COVER REVEAL!!!!!

Good Monday everyone! I am so excited to be a part of the reveal for this book! I have heard it is an amazing read and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

soooooo without further delay.....

So... What's it about?!? Well, here is a little blurb about it. . .

no stranger to the otherworldly. But when he’s called
upon to investigate a missing child, he stumbles upon a deeper mystery.
Children are vanishing and no one, not even their parents, remembers
them. Suspicion turns to Neo-Nazi vampires and humans running a child
slavery ring, but even that is only the beginning. For help he turns to
friends, old and new, but even they might not be enough. When new
enemies turn deadly, old enemies become allies, including the least
likely ally of all: an enemy whose cruelty and evil was almost his end,
and haunts him still.

This is where you can find him.

Stay tuned for details... <3

Huge Cancer Research Signing Event

So,
I am going to be attending a huge book signing in Maine in 2014. It is
for a really good cause as the proceeds from table space will be donated
to the Cancer Research Centers. It is a pretty big ordeal and I am
excited to go, not only to meet new people but to help support cancer
research.

The first couple of hours on the first day of the
event I, along with several other fellow authors, will be doing a
special signing for cancer patients ONLY.

The devastating
reach of cancer has touched my life, taking away two very important
people in my life. My grandmother passed away in 2005 with pancreatic
cancer. We watched as the disease savagely took her over. HOWEVER, the
entire time, despite the agonizing pain, she kept her beautiful smile
and comforted me. My grandfather passed away more recently, May 2013,
with Leukemia. Though he was in pain, he still held his greatgrand
babies and showed them love.

Both of these amazing people influenced my life, and supported me in my
writing endeavors. They were taken away from me entirely to early and to
this day I still feel the affects of their loss. I can no longer pick
up the phone to call them and tell them about my latest dream coming
true. I can no longer hug them or tell them how much I love them, but
what pains me most is the fact that they will never be able to see my
children grow into amazing young men. I strive to teach my children the
values that my grandparents taught my mother and my mother has, in turn,
taught me.

So, in their honor, I will be attending this
convention. For a limited time I will be selling autographed copies
through my sites to help raise funds to allow me to attend and donate
time and money to the event! All money made from my sales over the next
year will go toward that trip.

If you are interested in a
personalized copy and a free gift, please send me a private message. The
cost of the book is $15.00 + S&H.

if you are not interested in an autographed copy, The Chosen Chronicles: Risen is available for Kindle download! Just follow the link below.

Also, I will have several other books released by that time, all sales from those will go toward the trip as well!

Please help me share and get the word out there.

The amazing Casey Sean Harmon

The military plays such and important role in the world today, especially in the United States.  More times than not they go above and beyond the call of duty and as civilians, we rarely get to see into their personal lives or how they became a soldier.  They also serve and sometimes never get recognized for the amazing job they do.  Before I get started I want to say FIRST, thank you from the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul to all you military, past, present and future for your service for our country.  It is now my PLEASURE to introduce you to the amazing Casey Sean Harmon.  This spot today is to highlight his new book! So... let's get started shall we?

Who is he?

Casey Sean Harmon is a bestselling
author and a Soldier in the U.S. Army. He has studied with the Jerry
B. Jenkins Christian Writer's Guild, and holds a degree through
American Military University. He lives with his wife and son wherever
the military sends them.

What is his book? Well here is a little snip-it:

Ever wonder what it's like to go
through Army Basic Combat Training? The reality may surprise you. For
the first time ever, experience the making of a U.S. Soldier through
the eyes of a Soldier-in-training. This is a behind-the-scenes
glimpse at things that you'll never read about in newspapers or see
on television. From the humor in "canteen bowling" to the
power of believing in something bigger than ourselves, this book
captures the very essence of what is considered one of the most
challenging--and rewarding--transitions a civilian will make:
becoming a Soldier. You will witness fear, excitement, and death. And
you'll learn what separates a Soldier from a civilian.

Whether you are a parent, a
Soldier candidate awaiting training, or just someone looking for a
good read, it is mandatory that you read Becoming PVT Harmon!

http://www.amazon.com/Becoming-PVT-Harmon-Journal-Training/dp/1491215836

I think everyone should read this tale into the life of becoming a solider.  I, for one, am putting it on the top of my TBR list.

So, now, where can we find Casey? Well keep on looking below!

Witness The Dawn of Fated Truth

Okay, I am so freaking excited to announce the official release for this amazing book. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting. . .er well you get the point.  I was lucky enough to get to read it before it hit the shelves and let me FREAKING TELL YOU, it has it all. . . mystery, action, adventure and love... oh AND HOT HOT HOTNESS!!!!!!

WARNING: ya might need a cold shower later.... ;) Jusssss sayin.

