I was writing my story for the Time is Eternity Daily Dose over at Dreamspinner and it got me thinking about time travel in popular culture. I’m a HUGE movie/pop culture junky, and I started wondering- What happened to all the great time travel movies?

New Ash and Echoes chibis!

Here are the latest chibi versions of Gus’s characters from the upcoming Ash and Echoes novel. The first is Duncan, a duty-oriented knight dedicated to seeing the prince safely to his marriage. He isn’t at all fond of the aristocratic mage, Yarrow, when their expedition starts out…

This character is very vital to the world of Ash and Echoes, but we’re afraid you’ll have to read the book to find out how and who he is! He’s one of Gus’s personal favorite characters.

Chibi Yarrow

Here’s a chibi version of Yarrow, my mage from Ash and Echoes. My friend Beau did the line work and I colored him in. He’s the first of three. I plan to make them into keychains, stickers, and other cool things to give out as prizes for online contests or at cons.

Ash and Echoes will be out in June at Dreamspinner Press. It’s my first crack at high fantasy, and it’s long (125k). I think it’s really different and am eager to see how it will be received.
