My mind is free
To choose the words I talk
But certain paths
Are destined for me to walk
I am free to be
An angel or a beast
I have the power
To spread lights
Or start fires
But I am too weak
Towards my heart's desires
You asked me what
Brings me to you?
Oh can't you see
I am your old dream
That's becoming true!

I Have Claws

You man who wishes
To explore my world
Be aware that my world
Is not a playground
For a curious adolescent
Who just plans to play
And if you're hunting
Be careful, I have claws
I'm not an easy prey!
You man who speak
Of having a thousand women
At your command
An album full
Of admirers and fans
I have no time to waste
With an immature boy like you
Take my advice and go
Throw yourself into the arms
Of your thousand women
Go build yourself a Harem!

The Lover of Love

My book review on The Songs of Eagles: Poetry by Eagle Soul Man
Khan Eagle "The Lover of Love"
He tickles feelings with his poems and awakens senses, some of his fans call him Mr. Eagle but that's too formal and dry for such a tender poet, I prefer to be friendly and call him Khan!.
Some of his fans consider him "The poet of our time" and some others "A gift from God".
In one of his poems he wrote: Some will ask who I am I am a poet, all I can say "The Lover of LOVE".
In my opinion this man is a great poet who speaks with purity and values love, he doesn't belong to this era; he wrote about Romeo and Juliet, he said in the words of Romeo: "A lifetime never suffices to love you, I wish I was so powerful that I could rule the fate, If I was able to change it we could live together maybe a thousand year". He also wrote about Layla and El Majnoon in his first book; I loved his words: "I heard you in whines of wind, I felt your crying, when it started to rain, I found you there in everything".
He created beautiful video-poems you can watch on his YouTube channel, an amazing combinations of poems, music and images!!.
In one of his tweets he wrote:
"Sometimes I need to draw back to my shell
Where I can escape from the outer hell
Sometimes I just need to listen to myself
When I sense people all ears to themselves"
Well dear Khan, I hope you'll always find peace whether you're inside or outside your shell and I will always be delighted to read more of your poems!.

Simply Me

This is an extract of my poem "Simply Me"

"The lonely woman
Is simply me
The child who is hiding
And keeps writing
About her doubts
Laughs and tears
Is the other she in me
The dreamy girl
Is also me
But most of all
I am the fearful adolescent
Who doesn’t want to grow
Doesn’t want to know
Doesn’t want to let go of you"
