“She’s hurt but alive,” Blaine said. “We’ll be back in Kor Magna soon. Don’t worry. The healers will help her.”

“Be calm, Mia,” Vek said.

She looked up at him, her eyes a fascinating amber color. She touched his face again. “You need a trim.”

“For you, I will.”

“You’re free now, Vek. Free to go and do whatever you please. To find your family and your home world. I know you feel grateful to me, but—”

He shook his head. Gratitude was one emotion he felt, but there were so many things churning inside him for this woman. All he knew was that he didn’t want to be separated from her.

“Shh.” She gripped his jaw, making him look back at her. “I can see the panic on your face. Whatever happens, you have a home at the House of Galen.”

He nodded. But the only place he wanted to be was with Mia.

She sat up, looking across the desert. He saw the glimmer of tears in her eyes. “Dayna is out there, somewhere. All alone. We have to find her.”

Whatever his Mia wanted, he would get it for her. “I vow that I will find her.”

Suddenly, Mia sagged. “I’m tired.” She pressed her face against his chest and held on to him.

That simple trust broke him. He held her tight, and knew that he would die to deliver on his promise to find her friend.

Cover Reveal – Hell Squad: Ash

Welcome back to Hell Squad!

It is time for another berserker to take the fall, and we have handsome, inked former biker, Ash Connors, and a certain tech geek, gamer heroine coming up.

I am also SO THRILLED to be able to unveil a new piece of custom Hell Squad artwork by artist MyCKs. This art was commissioned by Hell Squad super fan Karen A. and features Hell Squad’s Claudia and Shaw. It is *so* great!

To celebrate Ash’s cover reveal I have a giveaway of a print and trading cards of the Claudia and Shaw artwork. Scroll right down to the bottom to enter.

Hell Squad: Ash

Release Date: October 3rd

Cover art by the awesome Melody Simmons

Excerpt from Hell Squad: Hemi featuring Ash

Ash Connors carried the bag of alien data cubes down the corridor leading to the tech lab.

Most people would be heading to the dining room for dinner, but he knew one of the geeks would still be in the lab, tinkering with something or hunched over a comp screen. He was in desperate need of a shower. He was still in his armor and covered in alien fluid, sweat, and blood, but he wanted to deliver these cubes first.

God, he was tired. He was weary down to his bones. Most days, it felt like they were always fighting. Ash had never been averse to wading into a fight—when he’d been a kid raised by a rough biker dad, when he’d been Levi’s second-in-command of the Iron Kings, or as a berserker fighting invading aliens.

But right now, tired, aching, and smelling like alien shit, it was hard to remember why he was fighting.

He kicked open the door. A woman jerked in her chair and spun around, blonde curls bobbing.

“Sorry,” he grunted.

Her gaze slid over him, her eyes widening. “Uh…hi.”

He lifted his chin and moved over to a long bench. He upended the bag and cubes dropped down onto the surface.

“Watch out!” The blonde rushed over, nudging him out of the way. “This is delicate equipment here. And you shouldn’t be tossing the cubes around. You might break them.”

Her snarky tone was somewhere between scolding teacher and pissed-off woman. Ash looked down at the top of her head. He couldn’t remember the last time a woman had told him off.

Usually, they got all breathy and fluttered their eyelashes. Or they were fellow soldiers talking in no-nonsense words.

The woman righted the cubes with small hands. She was pretty short compared to him.

“Thought you’d want these right away,” he said.

She glanced up at him with annoyed, clear blue eyes. Then she clearly realized her nose was an inch from his blood-splattered armor, and she backed up a step.

She was cute. Ash had always had a thing for cute.

“Thanks,” she mumbled reluctantly. “Where did you find them?”

“In an underground creeper breeding ground we just blew sky-high.”

Those eyes widened again. But there was no fear or shock, just intelligence and interest. “Wow.” She picked up one of the cubes, turning it over.

And then it was like he didn’t exist. She stared at the cube, and then snatched up another one. It looked like she’d forgotten he was even in the room.

Ash wasn’t used to that, either. He knew he was attractive. Ever since he’d hit puberty, the opposite sex had been interested, starting with a much older cheerleader who’d divested him of his virginity. He was used to women showing him attention.

But this little tech geek seemed oblivious, and he didn’t like that. He moved closer, crowding into her space, and instantly he smelled her. Fresh, clean woman, with a hint of something that made him think of a bunch of sunny flowers.

“We’ll see what we can get off them.” She went still and scowled at him. “You’re too close.”

“I’m not touching you.”

“That’s not the point.” She shot daggers at him. “It’s good manners not to invade someone’s personal space.”

He smiled at her. “Manners aren’t really my thing.”

Her gaze dropped to his lips and she blinked. Then she slid sideways between Ash and the bench to reach her comp. She clicked the data cube into a small cradle.

