Things I Liked in March 2022
Well, I hope your month of March was a good one. I’ve been busy, busy, busy. Not just with the usual 9-5 that keeps getting in the way, but with writing and editing too. I’ll be able to share some news on upcoming projects shortly. In the meantime, we’ll stick to some pop culture stuff I liked this month.
I Love TV
Okay, real talk. I didn’t like “Bridgerton‘s” first season. Like, at all. But, I knew before the second season even aired that I was going to include it in a list of things I...

In every generation, there is a Chosen One
Well, I really dropped the ball. On Thursday, March 10, my favorite show of all time, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” turned 25 (just a few years younger than I am…*cough cough*). So, this little tribute is a few days late, but I really wanted to write something about how impactful the show has been on me. So, buckle up for an overly earnest tribute to this classic show.

I remember the first episode I attempted to watch: “The Pack”. I very clearly remember the scene when Xander, possessed by s...

Things I Liked In February 2022
What a month February was, right?
I Love TV
I’m not sure I expected to love The Sex Lives of College Girls as much as I did when I first started it. The show follows four college freshmen roommates as they navigate their time at their Vermont college. It is honestly the funniest show I’ve seen in a while. The cast is phenomenal and absolutely nails every joke, whether it’s some wry observation or physical humor. Amrit Kaur, who plays Bela, is an absolute star and I hope to find her in...

Some Romantic Reads for Your Valentine’s Day
It’s Valentine’s Day! Can you feel the love? If you’re looking for some romantic reads I’m happy to share with you some of my favorites. Whether you’re in a relationship or hopelessly/happily single, you can find something to suit your interests in the selection below.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
Why it’s romantic: Well, the story’s about a woman, Addie LaRue, who is cursed to live forever and be remembered by no one. Whenever she meets a person, the second they lo...

Things I Liked in January 2022
I didn’t like many things in January, to be honest. While life has been very busy, my pop culture intake was pushed to the side. Normally, I’d have a book or two to discuss but I’ve been taking my time re-reading “Boyfriend Material” by Alexis Hall and I’ve written about that book enough in the last month (seriously, I love it and I want to live inside it). So, no new book this month, unfortunately. But, there are other things to discuss!

Writing Updates and All That Fun Stuff
Last year was a busy year for me in terms of writing and I’m really excited about the different projects I’ve been working on. I really, really can’t wait to eventually share them with you. While I’m not quite ready to start giving specifics, I do want to share some writing updates.
“Forgotten Monsters” Sequel(s)I’ve been hard at work on Book #2, but there’s still a bit of work yet to do. Currently, I’m working on the blurb and when it comes to writing blurbs, my incompetence knows no bou...

So I Saw This Thing On Twitter…
That’s a dangerous blog title because Twitter can be a wild place. But there was this activity going around Twitter a week or so ago where for every “like” you received on your tweet, you’d have to answer a question below. I thought, “Hey, why not just answer the questions for your blog?” So, here we are.
Who’s your favorite character you’ve written?I…don’t know. I kind of like them all. I know that’s a bit of a cop out, but it’s true. If I had to choose, I really do like Marissa and Stanley ...

Things I Liked In 2021
So, tomorrow is 2022. Craziness. The whole year has been a bit of a rollercoaster, right? There was hope on the horizon (a vaccine!) followed by new wave after new wave of this virus. It’s been tough, but I do hope 2022 is better for everyone. Can we please get to the Roarin’ 20s part of this century?? I have things I want to do!
Anyway, it’s the end of the year and while nobody has asked for this, I’m here to share my favorite things of 2021.

Happy Holidays!
Well, the holidays are here! First and foremost, I want to wish all of you a happy, healthy, and incredible holiday season. The holidays mean different things to different people so whatever you choose to do, whether you’re with family or flying solo, I hope it’s something you love and that you can enjoy this time of year.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support this year. It’s truly meant so much to me. Whether you bought and read the book, or spre...

Things I Liked In November 2021
This month sure has been busy and, as a result, it went by very quickly. I can’t believe we’re heading into December and it will soon be 2022! Honestly, where did this year go?
In any case, last week was Thanksgiving and I spent it in Florida with my mom and a couple of other family members. It was nice but I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so much pie. I actually reached a point where I ate so much pie that I can’t even look at it anymore. It’s kind of freeing actually.
Anyway, onto the pop ...
