A Werewolf Paranormal-Scope

While I am not qualified in any way to read neither stars nor planets, I am intimately linked to the paranormal in the world in many ways. So are you.

The paranormal-scope is for entertainment purposes only and is not meant to guide your life by.

The week for:

Aries:

Werewolves love curling up with a good book. Take this time to relax more and rest up for the fun ahead.

Taurus:

Itching to dance is a werewolf’s dilemma. Go out with friends or take some lessons.

Gemini:

Werewolves are famous for the warm fuzzies. Make new friends at work. Socialize more.

Cancer:

Werewolf pups can be messy. There’s a lot of cleaning in your future. Sorry about that.

Leo:

A howling success is coming your way. Be ready for the opportunity and give it your 100% effort.

Virgo:

Don’t listen to bragging and gossips. Keep those you trust in your pack.

Libra:

A werewolf may look ferocious but there’s a golden heart under all that fur.

Scorpio:

Grooming is everything. Re-evaluate your appearance. You may be overdue for a haircut.

Sagittarius:

A change of scenery will do you good. Stretch those paws of yours in a new direction.

Capricorn:

Your best times are with your pack. Stick together and plan celebrations.

Aquarius:

A new werewolf will come into your life. Enjoy this new friend. You will learn a lot.

Pisces:

One werewolf is fun. Two is twice the fun. Accept an invitation and enjoy yourself. Let your fur down and howl.

What’s In A (Pen) Name?

Courtesy Wikimedia Commons

Courtesy Wikimedia Commons

For years I have struggled with the idea of writing under a pen name. Yes, if you didn’t already know, Jenna Jaxon is not my real name. Because of my professional work, I decided before I began writing that if I were ever published, it would be under a pseudonym. I ended up choosing a family name and a name I thought a bit different and sort of catchy and I still like it very much.

There are some logistics involved, of course. You will need to set up your website and social media as your alter ego. This may require some juggling if you also use things like Facebook and Twitter under your own name. You will usually need to disclose your true identity to your publisher, unless you are strictly self-published. Publishers have to report to the IRS and must have your legal information. Interestingly enough, according to Writing-World.com, “A pseudonym has no existence as a ‘legal’ entity; no matter what name you put on your work, the ultimate responsibility for that work always rests on you.” This includes the responsibility for any legal action taken against your “pen” name.

Authors often struggle with the decision of whether or not to write under a pen name and there are many very good reasons to choose to write under another name. The big one for me was to keep my real name hidden for professional reasons. Another might be because the writer wishes to write in different genres without having author confusion. Does your real name have appeal in the genre you write in? Changing it may help with sales. Is your real name too generic? Would you be easily confused with another author? You might want to use a pen name for clarity.

I am currently contemplating adopting a new pen name and persona for my contemporary works. I’m primarily branding Jenna Jaxon as a writer of historical romance. There may be, however, some confusion on the part of my readers who see my name linked to contemporary, erotic works. I’ve toyed with the idea for several years and I think I’m nearing a decision. Of course, when and if I make my decision, you may never know. Of course, if you find a new author on the block, it might just be me!

Ouija believe I have Paranormal Author L.D. Rose Guestblogging? by Stacy Hoff

Halloween banner

Happy Halloween Passionate readers! To celebrate Nights of Passion 2015 Spooktacular, I have on paranormal author L.D. Rose. L.D is one of the most interesting people I know—she is a full time doctor, as well as a writer of dark romance. Her ability to perform well in two impossibly difficulty professions is… well, spooky! Read on to learn all about the uncanny L.D. Rose, and a chance to win one of her ebooks!

LD RoseHeadshot LdRoseDemons

OUIJA: An innocent game or a direct link to the underworld?

Wikipedia defines Ouija as the following:

“The ouija, also known as a spirit board or talking board, is a flat board marked with the letters of the alphabet, the numbers 0–9, the words “yes”, “no”, “hello” (occasionally), and “goodbye”, along with various symbols and graphics. It uses a planchette (small heart-shaped piece of wood or plastic) as a movable indicator to indicate a spirit’s message by spelling it out on the board during a séance. Participants place their fingers on the planchette, and it is moved about the board to spell out words.”