Information flickered up on the screen. She leaned forward. “Cool. My raptor isn’t that great, but this looks like creeper info. Noah and the others will love this.”

Yep, she’d forgotten he was there again. Luckily, Ash had a pretty healthy ego. He let his gaze slide down her figure. She was wearing a long, flannel shirt over jeans, which made it hard to tell much about what she looked like underneath. But as she leaned over, the shirt hiked up enough for him to note a curvy little ass encased in denim.

He watched as her slim fingers flew across the keyboard and tapped on the screen.

“It has some heavy-duty encryption on parts of the data.” She muttered under her breath. “You can’t keep me out…gotcha!” She stepped back and wiggled her hips in a little victory dance. Then she realized he was still there, and stiffened.

He smiled. Her face was flushed, satisfaction sparkling in her eyes.

“Oh,” she said. “Are you still here?”

He folded his arms over his chest. “Yep.”

Her gaze skated over his arms. He and the rest of his squad rarely wore armor on their arms. She lingered on his tattoos for a long moment, before jerking her attention back to the comp screen.

His cute little geek was noticing him now.

She cleared her throat and touched a key. The alien information disappeared. An image from a computer game blinked onto the screen. A squad of armored soldiers appeared to be fighting their way through monsters.

“You play Pre-Emptive Strike?” he asked.

“A lot of people in the base do.” She hunched her shoulders. “Is this where you ridicule me, and all the other nerds?”

“No.”

She eyed him warily. “I’m sure a badass soldier like you doesn’t play war games.”

Ash raised a hand and pointed to the carbine on his shoulder. “I’ve got the real thing.”

She swallowed, and he watched her slim throat work. “Right.”

He leaned down and lowered his voice. “But you’d be surprised what games a badass soldier like me enjoys playing.”

She stared at him, her lips parting.

He smiled at her. Yep, she was cute as hell. He watched her gaze slide down to his lips. “Good night, Marin.”

Now her gaze jerked up to his. “You know my name?”

Ash smiled again and turned. As he headed out of the tech lab, he didn’t feel so tired anymore. Apparently, teasing Marin Mitchell was more energizing than a hot shower and a beer.

Hell Squad Claudia and Shaw Art Reveal

A huge thank you to reader Karen A. for making this happen! I can’t wait to frame my original of the painting.

Embrace the Romance: Pets in Space 2

I just had to mention this! The animals in my books (especially Hell Squad) tend to have very big fangs and not be particularly friendly, but here is an awesome sci-fi romance collection with some very interesting pets.

I’ve already pre-ordered mine. There are some amazing authors in here.

Cover Reveal: Unmapped

Today I’m sharing the next THS cover! This is another awesome cover by the amazing cover artist Melody Simmons. She really outdid herself with the latest THS covers.

Take a look at Ronin’s cover below and scroll to the bottom to enter an awesome Treasure Hunter Security signed paperback giveaway.

Unmapped
Release Date: 5th September 2017

Starring: Ronin Cooper and his mystery redhead

Location: Antarctica

Sneak Peek: Unmapped

(Please note this an unedited snippet from Unmapped and there may be slight changes in the final version)

He’d been conned.

Ronin Cooper stepped out of the warehouse. Somehow, Darcy Ward had tricked him into doing the coffee run for the entire Treasure Hunter Security team. He jogged down the front steps of the building that housed the THS offices and shook his head. As a former Navy SEAL and CIA agent, he should have seen it coming. Still, Darcy could get pretty mean and sneaky when it came to her caffeine.

As he walked down the sidewalk, he pulled in a deep breath of air. Spring had hit Denver and all around, the trees were bursting with green leaves and the last chill of winter had left the air. The renovated warehouse that housed THS was on the edge of LoDo, not far from Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. Ronin wasn’t a huge baseball fan, but when he wasn’t off guarding some archeological dig or museum exhibition, he and the gang sometimes caught a game.

As he turned, he saw the city of Denver rising up ahead of him. Overhead, the sun shone as it always did here. It was nice to be in the light.

His thoughts turned dark, and Ronin stuck his hands in the pockets of his cargo pants. He’d spent so long working in the dark—on his SEAL missions, for the CIA. Hell, he’d been born in the dark.

He set his shoulders back. He’d gotten out—and maybe he was missing a few chunks of his soul—but he worked for THS now. He worked with people he liked, and most of the time, he enjoyed the job. He even liked Denver. He could cycle in the summer and snowboard in the winter. Many a weekend, he went climbing with Callum Ward, one of the owners of THS. He liked his life just the way it was.

As he approached the baseball park, the traffic got a little busier. It didn’t take him long to realize he was being followed.

Ronin felt the muscles in his shoulders tense, but kept his stride and body relaxed. He didn’t want to alert his prey.

