Buy the Paperback at Barnes & Noble!
Hello everyone,
As you can read from the title (and the exclamation mark), I have exciting news! I cannot contain it and have been posting about it since it has happened. I have been working extremely hard to get some of my books into various PHYSICAL book stores. One of the things people have been commenting on is that if they were to see Missing in a bookstore, they would pick it up instantly because of the cover.
I AM SO EXCITED BECAUSE I FOUND OUT BARNES & NOBLE WILL NOW CARRY MY PHYSICAL PAPERBACK BOOK! I found out accidentally when I was providing different links to my ebook versions of books. It was so thrilling to see that they listed the paperback on their website.
For now, it will only be available through the online platform. However, I am still waiting on the verdict on whether they'll carry it in local stores. If you haven't purchased it yet and would like to, please click the button below. (By the time you see this, maybe it'll be available in your store!).

Hello everyone,
My love for reading has come back strong! I have recently bought about five books, which isn't a lot, but I had to tone down how much I was spending. So in the future you will see that I am reading: One of Us Is Lying, One of Us is Next, Twisted, Icebreaker, and She is Next. I am really into the thriller and YA novels, which is why I have bought so many books in that subject. Icebreaker is the only book that isn't in that genre and it is because I have seen so many good reviews for it on TikTok. I can't wait to read it, but am determined to read all of the other books from Giveaways and reread books around my house first. So it might take a while for me to read all of them. For now, enjoy my WWW.
What I Recently Finished Reading:
Mastering the Art of French Murder
Colleen Cambridge
GoodReads Rating: 3.6
Amazon Rating: 4.1
My Rating: :D
A new mystery set in post-WWII Paris and starring Julia Child’s (fictional) best friend, confidant, and fellow American.
As Paris rediscovers its joie de vivre, Tabitha Knight, recently arrived from Detroit for an extended stay with her French grandfather, is on her own journey of discovery. Paris isn’t just the City of Light; it’s the city of history, romance, stunning architecture . . . and food. Thanks to her neighbor and friend Julia Child, another ex-pat who’s fallen head over heels for Paris, Tabitha is learning how to cook for her Grandpère and Oncle Rafe.
Between tutoring Americans in French, visiting the market, and eagerly sampling the results of Julia’s studies at Le Cordon Bleu cooking school, Tabitha’s sojourn is proving thoroughly delightful. That is, until the cold December day they return to Julia’s building and learn that a body has been found in the cellar. Tabitha recognizes the victim as a woman she’d met only the night before, at a party given by Julia’s sister, Dort. The murder weapon found nearby is recognizable too—a knife from Julia’s kitchen.
Tabitha is eager to help the investigation, but is shocked when Inspector Merveille reveals that a note, in Tabitha’s handwriting, was found in the dead woman’s pocket. Is this murder a case of international intrigue, or something far more personal? From the shadows of the Tour Eiffel at midnight, to the tiny third-floor Child kitchen, to the grungy streets of Montmartre, Tabitha navigates through the city hoping to find the real killer before she or one of her friends ends up in prison . . . or worse. What I Am Currently Reading:
The Vaster Wilds
Lauren Groff
GoodReads rating: 4.17
Amazon rating: ARC
Current Page: 57
Why? I won it in a GoodReads giveaway! The cover of the book looks cool and the premise of the book is captivating. Already reading, it is harder for me to get into but I am hoping that once I read more into it, that I'll like it. What I Plan on Reading Next:
The Gay Best Friend
Nicolas Didomizio
GoodReads rating: 3.8
Amazon rating: 4.2
Why? I won this in a giveaway, but I have also followed the author on Instagram. He is so wonderfully nice and reacts to being mentioned.
My question to all of you since I have gotten back into buying books is: Do you let Tiktok determine a purchase? Have you ever bought books because of TikTok? Let me know which ones!