I didn’t discover Ouija until around late middle/early high school when I really started to get into the paranormal. My mother would never purchase such a silly board for my sister and I, so we surfed the net and created one of our own. Using a white posterboard, we mapped out the letters and numbers in black Sharpie marker, very plain and simple, no magnets, no nothing. I read that glass should be used for the planchette, since glass is somehow a better “conductor” to the spiritual realm, so I stole one of my dad’s brandy snifters. Flipping it upside down, we placed our fingers on the base in order to work its magic.

Disclaimer: I grew up in a haunted house (link: http://www.debbiechristiana.com/blog/welcome-to-curiosities-with-author-linda-rose). For realsies. And I wasn’t satisfied with my ghostly interactions—I wanted to talk to these spirits, to learn where they came from, how they died, what the afterlife was like. So my sister and I took it upon ourselves to create our own comm link to the underworld and perform séances because why the heck not?

It started out pretty innocent, just the two of us playing on the tiled floor of our basement. We had a lot of garbled junk initially, nothing that really made sense. Some say if you don’t believe in it, nothing happens. Maybe we were still uncertain, hence the spiritual “static.” But the more we played, the clearer the conversations became and we interacted with a lot more than a few innocent ghosts.

A LOT more.

And not only did it happen in my haunted house but it worked wherever we took the board.

LdRose ghost

Frankly, I don’t remember a single name of the spirits we interacted with since there were so many. They would literally come in and out of the board, talking to us for a few minutes then leaving the snifter still for a while. We would first ask if anyone was there (what a cliché!) and most would say “yes.” Some would even have a sense of humor and say “no.” Sometimes they would give us their name, sometimes they wouldn’t, sometimes they would tell us to [CENSORED] off. We asked how they died and they replied with a variety of answers, from drownings to fires to murders. Those who were murdered were always angry. Those who committed suicide were always sad and expressed their regrets. Some were happy in the afterlife, others weren’t. It almost seemed as if they lived in a world parallel to ours, with the same memories, fears, and sorrows.

Of course, we would both constantly accuse each other of moving the snifter, especially in the beginning, when we still weren’t sure if it was real. Over time though, we became more and more convinced, and we never questioned one another again.

So what made us stop? Well, the spirits became aggressive—and they started to reach through the board.

While playing one evening (we literally made this an every weekend and sometimes weekday event), we were chatting with a particularly sketchy spirit. We kept asking him/her questions and he/she would often give us the silent treatment. Then it suddenly said “purple.”

We had four candles lit at either corner of the board, now worn and dull from our frequent use. I’d been staring at one of the purple candles moments before. I looked across the board at my sister and whispered, “I was just looking at that purple candle.” Her jaw dropped and I asked her to think of something random. The board said, “carpet,” and her eyes bulged. This went back and forth a few more times and my sister thought of the candle again. Without warning, each candle went out, one right after the other. Then her phone suddenly rang, and the board correctly told us who was on the other line. We gaped at each other, stunned and terrified, and the snifter began to whip back and forth between the letters “H” and “A”, saying “HAHAHAHAHA”.

That’s when we decided to freak the [CENSORED] out!

LdRose candel

It was the first (and last) time something like that ever happened and we didn’t pick up the board again for a long time. We did end up playing once more at my cousin’s house (how could we resist?) and her home was never the same after that (she suddenly had a few unwelcome ghostly visitors). So we stopped permanently, since we were doing far more damage than good.

I’ve got to confess, even now in my thirties, I’m still tempted to make a new board and see if I still have the “touch.” But then I remember all the chaos it caused and it’s probably safer to leave it alone.

For now. ;)

Is that Blood? with Elizabeth Heiter by Heather Novak

Happy Halloween, Nights of Passion readers! Halloween Pumpkin In A Mystic Forest At Night

hunted

As a paranormal writer and horror enthusiast, it takes a lot to scare me. I’ve seen a ghost and I’ll admit it.

What keeps me up at night is the psychological stuff.  After a lot of thought, I decided to share with you all the first author in a long time who scared the absolute pants off me! Her books are just that good.

I put a bat underneath my bed and slept with a light on.

Don’t worry! You’ll have the chance to be scared out of your mind, too. Because I’m givin’ away an autographed book!

Please welcome the amazing, panic inducing, brilliant psychological and romantic suspense author Elizabeth Heiter! I’m super lucky to know her in real life from my Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America chapter. She’s an awesome author and an awesome friend.

Elizabeth, it’s so spook-tacular that you could join us! Please, tell us a little about yourself!

