The Latest From MitchAlbom.com: Nearly $400K to be Given Away by S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon Funds
DETROIT – Ten Detroit charities and their projects – ranging from homes for the homeless to after school music classes – will reap benefits from the funds raised last December by “Mitch Albom’s S.A.Y. (Super All Year) Detroit Radiothon.” Checks will be handed to each of the ten charities’ representatives at a ceremony this Wednesday, March 26, 10 a.m. at the WJR Radio studios in the Fisher Building on West Grand Blvd.

Gleaners Community Food Bank
and his Time to Help volunteers visited Gleaners this Saturday and helped sort more than 20,000 pounds of food. Great team - hard working, and full of enthusiasm!

I did a London radio show two years ago with the gentleman quoted above. He is an old British art critic, famous for his acerbic tongue. Also on the program was a young gay female comedian who talked about wanting to get legally married.
As she spoke, Sewell harshly interrupted.
"Why should you get married?" he barked.
