Someday, I'll be paid.
Writing for me, as always been an enjoyable hobby. My husband says until he sees a check, it still is. All of the work required to write seriously leads one to think that, paid or not, this is definitely a career. As long as he's paying most of the bills I will have a hard time convincing him of that.
The actual writing is very enjoyable. I love creating characters and building a story-world. From the start of a story until the bitter end I have a great time creating, but then comes after.
