Creflo Dollar Maintaining Joy While You Wait

Creflo Dollar

Have you ever felt as if you were in a holding pattern in life? It is during these times that you may have a tendency to murmur, complain, and grumble about your current situation. Sometimes it seems as if you will never get beyond where you are currently, and it can be frustrating. Everyone will go through periods where it seems as if nothing is happening. However, during these seasons in life, you should be determined to live the life Jesus wants you to live. Determine to maintain your joy and seek opportunities to make the most of where you are, despite the circumstances. Continuing to be thankful and seeking innovative ways to maximize your time are keys to maintaining your joy during difficult seasons.

John 15:11, 12 is a foundational scripture that will help you maintain joy no matter what you are waiting for, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”  Loving others is a key to keeping your joy-tank full at all times. When you bring joy to another person’s life, your joy escalates to higher levels.

Joy also comes from what you know from God’s Word. The words of Jesus reinforce the fruit of joy that is already within your spirit. By meditating on the Word of God, you will maintain the joy necessary to be content in any and all situations. Joy provokes praise and keeps you in a mode of expectancy.

Thanksgiving is an outgrowth of your love and appreciation for what God has done in your life. It is also a key to embracing God’s grace that is upon your life. First Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” The last thing you want to do when you are in a “holding pattern” is to start complaining. Complaining is verbal manifestation of ungratefulness, and it agrees with Satan’s words, not God’s words. Therefore, be sure to maintain an attitude of gratitude, no matter where you are or what you may be going through.

Also, while you are waiting for His promises to manifest in your life, thank Him for His provision and be sure to cultivate a servanthood mentality. Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” Waiting on the Lorddoes not mean sitting around doing nothing, or being idle. To wait on the Lord means to confidently expect the manifestation of His provision, and thankfully serve Him, while you are waiting.

Creflo Dollar Sow a Do-Good Seed This Holiday Season

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

The holiday season is here. Often thoughts about family gatherings foster pain and hurt from the past. I encourage you to let go and let God handle past offenses. Refuse to allow those memories to ruin your holiday season. Jesus is the reason for the season, so decide to focus on celebrating all that He has done. Be a loving, gracious, and sincere giver. More importantly, ask God to help you forgive those who have hurt you. Remember, forgiveness is a decision, not a feeling.

Your first step is to make the quality decision to forgive. When forgiving others, you shouldn’t require them to apologize or make amends beforehand. This defeats the purpose. Your restoration and healing comes when you decide to receive God’s grace to walk in love with the person who hurt you. His or her response shouldn’t be your concern. Your business is to forgive, let go, let God take over, and love that individual.

Love is an action word and can be expressed in many ways. It is the most powerful seed you can sow into someone’s life. Jesus said to love your enemies and do good to people who hate you, and that you should pray for those who despitefully use you (Luke 6:27, 28). Jesus wants you to understand the importance of demonstrating love to someone who does not show love in return.

When you release the love of God into the lives of others, God is released, because God is love. I call this the do-good seed, which is the action of love you extend to another person who has done wrong and doesn’t deserve your goodness. If someone has done something to offend you, pray for the person and follow the Holy Spirit’s lead. God may lead you to add that person to your Christmas shopping list this year! Remember, doing something good for someone who has hurt you is not a demonstration of weakness. It demonstrates the power of God that is within you. Only God can empower you to truly love your enemies.

Creflo Dollar Receive a Helping Hand

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Author: Creflo Dollar

Most of us have made serious mistakes or blunders. When this happens, an overwhelming sense of powerlessness may come over us, and we may feel as if our world is crashing down. However, these times are great opportunities for God to perform the 'and suddenly' event in your life. I know I've experienced them many times, and I'm sure you have also. We can all recall times in our lives when we needed help, and suddenly someone came along to offer assistance. Whether help fixing a car, or correcting an error at work, it's always good to receive a helping hand.