ElizabethHeiterWeb

All my life, I wanted to be a writer – and specifically, a mystery novelist.  From a young age, I was obsessed with hero(in)es and villains, fast-paced plots, and surprises.

Apparently, when I was still young enough to be tucked into bed every night, I used to breathe heavily through my teeth and then tell my mom, “Darth Vader is under my bed.” Clearly, I had an active imagination, and needed an outlet like writing!  Not long after that, I could be found everywhere (walking through a supermarket, up in the branches of a tree, under my covers with a light) either reading or writing.

Liz's birds

I grew up in Michigan, got my degree (in English Literature, of course!) from the University of Michigan, and I still live here.  My house is full of chatter – and when it’s not me reading aloud while I work, it’s my lovebirds

or my parrot (who has a handful of words, and can do a great catcall!).

Liz with bird on shoulderWriting two series (one in psychological suspense and one in romantic suspense) and working a day job keeps me busy, but in my free time, I love to ski, spend time with family

and friends, and of course, to read!  I’m also trying to get back to some old hobbies: calligraphy and playing the violin.  And in case I get bored, there’s always some new house project I can take up (I’m a do-it-yourselfer, and I’ve put in all new floors, re-landscaped my yard, etc.).

What are some books you have out now? We want some good Halloween reads!

I have books in two series available.

The first is my psychological suspense series, The Profiler books, which feature FBI profiler Evelyn Baine.  She’s a dedicated agent who was drawn to the job because her best friend was abducted when Evelyn was twelve and was never found.  Now, Evelyn’s got an innate talent for getting into the heads of killers, and it sends her all over the country, solving cases.  In HUNTED, she tracked a serial killer known as the Bakersville Burier; in VANISHED, she tackled her best friend’s case when the Nursery Rhyme Killer returned after eighteen years of silence.  Next up, she’ll be back in SEIZED, when she winds up on the wrong side of a hostage situation and in the middle of an emerging terrorist threat.

hunted Vanished Seized

This series freaked me the heck out! Bat under the bed folks, seriously.

My other series, The Lawmen books, is a series of romantic suspense books.  The first three, DISARMING DETECTIVE, SEDUCED BY THE SNIPER, and SWAT SECRET ADMIRER, feature three friends who made a pact to join the FBI after violence tore apart their lives.  Now, a decade later, the threat returns…

disarming-detective-cover seduced-sniper-cover swat-cover

I devoured The Lawmen Books in three days! Couldn’t put them down!

You can learn more about all of the books, as well as AVENGED, the free short story that will be available this December, featuring Evelyn from The Profiler series, at www.elizabethheiter.com.

How do you do your research for these stories?

Liz shooting gun

Shooting a gun in a skirt and heels. This is possibly my favorite picture of Liz! – Heather

My research is a combination of reading a ton of real-life stories about serial killers, Special Agents, and forensics, and more hands-on research.  It’s important to me to be as accurate as I can in the way I portray my characters, so I’ve talked to a lot of current and

former Special Agents, and I’ve visited FBI field offices and the Academy at Quantico.  I’ve even trekked through the Academy’s “Hogan’s Alley” training area and shot weapons on their firing range!

Does your research ever give you nightmares?

Usually, the research doesn’t give me nightmares, but I did find that after I read about a dozen profiling books in a row (on serial killers), I was starting to have trouble sleeping!  I had to take a break and do a little lighter reading for a while!  Sometimes, the research can be disturbing, but I try to do it the way a profiler would – from a psychological perspective.  I hope that it helps me write better stories.  And although some of it can be gross, a lot of it (how to write a profile, for example) is really interesting!

Do you prefer soccer or hockey? Beer or wine?

I’m a bad Detroiter, because I really don’t watch sports.  I did go to U of M during a time when we had a phenomenal football team, so for a while, I was a devoted football game attendee.  As for the drinks, definitely wine (and I’d pair it with chocolate!)

I know you have eclectic taste in music. What are some of your favorite songs to write to?

Hmmm, that’s a hard one.  I do have eclectic musical taste – I’ve got everything from classical to pop to rock to country to R&B on my player, and I usually put it on shuffle when I write.  I find that a song with a good, fast beat gets me started, and then I eventually just tune it all out once the words start flowing.  One soundtrack that I can always write to, no matter the story, is the one from Last of the Mohicans!

Who are some authors you love to read when you find time?

There are so many!  I wish I had more time, so I could keep up with them all!  But a few favorites include Lisa Gardner, Laura Griffin, Hank Phillippi Ryan, and Tess Gerritsen.

