I've never had the kind of writer's block which prevents you from writing anything -- more the kind of thing where I hit a dead end (sometimes temporary, sometimes permanent) with a given project. Sometimes I'm trying to push forward a project which is fundamentally flawed. Sometimes, I just need a little time to regroup. In either case, I work on something else, and then pick up the blocked project again at some later date. Or don't.
