Classics-Guest Nancy

First guest during the celebration for the release of The Wind & the Sun–  Nancy contacted me way back to tell me she'd enjoyed the wolfies. I think she was one of the first readers to insist that TJ needed his own story. You can find her at her blog: My Odd Little World

Nancy writes:

My First Series

I discovered reading at an early age, I'd say maybe eight or nine years old. But I didn't become an avid, I-must-read-them reader until I discovered Nancy Drew. I was hooked from the very first...

Classics- taking a twist

This is week four of the multiple release marathon, and I'm so pleased to be able to say that this week I've got some very special people dropping at the blog to help me celebrate.

Readers.

At heart, that's what I am first and foremost, but just as I dabble in things other than sticking my nose in a book, these lovely ladies all have other hats they wear as well. I just happen to know them from our connection of being readers.

The story out today is my Naughty Aesop- The Wind and the Sun. This i...

It was a Dark and Stormy night -winners

The weather didn't cooperate, so my camping trip got cancelled. I may be a wilderness woman, but deliberately setting out for a trip in the middle of a severe thunderstorm warning is not a great idea. No matter HOW much I love storms.

On to the good stuff then: Winners this week are:

1st Prize="Calm in the middle of the Storm" Spa Kit. Handmade soaps, body scrub, lipgloss, adult "toy", pocket-sized Kama Sutra, chocolate + other treats including a Moonsnail shell from the Pacific Coast.

Jamie...

It was a Dark and Stormy night #5

There's one more guest coming tomorrow, and so the prizes are still up for grabs.

Here's an excerpt for you from Stormchild. Laurin and Matt are on his ship the Stormchild, traveling through the Pacific Inside Passage, and they are being tossed by a bit of bad weather–see where I got this weeks theme from? Matt sent her below, but the connection between them is too tough to ignore…

~~~
The engine sound faded and Laurin turned in a panic to face the door, her hands clutching her cup protectively ...
It was a Dark and Stormy Night- #4
Next up– one of my VA cohorts. Yup, Vivi Andrews and I share many things, not the least of which are our intitals. She writes sexy shifters as well as  fun and flirty paranormals–and I swear we are two separate people, really. It adds to my mystic if people MIGHT think I'm her…
(She even lives up north. Go figure.)
Be sure to answer her comment at the end to add your name to the draw. Here's Vivi!
Stormy Weather
I love a good thunderstorm – the sheer power and drama of nature on display.  I've n...
It was a Dark and Stormy night #3
Thanks for having me, Viv.
When Viv asked me to be her guest and said the theme was storms, I have to admit that it took me a long time to sit down and think what I would write about. There are no storms in my books. Yet. Although I admit, in my upcoming Texas Tangle, there are a lot of emotional storms, especially for two of the characters. But that's a story for another day.
Then I remembered one storm we had a couple years ago.  There'd been a lot of storms up here that summer—at least two a...
It was a Dark and Stormy night #2
Today's guest is Inez Kelly. She's got some fabulous books out that can make you laugh and heat up your reading, with more goodness on the horizon. I'm going to let her take it away…right after I let you know that Stormchild is now live at the stores. Hurrah!! If you click the cover to the right, it will link you through. As well, the details of the contest are just over there====> as well.
Okay, NOW Inez.
Storms. I love them. Snow storms, rain storms, wind storms, you name it, I love it. The w...
It was a Dark and Stormy night #1
Week three in the continuing release/week adventure, and after a contemporary and a fantasy/fairy tale we've now hit a shifter book.
Stormchild is the first in a new series from Samhain Publishing. The books of Pacific Passion are set amidst the Pacific Inside Passage's islands, inlets and waterways. Tomorrow is the official launch, but all week we're celebrating again,with the help of guests who will share their take on a dark and stormy…whatever.
To ease our stress after all these storms...
Get Hooked on a Series
You might have noticed this in the side bar of the blog–it's the third annual Get Hooked contest. You get to choose which series you haven't tried yet for a chance to win book 1. I've got two books, Wolf Signs and Tidal Wave, up for grabs, so if you know of anyone who hasn't tried them yet you can share the news. But there's other new to you authors on that list I bet! You have until May 15 to make your selection.
The last time Moria Rogers organized this I ended up with 5 new series to enjoy!
