Weird dreams - TMI warning

Captain's Log, Stardate 10.06.2009

So one reason I haven't been blogging much the past week or so has been that I've been sick. I got sick right after I returned from the ACFW conference, and then the past 5 days I've also been fighting something.

I don't know why this is, but whenever I'm sick, I have the strangest dreams, and they always involve toilets.

If this is too TMI for you, stop reading right now. But I also know lots of you guys are mothers, and nothing I can say could be as bad as ch...

Excerpt - Intervention by Terri Blackstock

Camy here: This is one of those books where I read the back cover blurb and ached because I wished I'd come up with a story premise so incredibly clever and cool! Then again, why am I surprised? This is Terri Blackstock, after all.

It was her last hope—and the beginning of a new nightmare.

Barbara Covington has one more chance to save her daughter from a devastating addiction, by staging an intervention. But when eighteen-year-old Emily disappears on the way to drug treatment—and her interventi...

Excerpt - Guardian of the Flame by T.L. Higley

T.L. Higley is a friend of mine, but I would love her books even if I didn't know her. Her first novel in this Seven Wonders series, Shadow of Colossus , was fantastic. I usually don't care much for ancient or Biblical historical fiction, but Colossus was a fascinating book with an interesting story premise and good characters. I haven't read the book below yet, but it's in my TBR pile, and I don't expect to be disappointed! Read the excerpt to see if the story interests you!

Today's Wild Card...