If receiving help from others delivers us from stress and bondage, imagine the freedom we experience when we accept the help God has given us! God sent His only Son to restore wholeness to mankind. In essence, Jesus corrected the mistake Adam made when he allowed Satan to deceive he and Eve into disobedience in the Garden of Eden.

Despite the magnitude of Adam's mistake, which subsequently affected all mankind, God redeemed us, and did so by giving us the greatest gift ever—His only Son. All of us were once cursed, destined to take part in the grim fate of eternal death, and worthy of Hell because of one man's sin! However, through Jesus Christ, we've received a chance to start over and have right—standing with God again.

Let's explore ways in our daily lives to show God how much we appreciate our second chance. I've decided to get up every morning and declare, This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! I praise Him for His goodness and mercy every day, and commit to share His love with others.

Through Jesus, we have access to God's grace. His grace is His willingness to get involved in our situations even though we don't deserve it. God's grace is unearned and unmerited favor He willingly bestowed upon our lives.

Rest assured today that no matter what's going on in your life, or what mistakes you've made, God willingly extends grace to help you overcome. We've all made mistakes, but don't condemn yourself. Instead, remain steadfast and receive God's helping hand of restoration.

Creflo Dollar Changing, Growing, Becoming!

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

I came across a quote today that profoundly impacted me. The quote, from Charles Dubois, epitomizes the life of a Christian. It says, "The most important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become." Wow! I can't think of a better quote that precisely and insightfully captures the true calling of Christianity.

Are you willing to sacrifice what you are now, in order to become what God has called you to be? If you're a Christian, this is a question you need to honestly ask yourself. If your answer is no, you'll remain stagnant in your current state—never experiencing the result of change or the beauty of growth.

For a born—again Christian, change is a necessary and perpetual facet of life. In order to become everything God has called us to be, not only do we have to embrace change, we have to learn to love it. God makes masterpieces on the canvas of our lives; and everyday we have the opportunity to work with Him in creating a work of art. By the leading of His Spirit, we must be willing to make the necessary adjustments so God can continue the work He started in us.

Do you know what happens to a person who becomes so complacent in their current existence they refuse to change? They never grow, and in extreme cases, they live their entire life with unfulfilled greatness. Don't let that be your story!

Jesus was a great example of what it means to sacrifice what we are, for what we can become. He embodied change, and allowed His entire life to be a sacrifice. As a result, He now sits at the right hand of the Father. Notice, however, what He ultimately achieved began with His willingness to lay down all for God's will.

Just think, if Jesus hadn't willingly sacrificed His life, you and I would not have unrestricted access to the Father. I don't know about you, but the sacrifice Jesus made motivates me to sacrifice what I am, so I can grow and become what God has destined me to be.

Do you really want to grow into the person God's called you to be? Because if you do, then change is the order of business! Don't be consumed with what you are right now; submit your life to God as a sacrifice, and focus on what you will become.

Creflo Dollar Godly Fathers

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Author: Creflo Dollar

At one of my men’s fellowship services there were dozens of men in attendance who had never been fathered. I called them to the altar, began calling each of them by name, and prayed over their lives. As I prophetically confirmed their identity, I saw such passion come out of them. As they began to discover their identity for the first time, many of them fell to the floor in tears.

What we see happening among today’s youth is clearly the result of a fatherless generation. Young people need guidance. There are teenage boys who don’t have a clue what it means to be a man, and young women who don’t know their worth. Over the years, many people have allowed the enemy to subtly destroy their families. However, families can be restored when we understand how to function and operate according to the Word of God.

By God’s standards, fathers are also the providers for the family. Men, God will provide for you as you provide for your families. He will father you as you father your children. This is the principle of seed time and harvest. God promises all fathers His fatherly involvement in their lives based on their fatherly involvement in their children’s lives.

Fathers must strive to love their children with a deep, intimate, God-kind of love. You cannot allow your emotions to hinder your ability to properly love your children. They should not have to seek out love in all the wrong places, or feel there is something missing in their lives because they lack your love. Fathers, I urge you to develop a healthy, intimate relationship with your sons and daughters. Spend quality time with them; let them know you passionately love and support them.

