Punk Rock Marketing and Magic


Penny Rimbaud was the founder, drummer, and lyricist for the seminal anarcho band Crass.  Inspirational to thousands of youth the world over, Crass broke new ground in what could musically be considered punk and how a punk band could present itself.

Famous Author Mykle Hansen


Mykle Hansen is one of my very favorite bizarro authors.  His stories are biting in their over-the-top gross-outs, and extreme satirical wit.  While most of bizarro foresakes politics, Hansen takes delight in tearing apart the aspects of our society he can't stand – be it soulless business men or multi-national mega-corporations.  That's not to say his books are serious, you might not even notice the political commentary because you'll be laughing too hard.

New Article about Creativity, Marketing, and Shatnerquake


You may remember Internet Marketing Webzine did an article about internet marketing and Shatnerquake and Pride &Prejudice and Zombies.  There was recently a follow-up article done.  They got some of the facts wrong (and my name) but I'm happy with the piece overall.

Live in 2010


I just started a new page on my site keeping track of all my live appearances for 2010 – click here to check it out.  My first events of 2010 are happening in just a few weeks.

First is RADCON in Pasco, WA from Feb 12-14.  The whole Eraserhead Press team will be there.  I'll be performing and will have more info in the coming weeks.

Next is for all my Portland Peeps.  On Wednesday, February 18th I'll be performing at NAKED LOBSTER CABARET, a new semi-monthly series of multi-media events...

Great Eli Roth Interview


There is an excellent article by Eli Roth over at Mediaite talking about his years as a filmmaker.  It's really long but it's worth reading the whole thing.  It's fascinating seeing how far he was willing to go to get his movies made.  Any other creative person should be inspired by his determination and success:
