Advice at the right time 😉

I am a person for whom taking advice is not easy. So, today was a different day as i was open to it. I was watching a tarot reading. And it actually was telling about something i was realising myself but was not very clear about before.

I wanted to share with you my major takeaways especially my understanding of what it means to set boundaries and getting along with the right people. I didn’t understand it for quite a long time

I want to share the takeaway like a character depiction.

Lets say a lady (well it’s me) who has better relations than before let it be family, friends, also she is looking for the love of her life but these relations do not match her expectations yet. Also, she is passionate to succeed in earning her dream income and ace her academics.

Now, when it comes to friendship, the moment she knows there is a potential of friendship, she shares everything about her like close friends. Because she thinks that is who she is. But the person on the other side do not reciprocate and some even leave her behind.

So, the advice given to her was to take a stand for her dreams and be someone like a high standard person who doesn’t take to people easily. A person with boundaries, she may converse with you but she is not giving all of her. Play hard to get.

Despite, whatever happens she has her set of standards. Like wherever you put her let it be in a famous tourist city or a business hub, she is the same. She has a particular set of things to follow and she does it on her own. Her dreams matter to her so much. (I did achieve this part, so proud, i didn’t change even after i shifted places, the people changed). It is a character much respected.

….

Yeah, boundaries are about a balance of how much you give yourself to the other. It is always best to keep somethings with you. How much to keep and whom to share is something i had to learn with experience.

So, “play hard to get”. People value things that are not easy to get. And be that person at some level in every relation. This is what I understood of setting boundaries.

How I use tarot cards as a language.

I have been crazy about tarot readings recently. And nowadays i watch the thumbnails and leave it at that.

Mainly it is like I use a card’s name and the entire character of the card is expressed in my mind. Like a flash card. So, if I have to be someone caring and loving in a particular circumstance even when i am angry i remind myself the queen of cups.

The queen of cups represents nurturing emotions, childhood memories, maternal love. The card representing cancer zodiac.

The queen of swords. This represents the truth for me. A card to remind me to be with a spine of steel.

When i think of marriage. I think of the best cards like 4 of wands, ten of cups and ten of pentacles. The first two is about a long lasting happy relationship with a house and family. And the ten of pentacles is about abundance and wealth.

Hierophant card that tells about a divine power bringing the soul mates together. And also represents about traditions and marriage. The two sphinx in that card represents Ying and yang. Or accepting the whole, the good and bad together of a person.

So many more like that as per requirements…
