Opening TODAY !!
Marilu is going to be appearing, once again, at the renowned Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope Pennsylvania. This theatre has a rich history and the town is well loved for it’s culture and idyllic setting. This production of Vanya and Sonia, Masha and Spike stars Marilu as Masha! Written by, and also starring, Charles Durang and directed by Sheryl Kaller (Mothers and Sons) this is a greatly anticipated highlight of the summer season.
Members check the Lounge, and your e-mail. We will be having a private party with Marilu again this year. If you missed it last year this is your chance. If you were there last year we know you want to come again and reconnect with Marilu and the rest of the Marilu.com family.

SUMMER AT MARILU.COM
There’s a lot going on here at Marilu.com this summer. Next up on our schedule is VIVA LA VEGAN, led by our fabulous mother/daughter coaching team, Jan and Kyra. This class has everything; from incredible, healthy, whole food recipes to instructional videos and the kind of information that Marilu was sharing for years before the rest of the world caught up with the message. Class begins JULY 21ST !!!
We’re also going to have a class on growing and cooking with fresh herbs. Join Marilu and Coach Dar and learn how to add a little spice to your summer!
We have our ongoing ten steps class which begins EVERY MONDAY. And we have all the latest info through THE MARILU HENNER SHOW, which airs live every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to noon (Pacific Time) and noon to 3:00 Eastern. You can listen on the continuous loop any time of day but call in while the show is live to talk to Marilu and be a part of the conversation.

STAY FIT
“BREAK A SWEAT FOR 10 MINUTES A DAY”

Ten minutes ! You can find ten minutes. You can. You don’t need to join a gym. You don’t need to own fancy equipment or work out clothes. Just do something physically active to work up a sweat and maintain that for TEN MINUTES. Here’s an interesting article about making that a habit.

SUMMER BRUNCH IDEA
Delicious, refreshing, and a change from the ordinary fare !! Add this Grapefruit Salad to you weekend brunch menu. It’s gluten free and vegan but good whole foods don’t really need a label do they?
2 large grapefruit cut in circles, and/or wedges
1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh mint, roughly torn
olive oil
sea salt
Combine grapefruit and onion in a shallow serving dish. About ten minutes before serving drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt.

Tips for Healthy Summer Travels
Being on the road doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your standards. Be sure to use your internet and your smart phones to check out local vegetarian festivals. VegFest is one that comes to mind as being a fun, inexpensive afternoon where you can buy cruelty free products, support animal rights organizations and find wonderful veggie and vegan food. There are street fairs in many towns and cities that will also have many of these features even when they aren’t advertised as veggie events.
You can also download apps, such as Happy Cow, that will tell you where to find the best restaurants on the road.
Enjoy your travels, AND be good to your conscience and your health !!
