Happy Mother's Day!!

To all moms of kids, fur babies, and anything you can be a mom to.
It's not easy, but that's what makes us Mom's! Skinned knees, roughed up fur, it's all good and fixable with a little boo boo medicine and a kiss on the forehead.
So rejoice to know that you are THE MOM in the eyes of your kidlets. and when they ask you what you want...you can say ... or you can say ...

Sample - The Guardian's Bond - Now Available

The Guardian's Bond
Who says guardians can’t be sexy and sassy, with one hell of a right hook?

Alston guardian, Olivia Roven, knows how dangerous her job can be, and has felt the darkness that can tear families apart. Rushing home to save her aunt from a Dragon Hunter, Olivia discovers a bigger plot against Alston.

Livi radiates sassiness, especially toward Tommy Moilanin, her former childhood friend, and unbeknownst to Livi…her future mate. Kept apart so she could concentrate on her training, Livi realizes how strong her bond with Tommy is.

Tommy is a Lyken warrior, strong and proud, and he makes sure Livi’s guardian side understands his dominance, as their bond grows into a relationship they both yearn for.

Livi looked to the left to see Tommy, dressed in his black uniform of BDU pants, t-shirt and combat boots, walking toward her. She snarled when her pussy contracted. “Are you following me?”
“ And if I was?”
“ I’d tell you to beat feet.” Livi’s smile dropped as he came closer.
“ I never said I couldn’t stand the sight of you. Those words came from your mouth.”
Her gaze narrowed. “I’m not the one who backed away and stayed there.”
“ With good reason, and you still haven’t learned a lesson obviously.”
She tilted her head to meet his eyes as Tommy stood a good foot taller than her own five-four. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“ How easily you flirt with men you don’t know. Is that what Triton has been teaching you all these years?”
“ Up yours, ass-wipe.” Going to step around him, Livi gasped when he grabbed her arm hauling her to his chest.
“ Are you even a virgin still or have you come into season?” he growled.
Livi jerked her arm away from him and stepped back. “What the hell does it matter to you? It’s not like you are.”
“ That’s different.”
“ The hell it is. I know Lyken males start the full moon mating between the ages of sixteen and eighteen, when was yours, Tommy? When did you take your first bitch?” she snapped.
“ If I don’t take a pack bitch when the mating urge comes, I could die, Olivia. You know this,” he snapped back.
“ So what? Why is it such a big deal if I’ve had sex or not? I’m twenty-eight years old.”
Tommy growled, his canines elongating. “Have you come into season yet?”
“ Yes!”
“ With who?”
Livi’s canines descended from her anger over this stupid conversation and yelled the first thing that came to mind. “The Prince of Atlantis!”
“ There’s five of them!”
Livi took a deep breath and smiled at him as she stepped away, tossing her hair like a diva over her shoulder as she turned her back to him and walked away...

Writing Inspiration - Passion Flower Vine

My husband and I were strolling down the gardening aisles of Lowe's and he maneuvered me over to the section with the vines and shrubs, saying I have to check out these vines, they'd be awesome for our trellis. So as I follow him glancing here and there at the different blooms, thinking okay, I'll let him show me, but I'm really not enthused, because he wants to replace my choice of flowering vine for our trellis. He stops and points, saying, honey I really like this one.
I look over, my eyes widen as I take a step forward. I LIKE IT.
As he's talking about it's self climbing, we don't have to train it to go up, I'm thinking, this is the coolest looking flower I've seen in a long time. Leaning over I smell it, then rub the petals gently between my fingers. I turn to look at him with a smile.I like it.He smiles, really? let's get it.O.K. as  he's loading two onto our cart, I start...that looks so sci-fi to me, I love it and the color (purple is one of my favs). My eyes go wide and I smile, I know exactly which book I want to put this in.He looks at me and smiles.I start blabbing all the way around Lowe's gardening center, through check out and into the car.My husband finally turns to look at me and says...you're a chatty little thing today.I'm like I know right   See what happens when you inspire the writer in me.

So there is where one of my writing inspirations came from. The Passion Flower Vine .
Passiflora , known also as the passion flowers or passion vines, is a genus of about 500 species of flowering plants, the namesakes of the familyPassifloraceae. They are mostly vines, with some being shrubs, and a few species being herbaceous. For information about the fruit of the passiflora plant, see passionfruit. The monotypic genus  Hollrungia  seems to be inseparable from Passiflora, but further study is needed.Wikipedia
