Amalia Dillin began as a Biology major before taking Latin and falling in love with old heroes and older gods. After that, she couldn't stop writing about them, with the occasional break for more contemporary subjects. She lives in upstate New York with her husband, and dreams of the day when she will own goats--to pull her chariot through the sky, of course.

Amalia is the author of the Fate of the Gods trilogy, and the Orc Saga, beginning with HONOR AMONG ORCS. She also writes historical fiction under the name Amalia Carosella.

Hi Zoe!

Thanks so much for reading and I'm so glad you're enjoying the series! I'm planning right now for a 2017 release for Orc Saga 3, but how early or late in 2017 will depend a great deal on when other contracted projects are scheduled -- I don't want to cannibalize my own sales, and don't have the same control over those dates to firmly place book 3 quite yet.

I'm so sorry to keep you waiting, and I'm eager to get book three into your hands, so I hope you'll hang in there with me!

Also thank you SO MUCH for your question!(less)
Amalia Dillin Wow! Thank you so much for reading -- I'm so glad you've enjoyed my books!! You are so kind, and your comment has made my day! :)

I had one goal for myself in November--because I knew I didn't have 50K in me after the hyperproductivity of the summer, and going into the holidays is always kind of a mess for getting anything done on this end, in addition--I wanted to finish FROM ASGARD, WITH LOVE before the end of the month.

Now, you should know that when I added this project into my calendar for the year, I thought it had Read more of this blog post »

Guh. Love this book and its emotional roller-coaster of events. I love Lars and Killa, but I really do love Shad Tucker, too, and Orric. This book is full of really fun secondary characters whose stories I wish were also told, somewhere.

“Wait." He paused, and she held out a hand to him. His thick fingers engulfed her tapering ones; his skin was warm and dry, and scorched her. "Before we go pick up poor Lieutenant Illyan again..."

He took her in his arms, and they kissed, for the first time, for a long time.

"Oh," she muttered after. "Perhaps that was a mistake. It hurts so much when you stop."

"Well, let me..." his hand stroked her hair, gently, then desperately wrapped itself in a shimmering coil; they kissed again.”
