Some Christmas Songs

Just in time for Christmas Eve caroling, here's two new X-Mas anthems.

First up is Eraserhead's own Andrew Goldfarb.  "Santa Claws" is his new Christmas song and features guest performance by his guinea pig Coco.

"My guinea pig Coco played percussion on my new Christmas song. His jingle-bell jangling has not been edited or enhanced; just pure rockin' guinea pig-ness."

Next, we have "All I Want for Christmas is a Job" by Gary Stockdale and Spencer Green.  You may know...

A Report from the Front Lines

That cat represents Eraserhead Press.

Things may seem quiet lately to those on the outside – but life in the Bizarro Bunker is as frantic as ever.  We've been laying down some grand plans for the coming year.

2009 was a huge year for me.  Shatnerquake, my first book, was released and got praised by Boing Boing, Wil Wheaton, and Wizard Magazine.  In November, over 6,000 people downloaded the PDF for free in 24 hours.  The book was a huge (by my standards) success and I owe it to everyone that...

Awesome New Shatnerquake Review

David Raffen posted an amazing review of Shatnerquake at Amazon.com.  It made me so happy that I just had to share it with everyone:

"Jeff Burk's Shatnerquake is the finest story ever told containing multiple William Shatners. Lesser authors have been shackled before now with writing only one role for Shatner. This is understandable, in the field of television and film, for logistical reasons. However, this has never been the case in the literary realm and Burk has led the way here with both...

I'm back from spending the weekend at OryCon.  It was a pretty fun time.  I attended a bunch of panels, ate a whole lot of Brie, and spread the Bizarro gospel to the masses.

There are a few other updates that everyone should be aware of:

- The Bizarro Book Giveaway is over.  Thank you to everyone that took the time to download the books.  Remember, all the authors are independent artists and don't have the advantages of a marketing time or thousands in ad money.  They depend upon readers to...