So Check it out below... gonna show ya some stuff and introduce you to the awesomely fabulous, fantastically talented. . .  Ms. Tasha Gwartney.........

Who is she?  Well, lets find out. . .

Tasha Gwartney is a Military wife
and mother. She is currently living at Fort Polk in central LA with
her family and two huskies. Tasha has always had a passion for words.
She started writing at the young age of ten. With first short
stories, then she moved onto writing Poetry. Her poetry has won many
awards both in Germany and within the United States. Tasha has always
had a passion for children which moved her to attain a degree in
Early Childhood Education.

In her spare
time, Tasha loves to paint landscapes and dabble in photography. Her
family has always told her that she got all the “artistry genes”
in the family. Besides spending time with her family, you would
probably never catch Tasha without a book, or her ever handy kindle
attached to her hand.

Tasha is currently having her first
novel published September 2013. Tasha doesn’t have just one genre
that she writes in. She loves to read and write in every genre. Her
dream is to reach her readers on a deep and personal level. Tasha
wants to take her readers on a journey where they will feel what the
characters they are reading about are feeling. Experience the
character’s joys, triumphs, and pain.

“If I can take someone on such an
epic journey through my writing that they actually connect with my
characters on a deep emotional level. Then my dreams of being a
writer are realized.”

Tasha always has characters banging
around in her head wanting their stories to be told. So keep an eye
out for her work. She is sure to enlighten your imaginations.

I asked Ms. Tasha to give me some quirky random things about herself. This is what she had to say:

I love being outside right before it rains.

I hate the sound of bare feet against carpet.

I hate to drive.

I hate when people try to hold me back.

I am very impatient.

I love being a mother more than anything in the world.

Hospitals creep me out.

I love the smell of old books.

Friends are important to me. They are my family.

I read a lot more than I should.

My favorite shade is black.

I never wear any color lipstick but I am not a waitress RED.

I wear 8 inch heels like I was born in them. But I would rather wear flip flops year round.

NOW lets get to the reason she is here!!!

Introducing, hot of the press. . .

WHAT is it about you may ask.  Well the only way you are going to find out is to keep reading!!!

Ella
Reese has never been a normal girl. She grew up in a small town where
everyone knew everyone else’s business. In the home she grew up in
she was despised for everything that she is. Ella didn’t fit into
the mold that her parents desperately wanted her too. She learned
early on to keep her head down and try to fit into a world that was
never really meant for her. All Ella wants is to live a normal life
and spend time with her two best friends. Maybe even make it through
her senior year of High School without being maimed. But when Fate
intervenes, picks up your roots, and sends your life in a new
direction. You can’t exactly say no. Ella finds herself on a
journey where she discovers herself to be a Goddess Touched True
Witch with unequaled powers, falls madly soul deep in love with her
chosen life mate, experiences horrific tragedies, reunites with those
she thought she had lost forever, and discovers along the way that
she has found a family that accepts her for who she truly is. But
Fate doesn’t deal her cards lightly. When you are handed enormous
power. That power comes with great responsibility. When Ella’s
whole world falls apart and her love for her soul mate is put into
doubt. Will she be strong enough to travel the path Fate has set her
upon? Or will she fold under the weight of her new Fate?

Need a visual? Check out this beautifully created video. . .

THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THIS EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK. ARE YOU READ, BECAUSE I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW YOU!

When we got to Jaxx’s room I felt instantly at ease
in the familiar surroundings. Everything had been happening so fast. My
brother finding me, meeting a Vampire that happened to be Jaxx’s uncle.
Meeting a Vampire. Crazy shit ass day! That’s what I’d been having.
Jaxx pulled me to him and started rubbing his hands up and down my back.
“Are you tired, baby girl?”
“Surprisingly not. Earlier I felt run down, but I already told you. When
I’m in your arms, you are my favorite new addiction. My very own double
shot of caffeine times a hundred.” He scowled at me and I chuckled,
pulling him closer to me. “I have found my home in you, baby. You are it
for me. Forever. Even without the mating bond I would want you with
everything inside of me.”
“I feel the same way, Ella. I have walked a lonely road the last two
hundred plus years. Always looking for someone who hadn’t even been born
yet, never finding anything to fill the void that I didn’t even know
was there until I saw you for the first time. Everything about you
enthralls me. From your kindness, to the fire that burns so bright that
it glows throughout your entire being.”
“I love you, Jaxx,” I said with happy tears running down my face.
No words were spoken after that. His lips were on mine and his taste
filled my entire being as the world faded away. Every touch, every brush
of his lips sent me into an oblivion of ecstasy and love. My head fell
back as he trailed his lips down my neck. He started walking us backward
toward the bed and we both tumbled. He landed lightly on top of me,
catching most of his weight with his hands, resting on either side of my
head. I leaned back on the pillow while his lips and tongue tasted
every inch of my neck.
He lifted me up and I raised my arms so he could pull my tunic over my
head. He stopped, taking in my black lacey bra. “My goddess you are
exquisite. How did I get so lucky?”

