Blogs Vs. Email Newsletters
Good morning,
Ok, so I'm on the fence line.
I've had the blog for years .... and I mean, YEARS!I've also had a monthly newsletter (which I stopped) because I noticed more than half of them going out were not being opened.
I've been hearing lately that people would rather have the email newsletters than going to look at a blog.
Yes, I've noticed a total decline in my blog views, but that could also be, because I'm not a constant blogger! I admit that. It's difficult with my work to blog every week, because I may be out in the field.
Annnd, I've been thinking of stopping the blog for a while and starting up the newsletter again.
But I hated the newsletter site I was using and would need to find another one.
So. To blog or not to blog vs. to newsletter or not to newsletter ????Those are the questions. for me anyway.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday!!It's 67 at home right now with a high of 80 today & spot showers.Great day for planting flowers!

So, I had a heck of a time this time with getting the book up especially on one platform. I will say 50% user error - ✋yep that would be me.but the print book cover for Amazon - wholly heckins! that's why you'll see a different Print book cover on Amazon than what is at Books2Read.Through Books2Read is: Kobo, B&N, Apple, Smashwords & numerous others.
Amazon has the spicy cover like the eBook. Books2Read has the Special more conservative book cover.
I was also going between conservative or not, as there's been some discussion about schools finding 18+ books with them on kids. Which is NOT okay in any way shape or form.
I'm not sure if I'm going to keep offering 2 print book covers. I asked my peeps on Facebook and the majority says, keep the spicy, it's what the book is.

Big Daddy - I've been adopted
Hey all,
So meet, Big Daddy!
I woke up on the morning of Saturday December 30th, 2023 from my boyfriend who just got home from work at 7 am saying, 'you have a visitor outside' and saw this handsome fellow walking around my back yard.
My son and I thought we saw a 'cat' huddled up against the garage the night before.
After sending several pics over to my neighbors, they had no idea where he came from.
Now those who may not know. Chickens have a built in sense of home and will go home every night.That's where the old saying 'until the chickens come home to roost.' comes from 😉
So what did I do ... I text my sister. The chicken whisper 😁
So then, I fed him. 😄
When I talked to my sister a week later, she's like, what, he's still there? I'm like yeah, and he follows me down to get the mail, and to the car, and he's roosting on my deck railing.
She's like well, he's imprinted on you. He likes you, and for him to stay and not go back where he came from means, he was probably not happy there.
I talk to him everyday when I'm outside. He follows me around doing chores, going from the tool shed to my she shed (my office) to the house.
When we had the foot of snow earlier this month, he refused to go into the shelter my honey and I made for him 😜 and he roosted on the deck and I fed him from a plate and talked to him the whole time he was eating.It's a good thing I spent all my off school days on my grandfathers pig farm. I'm used to shoveling 💩and as Malcom from Jurassic Park said ... 'that is one big pile of shit' 😂Big Daddy's name precedes him, LOL.
So Big Daddy, LOL, received his name from my sisters' husband, When I sent a picture up to her, he text back and said, 'that's a big daddy'. 😂
If he's still hanging around in the spring time, I'll get him a few hens to bum around with 😉
I was thinking of getting laying hens this year, as I work from home usually three days or more a week and if I'm gone from the house, my honey or my son will go out and feed him.
I don't mind helping an animal in need, and he obviously needed a happier place to be.
So I've been adopted 😊