Scariest or silliest Halloween costume you’ve ever had?

It may come as no surprise to discover that I’ve dressed up as an FBI agent on more than Liz as ailenone occasion.  When I was a kid, one of my more creative costumes was a scarecrow – I had the straw hat, the face paint, the overalls, the plaid shirt, and I even put a yardstick behind my back and out the sleeves with straw where my hands would go (my arms were down below, holding my candy basket!).  As for silly?  How about my alien?

Are you planning on dress up this year?

I don’t think I’m going to dress up this Halloween (I’ll probably be writing!), but if I were, in honor of X-Files coming back to TV (I watched that when it was on the first time around), I think I’d have to be some sort of strange alien again!

What is up next for you?

Right now, I’m actually in the middle of writing two brand new proposals for more books connected to each of my series!  There will be new details on that up on my website as soon as I know more!

Thanks, Elizabeth, for joining us! I can’t wait to read more books that will keep me checking my locks at night.

Now, let’s get down to business. Let’s give away a book!

What do you win?

An autographed Elizabeth Heiter book of your choice!

(Must be currently released. Books are either trade or mass market paperback)

How do you win?

Just type “Trick or Treat!” in the comments section to enter.

A Contest and Halloween Fun!

For me, Halloween used to be a holiday of endurance. It wasn’t so much the eating of candy but the hunt and trek throughout my neighborhood to fill my pillowcase– and go back for even more. My friends and I were determined to have the most candy even if we couldn’t eat it all. It was serious business. My mom loved it as our neighborhood was prime territory for trick-or-treaters and often my candy would bolster the supply for those coming to our house (yes, that’s a bit cheap but nobody really suffered!)

With age and a family, I find my Halloween experience changing. It is more about short bursts of fun and creating memorable experiences. This year we went to the Great Pumpkin Festival at the botanical garden in our city. I have to say it was a lot of fun. Bobbing for “creatures ,” pony rides, kettle corn, corn dogs, picking our pumpkins and decorating them. The kids had a ball and I have some great pictures to show.

So what’s in store for future Halloweens? Who knows. I’m a complete scaredy cat so nothing dreadfully frightening, but I do believe this holiday becomes more fun each year. Which brings me to our contest! Leave a message about the most fun you’ve ever had on Halloween by 11:59 pm Eastern on October 31st to be entered in a random raffle for a $20.00 Amazon gift card (or Barnes and Noble). Don’t forget to include your email (That is required)! Void where prohibited by law.

Spooktacular Interview with Jordan K Rose!

Welcome my lovelies! Today I will be presenting you with a spooky awesome interview with Paranormal Romance Author Jordan K Rose. And yes, I do love using the words spooky and lovelies because it’s October!

Please welcome our awesome author! She’d got some cool stuff to share :)

Question #1: It’s great to meet you! For readers out there who might not be familiar with your work, and not reading the blog title, what do you write?

Thanks so much for having me. It’s great to be on Nights of Passion. I write primarily vampire romance, though I do have a spicy paranormal short story series, Short Seductions that features a different paranormal creation in each story.

Question #2: Weird Reading/Writing habits :) Some authors can only write at night, in their pajamas, or with that sweet, sweet, coffee in hand. Do you have any quirks that help you get through your writing schedule? Do any of these things bleed over into your reading habits?

I find I’m most productive in the morning and have carved out time for writing only before lunch. Sometimes, if things are going well, I’ll write in the afternoon. But mostly I have to write in the morning. And, if I let myself get sidetracked at all, it’s all over. I fall out of writing mode and into “what other stuff can I get done” mode.

I have carved out about 20 minutes every morning to read before writing, but I’m pretty good about stopping and getting to work right after breakfast. Plus, I always go back to reading in the evening. However, left on my own without goals, I’d read the entire day and forget about everything.

Question #3: Spooky fun. Since you like to write paranormal, and since this week is Spooktacular, do you ever do any special stories or get inspired for a story for Halloween?

I rarely focus on Halloween, which probably sounds funny considering the paranormal focus. In my books most of the characters focus on everyday (night) living so Halloween isn’t a big deal to them. The main character in my Eva Prim Series, Eva, has a birthday on October 3. Most Octobers I do something for her birthday earlier in the month.

Question #4: A day in the life. What does your ideal day look like? Being seduced by vampires? Curling up with a good book? Or writing your next great scene?

