Some Book Announcements!
I've received a lot of emails and Facebook posts and Tweets about my Kent Brothers series (Yay, and thank you for those!), especially asking if there was going to be a story for Brody and Tori. The answer is yes! Brody and Tori's story will be coming out this December, and will once again be sold as an individual novella and packaged in the Carina Press holiday anthology, this time with awesome authors HelenKay Dimon and Christi Barth! I'll have more details soon! And if you haven't read this contemporary romance series yet, you should read ALL SHE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS and A RARE GIFT, so you're caught up by December.
In other book related news, there will be a Play-by-Play novella releasing next June! If you've read CHANGING THE GAME, you might remember Victoria Baldwin, the smart, savvy sports agent that Liz interacted with. Victoria will get her story in IN THE SWELL, which will be released in an anthology along with my story, WILD NIGHTS, my novella that was previously released in the now out of print Exclusive anthology. WILD NIGHTS features Mike Nottingham from WILD, WICKED and WANTON. So if you never got to read Mike's story, you'll be able to when the PLAYING WITH DESIRE anthology releases in June, 2013.
So excited about these two upcoming books!

Writer’s Brain
So I’m lying in bed last night and a scene from THROWN BY A CURVE–the book I’m currently working on–pops into my head. I know if I don’t get it written right away, it’ll be gone by morning. I’m not one of those authors who can think about something I want to write the next day and it’ll still be there. I’ve tried that before. I used to think, “Oh, I want to write about that tomorrow. I know I’ll remember it.” Yeah. Gone the next day. I mean completely gone. Learned my lesson on that one the hard way. My brain is like a colander, peppered with all these holes and all my great thoughts fall right through.
Anyway, I got up, grabbed the laptop and wrote the scene. And it was a really good one. Wish I could share, but not just yet.
I used to keep a notebook on the nightstand, because for some reason I always get plot line ideas whenever I’m in bed at night. I guess because my mind relaxes and I have the chance to see my story so clearly at that point. But for some reason I stopped doing that. So I either need to start up the notebook idea again, or maybe I should just get a second laptop to keep on the nightstand. Great idea, right?
Does this ever happen to you? You get in bed, and suddenly something pops into your head that you know you need to remember for the next day? (Please say yes)

A Big Thank You!
Yesterday I found out that TAKING A SHOT made both the USA Today and New York Times Bestseller lists! To say I was excited and stoked and stunned is an understatement. I'm super thrilled, and the book wouldn't have made these bestseller lists without you. You bought the book and you told other people about it and talked it up. I appreciate all the bloggers who gave me the time to talk about the book, and all the reviewers who read it and gave their opinions.
I thank you for every email and tweet and Facebook post you sent telling me how much you've loved the book and this series, and I can't wait to give you more in the world of sexy sports.
I couldn't have done this without you and your support. You are all more awesome than I can put into words (And I can get pretty wordy).
Thanks so much! xoxoxoxo