Hello everyone,
Last week I mentioned about reading books that don't initially draw you in. This week, I was just curious what you do with all of your books? For me, I have a small bookshelf that I put my books on. If I absolutey LOVE them, they are put on my CD shelf since the top rack is big enough to allow books to stay on there. If I liked it, they go on a regular shelf. If I did not like them, I donate them. I am thinking about keeping all books that are first editions though. Regardless if I like them.
What I Recently Finished Reading:
Trust
Hernan Diaz
Goodreads Rating: 3.9
Amazon rating: 4.1
My rating: :)
An unparalleled novel about money, power, intimacy, and perception
Even through the roar and effervescence of the 1920s, everyone in New York has heard of Benjamin and Helen Rask. He is a legendary Wall Street tycoon; she is the daughter of eccentric aristocrats. Together, they have risen to the very top of a world of seemingly endless wealth—all as a decade of excess and speculation draws to an end. But at what cost have they acquired their immense fortune? This is the mystery at the center of Bonds, a successful 1937 novel that all of New York seems to have read. Yet there are other versions of this tale of privilege and deceit.
Hernan Diaz’s TRUST elegantly puts these competing narratives into conversation with one another—and in tension with the perspective of one woman bent on disentangling fact from fiction. The result is a novel that spans over a century and becomes more exhilarating with each new revelation.
At once an immersive story and a brilliant literary puzzle, TRUST engages the reader in a quest for the truth while confronting the deceptions that often live at the heart of personal relationships, the reality-warping force of capital, and the ease with which power can manipulate facts. Hello everyone,
I have been crazy with reading! During the summertime, I allow myself that opportunity to relax and join new books that I have read. If you have been reading my past blogs, you will notice that I have won A LOT of GoodReads giveaways! Before, I had been entering every single giveaway. Now, it is no longer the case as I have won a lot of books that do not interest me - some you will see on here in upcoming WWW Wednesday's. I have started to only enter ones I like so there will be less winners as we continue on.
What I Recently Finished Reading:
How I Won a Nobel Prize
Julius Taranto
GoodReads rating: 4.44
Amazon rating: N/A
My rating: :( An incisive, wickedly funny debut novel about a graduate student who decides to follow her disgraced mentor to a university that gives safe harbor to scholars of ill repute, igniting a crisis of work and a test of her conscience (and marriage)
Helen is one of the best minds of her generation. A young physicist on a path to solve high-temperature superconductivity, which could save the planet, Helen is torn when she discovers her brilliant advisor is involved in a sex scandal. Should she give up on her work with him? Or should she accompany him to a controversial university, founded by a provocateur billionaire, that hosts academics that other schools have thrown out?
Helen decides she must go--her work is too important. She brings along her partner, Hew, who is much less sanguine about living on an island where the disgraced and deplorable get to operate with impunity. Soon enough, Helen finds herself drawn to an iconoclastic older novelist, while Hew stews in an increasingly radical protest movement. Their rift deepens until both confront choices that will reshape their lives--and maybe the world.
Irreverent, generous, anchored in character, and provocative without being polemical, How I Won a Nobel Prize illuminates the compromises we’ll make for progress, what it means to be a good person, and how to win a Nobel Prize. Turns out it’s not that hard--if you can run the numbers. What I Am Currently Reading: Trust

Hello everyone,
The smashwords sale for Innocent has OFFICIALLY ended. Thank you to everyone who had bought my books at a discounted price - I really appreciate it.
I have recently asked for a bit more time off of work for the summer. As many of you know, I am a teacher, but also have a side job that I hold during the school year. During the summer, I free up my availability, but I do not need to work all of my availability. To me, the summer is a way I can decompress from the previous school year. Anyway, I had asked for more time off so that I can read, swim, and write (my favorite summertime hobbies). So expect more of these!

My rating: :) Bombay’s only female solicitor, Perveen Mistry, grapples with class divisions, sexism, and complex family dynamics as she seeks justice for a mistreated young woman in this thrilling fourth installment in Sujata Massey’s Agatha and Mary Higgins Clark Award–winning series.
Bombay, 1920s. At a lavish fundraiser party for the launch of a new women’s hospital, the grandson of Lord Bhatia, an influential aristocrat, is badly burned in an accident—but a young servant, Sunanda, rushes to save him. Instead of being lauded as a hero, Sunanda is dismissed from the household, and simultaneously, suspiciously charged with “child murder”—also known as abortion.
Perveen Mistry, Bombay’s only female solicitor, cannot stand by while this heroine is mistreated and takes her on as a client. Perveen goes as far as inviting Sunanda to live with the Mistrys, as Sunanda’s family has put her out of the house in shame at her supposed crime.
The Mistry home is full of tension, as Perveen’s sister-in-law, who has just given birth, is struggling with new motherhood, and Perveen’s father is less than happy to have a disgraced servant under his roof. Perveen herself is going through personal turmoil as she navigates a societally taboo relationship with a handsome librarian.
When the Mistrys’ servant residence is set aflame, Perveen realizes just how much is at stake in this case: has someone extremely powerful framed Sunanda to cover up another crime? Will Perveen be able to prove Sunanda’s innocence without endangering her own family? Sujata Massey has returned with another expertly researched and chillingly prescient exploration of 1920s Bombay. My rating: :( In this witty, provocative, and compulsively readable coming-of-age story, a young Hasidic woman on a quest to get married fears she will never find a groom because of her secret addiction to porn.
Like the other women in her ultra-Orthodox Brooklyn community, Raizl expects to find a husband through an arranged marriage. Unlike the other women, Raizl has a secret.
With a hidden computer to help her complete her college degree, she falls down the slippery slope of online pornography. Smashwords Sale: Innocent
Hello everyone,
About two weeks ago, I announced that both of my books would be promoted on Smashwords at a discounted price. Last week, I had announced that Missing was being sold at a 25% discount. This week, I am announcing Innocent's discount:
Innocent is 50% off - only $1.99 By clicking any of the pictures below, you will be redirected to the website and/or book pages. I am so excited and hope this encourages more people to buy the ebook version. It comes in many different formats.
If you do buy it, thank you SO MUCH! It is truly appreciated. I would also appreciate if you can leave a review of the book you buy. It would mean a lot to me and would spread the word on my writing to others.
I am thinking about doing a giveaway with Innocent, just like I had with Missing. Let me know what you guys think! Should it be an ebook or print book? Or both?

As it is now July, Smashwords has its summer/winter sale going until the end of the month (30th). Both of my books - Missing and Innocent. Authors have the opportunity to choose how discounted they want their books to be. I have chosen TWO different prices for my books. You can look on the website and it will officially be announced later in the month as well!
