Ari B. Goelman I pick up another project. I've never had the kind of writer's block which prevents you from writing anything -- more the kind of thing where I hit a dead end (sometimes temporary, sometimes permanent) with a given project. Sometimes I'm trying to push forward a project which is fundamentally flawed. Sometimes, I just need a little time to regroup. In either case, I work on something else, and then pick up the blocked project again at some later date. Or don't.
Ari B. Goelman A few years ago I lived in a run down house in a not-so-great-area of Vancouver. My house was broken into twice while I lived there. Both times I noticed a battered rainbow van parked on the street in front of the house the day my place was burglarized.
