Maya Banks WHISPERS IN THE DARK Giveaway!
The incredibly awesome Maya Banks new book, WHISPERS IN THE DARK releases next week. It's Book 4 of her amazing KGI series (and if you haven't read this series yet, you totally should).
She came to him when he needed her the most
She came to him at his lowest point. The voice of an angel, a whisper in the dark. She's the only thing that gets Nathan Kelly through his captivity, the endless days of torture and the fear that he'll never return to his family. With her help, he's able to escape. But he isn't truly free, because now she's disappeared and he's left with an all-consuming emptiness as he struggles to pick up the pieces of his life. Did he imagine his angel? Or is she out there, needing his help as he'd once needed hers?
Now he rushes to save her before it's too late
Shea has been on the run from people who will stop at nothing to exploit her unique abilities. She never wanted to drag Nathan, who'd already suffered so much, into danger, but she doesn't have a choice so she reaches out to him for help. Finally face-to-face after having already formed a soul-deep bond in hell, their emotional connection is even more powerful than their telepathic one. Nathan refuses to consider ever letting her go again, but she worries they can never have a life free of the dangers that dog her every step. He'll protect her with his every breath, but can he convince her that they are meant to face these threats together?
Because I love Maya Banks and love her books, I'm giving away FIVE copies of WHISPERS IN THE DARK!

Giveaway! Shannon Stacey's EXCLUSIVELY YOURS
I love this book. It's a wonderful, romantic, fun contemporary romance and the start of an awesome series by my wonderful friend, Shannon Stacey, who also happens to be an incredibly gifted author.
When Keri Daniels' editor finds out she has previous carnal knowledge of reclusive bestselling author Joe Kowalski, she gives Keri a choice: get an interview or get a new job.
Joe's never forgotten the first girl to break his heart, so he's intrigued to hear Keri's back in town—and looking for him. Despite his intense need for privacy, he'll grant Keri an interview if it means a chance to finish what they started in high school.
He proposes an outrageous plan—for every day she survives with his family on their annual camping and four-wheeling trip, Keri can ask one question. Keri agrees; she's worked too hard to walk away from her career.
But the chemistry between them is still as potent as the bug spray, Joe's sister is out to avenge his broken heart and Keri hasn't ridden an ATV since she was ten. Who knew a little blackmail, a whole lot of family and some sizzling romantic interludes could make Keri reconsider the old dream of Keri & Joe 2gether 4ever.

Thanksgiving is approaching here in the U.S., and I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who visit here on a regular basis. I'm so grateful for your support over the years. Thank you for reading my books, recommending them to others, and for being here with me. Without you, I wouldn't get to do what I love.
If you're traveling over this holiday weekend, I wish you a safe journey. I hope you enjoy the time you spend with the people you love, and that you enjoy their company. And if you're shopping on Black Friday (I will be…poor Biker Dude), I hope you avoid the crazy people.

A RARE GIFT ARC Giveaway!
A RARE GIFT, Book Two of my Kent Brother series, releases on December 5th from Carina Press. I'm so excited for you to read Wyatt and Calliope's story!
With a disastrous marriage behind him, Wyatt Kent has no interest in getting involved with any woman, let alone his ex-wife's younger sister. But when Calliope Andrews hires him to build an addition onto her daycare center, Wyatt can't help but notice she's a desirable woman, as warm and funny as his ex was cold and aloof.
Calliope fell hard for Wyatt the first time he walked through the door of her family's home, and can't believe her sister let him get away. He's still the star of all her fantasies, and she's determined to prove to him she's nothing like his manipulative ex. Wyatt may be all business, but Calliope sees the way he looks at her when he's supposed to be working…
It's not long before Wyatt and Calliope are keeping each other warm on cold December nights. But it's going to take a Christmas miracle for Wyatt to put his trust in love a second time.
I'm going to give away a digital ARC of A RARE GIFT. To enter to win, tell me if you've started your holiday shopping yet. I've already bought several things, which is pretty amazing for me since I usually procrastinate.
I'll choose a winner on Friday evening.

The Kent Brothers Series
If you haven't read my Kent Brothers series from Carina Press yet, the first book, ALL SHE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS, is on sale right now for $1.99 at Amazon and B&N
Big Star, Small-town Christmas
Country singer Riley Jensen would never have returned to her small Missouri hometown if her publicist hadn't come up with the scheme to tape a Christmas special there. So she never would have known that the man who broke her heart at eighteen—causing her to flee to Nashville—was now a widower with a seven-year-old daughter. Riley has ten years of angst-filled hit songs and Grammy awards to prove she doesn't need Ethan Kent. But suddenly, she can't help thinking of all she gave up by running away…
Ethan Kent knew Riley had the talent and the drive to make it as a singer. He also knew she wasn't going anywhere if she stayed in their nowhere town for him. Then one night and one huge mistake sent her running on the road to fame. Which doesn't mean he ever stopped loving her…
But with so much separating them, can Riley and Ethan find their way back together one magical country Christmas?
The second book in the series, A RARE GIFT, will be released next month!
And you can preorder A RARE GIFT, which will go on sale December 5th also at Amazon and B&N

All Kinds of Good News!
I have great news to share!
First, I'm thrilled to announce that THE PERFECT PLAY is a finalist in the RT BookReviews Reviewer's Choice Awards for Best Erotic Romance and for Book of the Year. I'm so honored by these nominations. Thank you to RT BookReviews!!
Second, I'm so excited to announce that I just inked a deal with Berkley for a new three book contemporary romance series. Set in fictional Hope, Oklahoma, this will be a small town romance series, published in mass market. The first book will likely release in 2013. As soon as I have more details like back cover blurbs and covers, I'll be sure to share.
And last but definitely not least, I received an amazing review for THE HEART OF A KILLER from the Happy Ever After blog at the USA Today. You can check it out here, but here's a snippet:
Burton has penned a tense, polished murder mystery/thriller… What makes the novel even more enticing is its lovers reacquainted theme with an HEA that will warm your heart.
Thank you, Lea for such a wonderful review, and thank you to the Happy Ever After blog!
Oh and we had a 5.6 earthquake here on Saturday night. Freaky stuff. Now I spent 13 years in California, so the whole-lotta-shakin'-goin'-on thing is not new to me, but I definitely don't expect it in OK. Guess I just can't get away from it. (Note: This doesn't exactly fall under 'good news'…but it sure was news…heh).
That's all my news for this Monday morning. Hope you all have a wonderful week!