My ideal day would have me getting up after sunrise for a leisurely morning with hubby and the dogs, breakfast and then reading. Then maybe lunch with hubby and some antiquing before we came home where I’d get to read some more.

My typical day starts at 5:30 and is a whirlwind of activity, keeping everything on schedule so that I’m at my desk and writing by 8:30. However, I’d be lying if I said I don’t enjoy every second of it! :)

Question #5: Sinful teasers: What are you working on now? Or is it top secret?

Right now I’m working on two things: the 6th story in the Central City Romance Series, Gabe and Aurelia’s story and a secret, exciting project for Eva Prim’s Snack Of The Week Club. This project will go live in January, though I’ll begin to share details with the group next month. If you like funny vampires, Eva’s your girl. You can join her Snack Of The Week Club at http://www.evaprim.com/snackofWeek.html.

Final: Where is the best place readers can find out more about you and your work?

I’m going to share all my links so everyone has a choice, but the best way to keep up with what’s going on in my world is to subscribe to my newsletter. Anyone who does, gets FREE books! :) Join here: http://jordankrose.com.

Spooktacular Special: Interview with Paranormal Author Kristine Overbrook

spooktacular

Welcome to a week of Spooktacular postings on Nights of Passion for Halloween. I’ll starting off the week with a howl of delight. I’m interviewing paranormal author Kristine Overbrook whose works include Paratherapist at Your Service, Creatures of the Moon, and her newest release, Redeeming the Night. Kristine is giving away an e-copy of Redeeming the Night today and even though I don’t write paranormal, I’m giving away a copy of my latest historical romance, Only Marriage Will Do, today, just to celebrate the season. :) To enter to win either or both books, please leave a comment telling us you’d like a copy of the book. The giveaways will run until midnight tonight (October 25, 2015) EDT. Void where prohibited by law.

And now, my fantastic paranormal friend, Kristine Overbrook answers some fun questions about her, things that go bump in the night, and her work.

Who is your favorite scary author and what is your favorite book by them?

My favorite scary author is Edgar Allen Poe. His turn of phrase is timeless and his skill in building the suspense and putting the reader in the story. My favorite tale of his is The Cask of Amontillado. I can still hear the bells on Fortunato’s hat.

What are you most afraid of?

Clowns. There is nothing funny about them. Any aspect, deliberate face camouflage, clothing in offensive clashing colors, and oversized shoes, are signs of pure evil. Oh, and I’m not too keen on heights either. A clown on a plane would render me catatonic.

Have you ever had a close encounter of the ghostly kind?

When I was a child, I stayed with my aunt for a week one summer. When we were bringing in groceries I thought my cousin was behind me. When I turned, she wasn’t there, but I smelled a floral perfume. When I told my cousin that I liked her perfume, she started to cry and ran in the house. My aunt told me later that they’d been experiencing visitations by a little girl ghost that was accompanied by that smell. Just thinking of that week gives me the creeps.

Where did you get the idea for your latest scary/paranormal story?

In the condom isle of the pharmacy.

What is your favorite scary movie?

Since we’re not on the phone I’ll tell you. For the longest time, it was Scream. Lately, it’s World War Z.

What was your process for writing this book? Is this different or the same as other books you’ve written?

This book was written over the course of a couple years. So, several sections were             written out of order. I’d even sometimes rewrite a section that I wasn’t sure if I’d       written. It was a most disjointed process. Thanks to my fabulous editors I was able to           smooth it out. So far, the reviewers like it.

Do you have plans for a sequel to this book?

This book is a sequel. It stands alone, but the first book is Creatures of the Moon.

Who has been the greatest influence on your writing?

My biggest influence has been Laura Kitchell (Author of Lady of the Imperial City) She   was the first writer I’d ever met in person. She helped me believe in myself, in my         writing. I only hope one day I will be able to pay that forward.

Now, Lightning Round:

Tea or coffee?

Coffee

French manicure or color (and if color, what color)?

Color, anything metallic.

Beach or mountains?

Mountains

Chocolate or vanilla?

Chocolate

Boxers, briefs or commando?

Whatever makes him comfortable.

Blond, brunette or redhead? (preferred men’s hair color)

Brunette

Would you rather skydive or scuba dive?

Scuba. As long as there are no clowns.

Would you rather vacation in Hawaii, Vegas or London?

Hawaii.

What’s the one thing you would never do?

