First, I can't help but wonder why a gay teen would even be on Grindr. There should be limits. But there you are. He was there and he almost lost his life. 

Evidently, some guy in Louisiana named Chance Seneca tried to kidnap and murder and gay teen that he'd hooked up with through Grindr. But more than that, he contemplated dismembering him. 

Of course, there was a plea agreement and the guy wound up pleading guilty to one count of kid...

From what I gather, there is a new book out about Chicago gay bars by two authors, Rick Karlin and St. Sukie de la Croix. It is titled, Last Call Chicago: a History of 1001 LGBTQ-friendly Taverns, Haunts, and Hangouts.