He wondered who the hell it was. THS had royally pissed off Silk Road on their last mission in Africa. They’d even finally managed to take down one of the top people in the dangerous, black-market antiquities group. Declan Ward had warned them all that Silk Road would be out for payback.

Ronin paused at some stop lights, waiting to cross the street. He casually turned his head and spotted a flash of color. Hair that was a deep copper that made him think of the rising sun.

It was her.

He’d spied her three times before. Once, at Dec and Layne’s wedding. Mystery Woman had gatecrashed the reception and had been watching the THS gang. When Ronin had spotted her, she’d taken off. Another time, he’d seen her watching him cycling on one of the bike paths he used a lot. The third time, he’d seen at the bar where he and his friends sometimes grabbed a beer after work. Once again, she’d disappeared before he’d reached her.

Who the hell was she?

Ronin strode across the street. Now he was in the heart of LoDo, with its brick buildings and renovated warehouses. Ahead, he saw a narrow entrance to an alley and turned into it. Brick walls rose up either side. There were a few doorways and puddles on the ground, but other than that, the alley was empty.

He walked deeper into the shadows that he knew so well. Then he quickly moved into a doorway, crouching so he was hidden by darkness.

Moments later he heard footsteps—light and quick. Definitely a woman. Then he heard a feminine curse and he raised a brow. That wasn’t very ladylike.

He let out a slow breath, his heartbeat calm and controlled. He charged out of his hiding place and grabbed the woman.

He saw wide blue eyes and blunt copper-colored bangs above them.

As he tightened his hold on her, she cursed like a sailor again. Before he could speak, she landed a sharp kick to his knee.

Surprised, he stumbled. Hell, no one surprised him.

But by the time he righted himself, the woman was running out of the alley.

No, you don’t. Ronin broke into sprint.

Meet the Warriors of the Wind

The first Warriors of the Wind are now live! I am so, so excited to re-release these short, sexy stories. I’ve had a lot of fun revisiting some of the first stories I wrote and published (and giving them a little polish, and adding and extending some scenes).

The Warriors of the Wind are the only thing protecting humans from a centuries-old evil, but with their potential mates, the Aurae, long gone, these alpha warriors are in danger of becoming the very evil they hunt.

So, here are the five Italian Venti Brothers and Warriors of the Wind!

Out Now

One of five brothers granted the power of the wind, Lorenzo Venti is Keeper of the Winds. A loner at heart, he’s fine that his duty to keep the evil Tempest Winds trapped on their island prison, keeps him isolated and alone. After seeing his father murdered by the Winds, he’s made an oath to keep them locked away. Besides, he prefers his work with his horses to annoying people anyway. But his powerful foes are rising, and when one infuriating, tempting woman arrives on his island, she threatens everything…

Storm: the last thing he expects on his hunt is an alluring assassin out to kill him.

Seduction: trapped, naked, and chained with a beautiful woman who can never be his.

Four New Covers to Reveal: Untraveled and Warriors of the Wind

I am SO excited to share not one, not two, but FOUR new book covers with you today. Plus I have an awesome giveaway to help celebrate…just scroll down to the bottom to enter.

First up is the cover for the upcoming new book in the Treasure Hunter Security series. This one stars former Navy SEAL turned security specialist Hale Carter. He’s venturing into the Kalahari Desert on the hunt for some famous lost mines with blonde, driven FBI agent Elin Alexander.

Can’t wait to share these guys with you! There is banter, adventure and danger. They were so much fun to write.

Untraveled
Release Date: 8th August 2017

Starring: Hale Carter and Agent Elin Alexander

Location: Kalahari Desert

AND…a few readers have been asking me about this so here goes.

Once upon a time, a newbie author wrote some paranormal romance short stories about some sexy and powerful Italian brothers who could control the wind. She sold the first two stories to romance publisher, Harlequin, and later on, published the rest of the stories in the series herself. That series was called the WindKeepers.

Fast forward to 2017, and I got the rights back for the first two stories and I am busy revamping them! They are being updated, reworked, are a bit longer, have new titles, new covers, and a new series name.

If you’ve read the original series, the first story has changed A LOT. You’d recognize the inspiration from the original story but other than that, the characters have been completely changed up. The rest of the stories in the series have been reworked but aren’t so changed from the originals.

The Warriors of the Wind are the only thing protecting humans from a centuries-old evil, but with their potential mates, the Aurae, long gone, these alpha warriors are in danger of becoming the very evil they hunt.

Release Date: TBA

I haven’t set a release date for the Warriors of the Wind books yet. I am working on them whenever I get the chance and plan to release them close together as soon as they are finished. So they’ll be surprise releases and I think we are getting close…

The Warriors of the Wind will be five short novellas, each starring one of the sexy, billionaire Venti brothers who each control the wind and fight to protect the world. Expect lots of action and romance!
