Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the next big thing: wearable poetry. Yes, that is a thing now. I’ve made it a thing.

Not only has fashion met poetry, they go together better than one could have ever imagined. Pure serendipity. The synergy is #trending in the form of my Love, A Haiku T-Shirt, which as the name suggests, is a t-shirt emblazoned with a haiku that I wrote many years ago. I’ve long looked for ways to present poetry to the masses outside of the bounds of a chapbook and Love really tugs on the heartstrings.

Indiscretions – Soft Launch

Hello there! I hope you’re all staying safe whether you’re at home in quarantine or out working or picking up essential items. We are indeed living in interesting times.

I’ve decided to do a soft launch of my flagship screenplay, Indiscretions. I had initially intended to do a launch so soft that there wouldn’t even be an announcement, instead allowing interested readers to discover it on your own. That idea was scuppered after I quietly posted the book to the Kindle store at about 1:30 AM on Tuesday, only to wake up to an email suggesting that I submit it as an entry to Amazon’s Storyteller UK 2020 award competition.

As a result, Indiscretions is now available for free with Kindle Unlimited and will be free in the Kindle store on Saturday. Save the date. If you’ve never read a screenplay before, it should be an interesting experience. Quarantine time is a great opportunity to try something new. If a regular novel is more your cup of tea, I have already started the script to novel conversion, so keep an eye out for that.

Out of the Blue

Serendipity.

Life can change in an instant. In fact, most life changes take less than a moment. You’re in one state and then you are in another state and there really is no transition, no connecting element, just one NOW becoming another NOW. Yes, I was adjunct to a multi vehicle collision this week and had a major Final Destination moment, but that’s not what I’m going on about. No. Life’s trajectory shifts don’t always come with drama or fanfare. Life just sneaks up on you and overtakes you and that’s life, I suppose.

Today I received an email that has shifted my focus. I started binge-writing poems and song lyrics with good old fashioned pen and paper in the early months of 2018, but life happened and I had to put the “Poems and Lyrics” series on hold. This email has basically prompted me to go take those handwrittem items and go publish them in a very tight timeframe. So, instead of resting on my laurels after launching NOTHING, I’m going to have to resume not sleeping so we can enjoy another book launch in the next few weeks. How exciting! Get ready. We have another journey to make.

Wrapping Up Summer in Island Glam Style

Hello lovelies!

It’s September and the summer is starting to wind down, even here on the island of forever summer.

It’s raining today, which is kind of awesome because summer afternoon lightning really puts on a show! I’m lazing around on this gorgeous Sunday afternoon with lightning and thunder really going for it and rain pelting down the place when I feel an urge to really capture the essence of summer. Inspiration struck.

So, with much further ado and a lot of fanfare, I present my Island Glam sandal design. It’s currently available for pre-order for a limited edition run. It’s so limited that the production run won’t even happen without the first seven pre-orders. These are so nice, butter soft Italian suede/leather handcrafted in Italy, yet stiĺl capturing my laid-back Island vibe. I’ve already ordered mine and the design has already received an editor’s choice award. It’s like a novel, but for your feet, because your style also tells a story.
