Fun Drink Friday - Fourth of July Cocktail
Ingredients
1 ounce watermelon schnapps1 big splash cranberry juice1 very thin slice jalapeno or serrano pepper1 slice lemon1 slice lime1 1/2 ounces tequila1/4 ounce blue curacao1/2 ounce simple syrup
Directions
Mix the schnapps and cranberry juice in a shaker; pour into an ice-filled glass.Muddle the jalapeno pepper, lemon and lime slices, tequila, blue curacao and simple syrup (to make a batch, dissolve sugar in equal parts hot water and chill) in the shaker. Slowly strain into the glass over the red layer. Garnish with watermelon, if desired.

Ingredients1 (12-oz.) can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed4 cups white cranberry juice cocktail1 qt. club soda, chilledGarnish: fresh mint sprigsPreparation1. Stir together lemonade concentrate and cranberry juice cocktail in a large pitcher. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours. Stir in club soda just before serving.