I’m not one to exclude. I’ve found that once I make a declaration like that I’m led down       a road to that very thing. Though, sky diving with a clown comes to mind.

Thank you so much for being my guest today, Kristine. Here’s the cover and blurb for Redeeming the Night. Be sure to leave a comment if you’d like the chance to win a copy!

Contest, Dangerous Decisions, and Romance Author RC Bonitz!

Hi there, Nights of Passion fans. It’s good to be back even as a guest. (Yes, I used to contribute to NoP way back when, waaaay back, in ancient times, when Susan was just starting.) Thanks for inviting me back, Susan.

I don’t blog hop very much these days. Facebook and my own blog (http://www.rcbonitz.com) keep me busy enough, and with autumn in the air I’d rather be enjoying the brisk breezes at the end of the sailing season and writing novels. I only have three in the works right now and one in promotion. Heh heh, you knew I’d get to that didn’t you. Well, I might as well mention the book in question now that I have your attention.

Dangerous Decisioms smallEver hear the saying, “the grass is always greener etc.”? Ever feel that way in your own life? That could be a dangerous thought if you give it legs. It might call for DANGEROUS DECISIONS, which just happens to be the title of my fourth book. Megan believes in loyalty and commitment, but her live-in boyfriend isn’t in very much these days. And then of course there’s that total stranger her four-year old daughter invited to move in with them. The dog-pound helper-outer? He seems to have a few secrets up his sleeve. Then again, it turns out the boy friend does too.

Here’s a tidbit from DANGEROUS DECISIONS:

Occasional snatches of conversation reached her from the bathroom as Jordan and Wade carried on their endless chitchat.

The man was very patient for darn sure. Why did he hang around them so much? Because of Jordan? Was he some kind of pervert who had fixed on her daughter? She shivered at the thought. He couldn’t be interested in her. Could he? A thrill ran up her back. Stop it Megan Weston, you’re a mother and in a committed relationship. She stopped abruptly in the midst of slicing carrots.

The sounds from the bathroom had ceased and Megan strained to hear Jordan’s voice or Wade’s, or the sounds of tools being used on the door. Not a single bit of noise reached her ears.

He liked Jordan? Too much? Oh God! What was he doing in there?

She charged down the hall and threw open the bathroom door. Almost. The door flew open just a little bit before something very solid brought it to a halt. A loud thud was followed by a clatter as something metallic crashed to the tile floor.

“Owww! What the devil?” Wade yelled.

Megan cringed. Oh dear, what had she done?

She stuck her head through the partially open door and grimaced. Wade lay on the floor behind the door, a hand over his right eye, blood streaming down his nose. Across the room Jordan tried to restrain an agitated Betsy, who gave voice to her upset with loud barking. Jordan stared at Megan, a look of utter consternation on her face.

“You don’t believe in knocking, I gather,” Wade growled as he staggered to his feet and turned to face Megan.

Blood streamed from a gash at the bridge of his nose and he still held that hand to his eye.

Jordan was absolutely fine. She’d half-killed Wade for nothing.

“I’m so sorry. Are you all right?”

“I’m not entirely sure. Let me get out of your way. Jordan, come on. Your Mommy has to use the bathroom.” He started to step around Megan, his hand still plastered against his eye.

“Oh, no that’s all right. Let me get something for that cut.”

He frowned then winced. “You don’t need to use the bathroom? I thought you were in a hurry.”

Heat rose to her face. How to explain she’d thought he was a pervert? She needed an excuse, another reason for braining him with the doorknob. Oh well, she could take the one he’d given her.

“Oh yes. I’m just upset. I have to pee.” Oh crap, why don’t you stick your foot in your mouth Megan? Nobody said you had to be so specific.

There you go. That’s only the first calamity to befall our hero. That’s all about the book for now.

About RC Bonitz

I’ve been writing forever, or so it seems sometimes. Long enough that I don’t recall my beginnings exactly, say about 1995. My first novel wasn’t intended to be a romance, but it almost came out that way. I killed the hero though, an absolute no-no in romance, but it made for a good story. Since then I’ve never started out to write a romance but they all keep coming out that way. Must be in the genes- my grandson still writes love poems to his wife. I’m a great-grandfather you see. Wonder what kind of romance a great-grandfather writes? Aha- read DANGEROUS DECISIONS and see.

Thanks again, Susan. RC Bonitz

Thanks, RC!