I remember once coming home from a trip to Nigeria. My dad grabbed me and hugged me so intensely that something melted on the inside of me. That hug let me know how important I was to him. In that way, my father imitated God’s love for me and it greatly enhanced our relationship.

I commend and appreciate men who are good fathers, hard-working, and men of God. I know it’s not easy to walk in integrity, be there for your children, and be a good example for your family, but your efforts will pay off.

If you have never known the love of your biological father, you can still experience a father’s love. Everyone should have a deep, intimate, and loving relationship with the Heavenly Father. Receive God’s love and acceptance through His Son, Jesus. Let go of the past and have the courage to move on. Enjoy the present, and all that God has for you!

Creflo Dollar “Do” versus “Done!”

Creflo_Dollar

Creflo_Dollar

Creflo Dollar

When we talk about living under the new covenant of grace, we’re talking about resigning from our self-effort or our performance, and believing that we receive from God by faith. From that point on, it’s not what we do; it’s what’s been done. You see, righteousness under the Law says, “do.” But righteousness by faith says “done.” Under the Law, it’s always about what you can do. But under grace, it’s always about what Jesus has done. It’s so important for us to change the tense. So whether it’s your healing, your deliverance, or your prosperity, it’s going to be about what Jesus has done under this covenant of grace versus what you can do.

The Lord began to deal with me, and He said, “I’m going to show you exactly what has to be done in order to receive what Jesus has already done and made available by grace, and what you need to do to take what’s already been done and get it to manifest in your life.”

This is crucial because too many people still have no idea how to cause prosperity to  manifest in every area of their lives—particularly in the area of finances. Listen, do you actually think the grace of God has made everything that we’ll ever need for life available except your finances? And if you look at this one area—finances—it appears to be messing with every portion of your life—your attitudes, your emotions, your bills, your comfort level, all kinds of stuff.

Prospering financially is still a huge struggle for so many people. The reason why it’s a struggle is because they do not understand or recognize that they’re under grace, and that they’re the righteousness of God by faith in Christ (Romans 3:22). Why is understanding and recognizing that truth so important? As the righteousness of God, grace has already made everything available to you. Second Peter 1:3, AMP, declares, For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).” God’s divine power has (past tense!) bestowed upon us all (not some!) things that pertain to life and godliness! All things include your finances!

Creflo Dollar Beloved

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

God wants us to know that we are deeply and greatly loved by Him. He wants us to know that we are His beloved. What does beloved means? It means you are the one loved. He wants you to know that you're valued. And I'm not talking about this Christian thing where we say, “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so!”

Whether you know it or not, everything the devil—your enemy—does is done to destroy your faith and confidence in the love that God has for you. He uses religious teachers to bring condemnation into your life; he brings accusations against you (Revelation 12:10); he brings up and harasses you about mistakes and failures from your past, all in an attempt to make you think that God is mad at you, and He doesn’t love you.

There is no doubt in my mind that God loves Himself some Creflo Augustus Dollar! I believe that with all my heart, mind, body, and soul! I’ve renewed my mind to the truth that God loves me just as much as He loves Jesus! And here’s what I've noticed: when people know they’re God's beloved, it’s personal with them. They know that God loves them just as much as He loves Jesus. So in the midst of trouble, they don’t give up, cave in, and quit! Instead, they boldly proclaim and announce their confidence in God's love for them! Miracles begin to happen for those who realize they are God's beloved.

Listen to what I'm saying. When you believe and are confident that God loves you, no matter what’s going on, you can say, “I'm going to be alright, because God loves me. Because God loves me, I'm healed. I don’t care what the doctor has said. Because God loves me, these bills are going to be paid. God loves me, and He meets all my needs.” The peace that passes all understanding shows up when you know how much God loves you.