What's that you say? You want more? Well as it happens, lovelies it just went on sale TODAY!!! So what in the world are you waiting for... Go get it!!!! Get out of here! MOVE IT!!!

Wandering thoughts from a Random mind!

Okay, so upon trying to figure out what I wanted to blog about I realized I had no clue what I wanted to blog about.  Do I just do the same, standard posts. . . why this happens in the literary world, why that happens in the literary world, what to look for when looking for a Publishing house. . . . I could do posts on these, and in the future I probably will but not today! Don't get me wrong, these are some VERY VERY important things to look at when trying to become established and get your foot in the door.

Nope, today I am going to write about. . . I don't really know what I want to write about, but I think I already established that.

As an author one of the most frequent questions I get asked is "How do you come up with something like that?"

Well the answer is, everything inspires me.  I go to the grocery store and see an elderly lady shopping for groceries with her husband, I am inspired to add a loving grandmother and grandfather to one of my stories.

Or I see a mother yelling and cussing at her crying three year old and see a story about a teen that really needs some attention because she didn't have a strong motherly figure.

I watch tv and see a Geico commercial and I get inspired to write about a Australian with a pet gecko.  My point is, inspiration is everywhere, in everything and everyone.  However, just because I see literary inspiration in everything doesn't mean a full story can or will emerge.  I have file, upon file, upon file of stories started with no true ending.  Some of them are actually only a paragraph long, while others may be a solid thirty pages long.  Then they just simply. . . stop.

A misconception with a lot of authors is that we can just sit down and the story magically comes to us, and we can sit down and have a book produced in two days time.  Well, for some that may be the case but not so for me.  I like to take time researching and studying my characters, getting to know them like a new friend, learning their secrets, fears, desires and wishes.

Yes, I am aware I am talking like these characters are real.  Something that you may not know about us authors. . . to us, these characters are very real.  Essentially, they are our babies.  We grow them, help them learn lessons and eventually we have to let them go.  I have been working on my new project for months now, but it has taken be a very long time to get to know this new cast.  Why, you may ask.  Well, because I worked with my Chosen gang closely for three almost four years.  When you spend that much time with someone, you get close to them.  They make you angry, they make you cry, and they break your heart.  I guess I am a masochist because I enjoy that aspect of my job.

These new characters were being stubborn.  They wanted to hide behind my other crew and I refused to allow them to cower.  Unfortunately, it was I that was cowering.  Scared that once I started with these guys, the others would be lost and/or forgotten.  This broke my heart!!!

Thankfully, these characters have finally saddled up and are on their way to becoming close to me, just as close as the others have become.  So, when I begin another series, the new guys will have a lot of big shoes to fill!

Each and every character an author creates is apart of the author themselves.  It may be a hidden desire to be rebellious, have that perfect family, the hero, the bad guy, the snarky best friend, or the witty side kick!  No matter the circumstance, authors pour out their soul into their books, unfortunately not everyone likes them.

Getting bad reviews and low ratings are just part of the territory.  However, the way in which we decided to handle those reviews rests completely on our shoulders.  We can cry *raises hand guiltily* I've been there.  The first negative review devastated me.  It doesn't matter that all my previous reviews were 5 stars, I looked at that single little lonely star and thought I was an EPIC failure.  What did they mean it sucked and was unoriginal?  What do you mean you wanted to slap the main character because she was stupid? UMMMMM, OUCH much. Was that really necessary?   I sucked and moped around for a few days.  I was sad, then I was hurt, and THEN, oh yes, I was SERIOUSLY PISSED off.  I mean how dare they be so hateful and hurtful to MY BABY.... you don't see me coming into your life harshly demeaning your families or putting down your kids calling them stupid!

***Does the whole Z snap thing*** OH GIRL... NO YOU DINN'T!!!! My country girl temper and attitude took over.

In my anger I wrote a very long and shamefully hateful letter.  But the more I hovered my cursor over the send button, the more i began to regret my words.  Ultimately, I deleted the post and simply stated.  Thank you for your honest review and left it at that.  That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do!!! So advise to young writers, take bad reviews with a grain of salt.  Spin it to a positive.  Use them to better your writing and remember, you can't please everyone all the time! It's easier said than done, believe me, I know! :) but for every 1 bad star there are 5 more brightly glowing ones!

OH AND remember if you buy a book go back and review! o.O

Well that's really all I have today! Hope you had fun! Leave comments below please and show me some love.

My book is currently on sale now!!!!!!!!!

XOXO my lovelies!
