Will You Help Me Launch My Next Book?

My next book — 18 Steps to Own Your Life: Simple Powers for a Healthier, Happier You — goes on sale on Tuesday March 6.

But I would love to send you a free advance PDF copy now. Just join my launch team!

Join the 18 Steps to Own Your Life Launch Team

Launch team members get a free advance PDF copy of the book. All I ask in return is that you write and post one or two honest reviews on Amazon and / or other websites. I’ll send you all the details about how and when to do this if you sign up for the launch team.

Launch Team Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When do I get the book?

A: Just sign up for the launch team and I’ll send you an email right away with a link to download a PDF copy of the book.

Q: What do I have to do as part of the launch team?

A: All that’s required is that you post at least one honest review on Amazon or another website. Closer to launch date, I will send you all the details about how, when and where to leave reviews.

Q: What do you mean by an “honest” review?

A: I hope you like the book! But if you don’t, that’s fine. It’s your review.

Q: How long is this review I’m supposed to write?

A: The review can be short. Even a couple sentences is okay!

Q: Is the book you’re sending me the same as the one that goes on sale?

A: Mostly, but not quite. What I’m sending you is an uncorrected proof. The book has not gone through it’s final copy edit and it has not yet been properly laid out on the page. In addition, the book that goes on sale on March 6 comes with free download bonuses which aren’t quite ready yet. When the book goes on sale, I will send you a free final version with live links to these bonus freebies.

Q: Is there a catch? Why are you doing this?

A: No catch. Getting honest reviews as soon as a book launches is critical to help a book reach a bigger audience. Giving away free advance copies is a good investment on my part to ensure that the book does well at launch.

Gratitude Mad Libs

Sometimes, being grateful comes easy. At other times, we need some inspiration. So today I wanted to share Gratitude Mad Libs I created that can help you when you’re struggling with gratitude.

Nine months ago, I got a second chance at life when my little sister donated a kidney to me. So each month, I take a day to be grateful for all the wonderful things I have in life. This month, I used the Gratitude Mad Libs tool to put together my gratitude list. Scroll down to download your own copy.

So Much to Be Grateful For

There is so much to be grateful for, if only I choose to see it.

I am grateful for Thai coconut soup and Christmas and baseball.

These simple things bring me joy.

I am grateful for the color green and for when I feel compassion.

I am grateful for my son Bryson and the times we hug.

I am grateful that I can nurture my soul when I read Jonathan Fields and listen to The Smiths.

I am grateful that I am creative. I can imagine a Christmas celebration where Coconut Thai soup is served on golden platters. Everyone I love is there including my son Bryson who dances a jig with a green raven.

I am grateful that life is wonderful, in my imagination and in the here and now.

I am grateful for today.

This gratitude list is especially delightful for me because my son Bryson is in a wheelchair and can’t walk (yet!), let alone dance (with a green raven).

Blogger Challenge

I thought it might be fun to challenge all you other bloggers out there to use this Gratitude Mad Libs tool to write a gratitude post of your own.

Rules: Here’s how it works:

Use the gratitude Mad Libs tool to create your own gratitude list and post it on your blog.
Nominate any number of bloggers you’re grateful for by linking to their blog. Let them know by leaving a comment on a blog post
Thank the person who nominated you by linking back to their blog
Include this list of rules in your post and link back to this post so the people you nominated can access the Gratitude Mad Libs tool.

Here’s a list of bloggers I’m especially grateful for today. I tag you with gratitude and encourage you to use the gratitude Mad Lib.  You’re on this list because I’m grateful for you, but it’s entirely up to you if you want to participate!
