Reesa Herberth grew up in Hawaii, tried Arizona for a few years, and eventually settled in the D.C. area, where they have things like trees and rain.

She’s held a variety of crazy writer jobs, including book and video store manager for a defunct chain of music shops, office goddess for an artisan ice cream maker, cheese-cup scrubber at an organic goat dairy, high school secretary, and dye-stained proprietress of a small yarn and fiber business.
When not writing, she can usually be found reading, gardening, cooking, or spinning yarns of another sort entirely. She often resents her need for sleep.

Thanks for asking- we do plan to re-release these books, probably within the next year. Right now we've got several books due on contract, so we can't give Balance and Slipstream the treatment we want at the moment. The plan is to do a full edit on both, probably adding to Balance and adding bonus content to Slipstream. We will definitely be releasing them again, though, as well as adding to the series in the future. (less)

We currently have sequels to both The Slipstream Con and Peripheral People plotted out and somewhere in the writing stage, as well as an unrelated new book in the universe. No ETA on any of them- our next two books will be contemporary romances- but we aren't done with the Ylendrian universe by any stretch.

We also plan to release an expanded version of The Balance of Silence, and re-release The Slipstream Con, now that Samhain has folded. (less)

New Release – Detour Is Out Now!

We’ve waited a long time to be able to share this book with people- nearly 20 years, if you count back to the first appearance of Ethan and Nick.  We’re so proud of the story, and judging by our early reviews, other people are falling for Nick and Ethan almost as hard as we have.