Start noticing the number of times the Bible refers to us as God’s beloved. Meditate on those scriptures. The devil has no defense against someone who knows they’re deeply loved by God.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for you to start enjoying your life. It’s time for you to start laughing, having a good time, going out, having picnics, and so on. Jesus came for us to have and enjoy the abundant life! (John 10:10, AMP). Stop trying to be so deep all the time! It’s time for you to know, that you know, that God loves you! The quality of your life will change and you'll begin to enjoy the blessings of God when you realize how much He loves you.

Creflo Dollar Have You Tried My Jesus?

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Have you ever come across those Christians who go around telling people that if they drink, smoke tobacco, curse, or commit any other sins that God is not going to accept them? What they fail to realize is that God doesn’t accept you because you’re acceptable; He accepts you because of the blood of Jesus! God accepts you with all the mess He knew you had going on before you became born again. It wasn’t like the things you were involved in were a secret to God! He accepted you with all of your issues. But He doesn’t leave you there. God has a plan to renovate you from all your issues, if you’ll just accept Him and stop worrying about what He’s going to do to you because of sin in your life.

Anybody—even preachers in the pulpit—who claims that God is not going to accept people because of their sin is imputing people’s sins to them. To impute means to hold against, or charge to their account. If you’re born again, God no longer charges your sins to your account (Romans 4:8, AMP). So, to tell people God doesn’t accept them because of their sin is to demean and devalue what Jesus has done. You’re saying that what He accomplished on the cross wasn’t enough—that sin is bigger than Christ’s sacrifice. Ladies and gentlemen, that is not true.

Some of you are probably thinking, “Brother Dollar, you’re making light of sin.” No, I’m not! You’re making light of what Jesus did! What I’m saying is that what Jesus did is bigger than sin! There’s no sin that can outdo what the blood flowing out of Jesus’ veins has done! “I hear what you’re saying Brother Dollar, but I still believe there are some sins we have to be held accountable for.” Are you kidding me? To be accountable for your sins means you’re going to have to pay the consequences for your sins. Do you know what those consequences are?

Creflo Dollar We Are What We Think

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Creflo Dollar

Recently God said to me, “I want to show you how to operate the kingdom of God system as a human being. Your mind is the starting point—as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.” If you don’t like your life or what has manifested in it, consider what you have been thinking about. We arewhat we think. Therefore, it is crucial for us to examine what we are considering the most in our lives especially when we are not getting results. There’s indeed a problem when our lives do not line up with the Word, and the problem is wrong thinking.

When we make the decision to consider the Word first and foremost, we must understand that it will require focus. It will also require a commitment to keep our attention on God’s promises despite what we see. The enemy will try to distract us and cause our minds to focus more on the problems. However, when we focus more on our problems than we do on the answers (from the Word) fear, doubt, and unbelief will take over our minds. As a result, we will remain where we are.

Many people would argue with me on that last point and say that thoughts of doubt, fear, and worry are normal. They would go as far as to say that it is simple human nature. I agree to a certain extent. However, we can train our thoughts to line up with the Word. Brother Kenneth Copeland taught me a valuable lesson when it comes to taking control of our thoughts. I have seen him take control of his thoughts many times. For instance, whenever he faces a challenge, and start thinking about the problem, he says, “No! I’m not going to think about that! Instead,I am going to consider what God’s Word says about it!” That’s huge. It demonstrates the fact that we can take authority over negative thoughts and cast them down by faith.

It doesn’t matter what the problem may be, the solution is found in the Word. For example, you may not have the money to pay a past due bill and doubt is bombarding your thoughts. Your mind is filled with questions such as, “How am I going to pay this? What am I going to do?” Instead of meditating on the problem, you can switch your focus to the Word and say, “No! I’m not going to allow these thoughts to take over my mind! God is my source and He has given me what I need to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I am abundantly supplied because God is my source!” When you think this way, the miracle of supernatural multiplication is put into motion the same as when Jesus blessed the small amount of food (several loaves of bread and a few fishes) to feed thousands of people.
