Booksigning!

On July 25, from 5-8 p.m. I’ll be at Romance Writer’s of America’s Reader’s for Life Literacy Signing (the list of authors signing is on this page) at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. All proceeds go to literacy, so if you can manage to make this signing, a buttload of authors attend. It’s huge, and free to attend, so please stop on by. I have awesome swag to give away in addition to books to sign. There’s a map of authors attending, and since it isn’t alphabetical this year, you should use this map to plan which authors you want to see.

I hope to see you there!

Playing to Win ARC Contest at Goodreads!

If you have a Goodreads account, we’re running a contest to give away 8 ARCS of PLAYING TO WIN there! The contest runs until August 1st, so plenty of time to head on over and enter. Goodreads is a fun community of readers who share their love of books. I have a Goodreads account. It’s where I keep track of all the books I’ve read, what I’m currently reading, what I have on hand to be read, and where I share what I feel about the books I’ve loved.

Click here to be taken to the contest page.

Good luck!

PLAYING TO WIN ARC Giveaway!

I haven’t blogged in awhile. Bad me. Been working nonstop on books here, so hopefully you’ll forgive me!

In order to assuage my utter guilt about not blogging, how about an ARC Giveaway of my upcoming Play by Play book, PLAYING TO WIN? It releases on September 4th–less than 2 months away, y’all! (I’m excited–are you?)

Someone’s going to have to let down their guard…

Football star Cole Riley is notorious for doing as he pleases—on the field and off. He parties hard and fights harder, but if he doesn’t clean up his act, his career is over—so Cole reluctantly agrees to work with image makeover consultant Savannah Brooks. He’s not used to being told what to do, especially by some (admittedly hot) southern belle. As for Savannah, she’s not convinced she can transform this cocky (and aggressively sexy) force of nature. But she’s determined to give it her best shot.

When the sparks start to fly, Savannah lays down the ground rules: no personal complications. If she can turn off the tingle she feels every time Cole gives her a hot stare, he can turn off his desire as well. But for two people determined to have it all, a hands-off policy can only last so long before one of them yields.

To be entered to win, just post in the comments. I’ll draw a winner on Friday.

Rules and Notes:

Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.

Contest void where prohibited

Open to international entries.

This contest is for a print advance copy of Playing to Win.

New Cover Art!

How about some new cover art? This is THROWN BY A CURVE, Book 5 of my Play by Play series. It will release in March, 2013.

Here’s the back cover blurb:

She thinks she knows this player—but he has a few surprise moves.

For Alicia Riley, her job as a sports therapist for the St. Louis Rivers baseball team is a home run—until she becomes the primary therapist for star pitcher, Garrett Scott. Out of the lineup with an injury, he’s short-tempered, hard to handle, and every solid inch, a man.

Right now, the only demand he’s making on Alicia is that she get him ready to pitch in time for opening day. Except the sexual chemistry between them is so charged, Alicia’s tempted to oblige Garrett just about anything. But both their careers are at stake—one bad move and it’s game over for both of them.

Garrett also feels the hot sparks between them, and the way he figures it, what better therapy is there than sex? Now all he has to do is convince the woman with the power to make the call.

Tell me what you think! And to those of you celebrating Memorial Day weekend, be safe, and have a great weekend!

Digital Novella Releases!

I wanted to let you all know that some of my novellas from my Berkley anthologies will soon be available as digital novellas! In case you missed buying the anthologies in print and would like to read my novellas, they’ll be available to you in digital format only in the coming months. Here’s the schedule:

THE TIES THAT BIND from the UNLACED anthology will release November 6, 2012. This one’s already available for preorder from Amazon. I’ll be sure to put the other preorder links up on my website as soon as they’re available. And hopefully I’ll have a cover for this one very soon. :-)

You can read an excerpt from THE TIES THAT BIND here

Also releasing as digital only novellas:

NO STRINGS ATTACHED from the LACED WITH DESIRE anthology will release in February, 2013.

WILD NIGHTS from the EXCLUSIVE anthology will release in May, 2013. The EXCLUSIVE anthology has been out of print for a while, and if you read my three book anthology, WILD, WICKED & WANTON, you might remember Mike Nottingham. WILD NIGHTS is his story. :-)

I hope you’re as excited about these digital novellas as I am!

Thrown By A Curve Back Cover Copy

I’m working ever so diligently to finish up THROWN BY A CURVE, book 5 in my Play-by-Play series. Thought I’d share the back cover copy for this book, which will release next March. Hopefully I’ll have the cover soon.

Spring Stuff!!

I’m on deadline, so I’m afraid I have nothing interesting to say. But I have pictures of spring springing at my house!

My peonies are just getting ready to open. Another few days should do it, I think.

I love my clematis this year. It’s already blooming and oh so pretty, don’t you think?

But one of the sweetest things about our Clematis is the robin’s nest in the middle of it. Mama Robin let me get close enough to snap a shot of her this morning. Isn’t she adorable and fierce looking?

There are also birds nesting in the undercarriage of our old Jeep, but I’m not crawling under there to snap a picture. Still, they’re very adorable, even if we do have to park the Jeep until the babies fly away. *sigh* The things we do for new life around here. ;-)

I’d take photos of the vegetable garden, but not much to show yet since we just planted everything a week ago. Hopefully it won’t be a horrible summer like last summer where it was a million degrees and everything shriveled up and died. Except my jalapeños, which apparently thrive at a million degrees.

How are your trees and shrubs and flowers doing?
