Dr. Creflo Dollar: Your Imagination Holds the Key
Your mind holds tremendous creative ability. That’s why God gave you an imagination—so that you could create mental pictures, add faith to them, and see those pictures manifest in your life. Once you have an image in your mind of something you want to do or become, nothing can stop that image from coming to pass. Whatever you meditate on will become the blueprint for your reality. Too often, though, Christians suffer from “stinking thinking.” They give the devil control of their minds by meditating on thoughts that do not line up with the Word of God. Then they reap the results of the curse because their carnal mind-set produces the fruit of the flesh described in Galatians 5:19-21. To keep the devil from gaining a foothold in your life, you must develop a sound mind that is completely controlled and directed by the Holy Spirit. In other words, you must renew your mind with the Word of God. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
When you become born again, your spirit instantly changes; you are recreated in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). Yet your mind is not recreated. You must conform your thinking continually and on purpose; it is not an overnight, one-time event. Renewing your mind to God’s Word every day is vital. By reading the Scriptures and meditating on them thoroughly, your thinking will be transformed to line up with the mind of Christ. And when you have the mind of Christ, you can do anything! When you set your mind on the Word of God, you’ll also experience soul prosperity and peace (3 John 2). The Bible says that the issues of life flow out of the heart (Proverbs 4:23). The word heart in this scripture actually refers to your soul—your mind, your will, and your emotions. If you can control your mind, you can control your destiny. But it will take a quality decision, on your part, to dedicate your life to changing the way you think. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” It is God’s will that your mind, will, and emotions be whole, with nothing missing or broken. As a Believer, you can receive a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). It is then up to you to enforce and maintain soundness of mind by keeping your thoughts and imaginations in line with God and His Word (Isaiah 26:3).
When your mind is focused and directed by the Word, you will position yourself for success. You’ll have wisdom, discernment, insight and the ability to accomplish anything. A renewed, Word-controlled mind guarantees abundance and prosperity in every area of your life. Don’t let another day go by without a daily dose of meditation. Set your mind on the Word of God and let it become the focal point of your life and purpose!

Creflo Dollar Choose You This Day
Creflo Dollar
Creflo Dollar
The choices we make today affect what will happen tomorrow, but many people don’t put much thought into just how much of a difference their choices will make in the future. Sometimes, the impact of our decisions doesn’t become apparent for months, or even years. When we know we won’t see an immediate result, it’s easy to dismiss the importance of making the right choices in life. But the Bible gives us some solid advice on the topic.
God gives us a freewill choice in every area of our lives, and He will never force the issue. However, living life without His guidance and protection is not a good idea. In the Old Testament, Joshua clearly communicated his preference for the type of lifestyle he wanted. “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15, AMP). This choice is just as relevant today as it was then.
A commitment to serve God profoundly impacts everything in our lives, on every level. How we handle our finances, choose a spouse, raise our children, and interact with others, are all influenced by whether or not we put God first in our lives. It goes well with us when we seek Him, because He wants only good for us. “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV). On the other hand, when we fight against God and go our own way, He takes that into account, too. “But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who ‘will render to each one according to his deeds’” (Romans 2:5, 6, NKJV).
We’ve all seen or heard stories about young people making a personal decision to join a gang, be part of a robbing crew, or abuse drugs or alcohol. The results of those actions may not manifest themselves immediately, but continuing down that path has consequences. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death”(James 1:14, 15). This is not God’s will for anyone, but He allows us to decide for ourselves.

Creflo Dollar Grace and the Law
Creflo Dollar
Creflo Dollar
When we struggle with issues that are too big to handle on our own, maybe it’s time to turn them over to God. Many of us have a tendency to do everything ourselves, and then get frustrated when things don’t improve. On a spiritual level, this is called operating under the Law, instead of under grace. You may have heard the term “Let go and let God,” which simply means having the wisdom to allow Him to handle our problems as only He can.
God’s wisdom is not the world’s wisdom, and we can’t begin to understand His comprehensive plans and purposes. Instead of trying to force things to happen through our own works, relying on His grace yields better results. By their very nature, our works are dependent on the Law. Jesus is Grace, and trusting in Him empowers our lives.
During the time of Moses, the people didn't have grace yet; they only had a pair of stone tablets to govern their actions. Anyone not following the Law was condemned to death. But when Jesus came and fulfilled the laws of old, He breathed life into them (Hebrews 10:16, NIV). Jesus’ laws are based on life, not death, and they govern our hearts.
It takes courage to step out in faith and trust that God’s grace will be sufficient to carry us through. But when we reflect on the implications of Jesus’ finished works, we can begin to see the big picture. God is love, and Jesus was the Father’s love in human form. His entire ministry on earth was about His love for us.
God's love is big and powerful, victorious and all-encompassing. The world operates under the Law in fear and defeat, but under the Law the magnitude of His grace is not recognized. Jesus is Grace Himself, but the world doesn't know Him or realize the need for Him in all situations. When we take Him into our hearts and realize that we no longer have to live in fear of condemnation, we also are set apart from the world (John 14:17, AMP).
Under the old laws, the focus was on people's sins, and they were constantly reminded of their guilt and inadequacy. No one could keep the more than 600 laws that were in effect, and the priests were the only individuals who could come into God's presence. But when Jesus came, He wrote the law of love on our hearts and became the intermediary between us and God. He replaced death and condemnation with life, mercy, compassion, and grace.

Creflo Dollar All We Need Is God’s Presence

Life is a series of choices, and God lets us decide for ourselves on one of the most important choices of all–whether to focus on our problems, or on Him. Focusing on our problem weighs us down, and keeps us from seeing Him clearly. But even when we turn our eyes away from God, He's still waiting for us to acknowledge His presence. When we involve Jesus in our lives and let Him intervene on our behalf, we have perfect peace.
Some people turn to earthly sources to find the answers to their problems, but God's wisdom is infinite. When we shut out all distractions and study His Word, we discover that He's all around us. God is on our side, and He'll never leave us (Romans 8:31, Matthew 1:23). He's really all we need.
Life can be scary, but both the Old and New Testaments tell us time and time again not to be afraid (Psalm 27:1, Psalm 118:6, Hebrews 13:5). In ancient times when God's people encountered enemies who were more powerful, they didn't need to worry when they obeyed Him. David's small stature didn't matter at all when he went against Goliath in battle, because God was with him. Even when David made serious mistakes later in life, God didn't abandon him.
When Joseph was thrown into prison after his brothers sold him into slavery, God was with him even there. Joseph found favor with the warden and prospered after his release from prison, because of God's presence in his life (Genesis 39:21-23). Joshua was another example of how God promises to give us His presence permanently. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee(Joshua 1:5).

Creflo Dollar Designed for Relationships
Creflo_Dollar
Creflo Dollar
Did you know that God created mankind for the purpose of establishing relationships? Genesis 2:18 says that in the beginning, He created Adam, and decided it was not good for him to be alone. He created Eve, and said she was help that was “meet” for him, meaning she was someone suitable (or proper) for him. Why did Adam need help? He needed help to develop out of self-centeredness. With Eve in his life, God knew Adam would always be challenged to consider someone other than himself.
God established the institution of marriage between Adam and Eve for the purpose of eliminating their “aloneness.” We need companionship for reasons far greater than just satisfying a lonely heart. With Eve by his side, Adam was forced to fight his selfishness. By loving someone else, he would become a better man.
This does not apply only to married people. This applies to every relationship we will ever have as human beings, including our relationship with the Father Himself. Yes, He wants to have a relationship with us! We were designed for relationships. Relationships far exceed having fun times together with friends. God views relationships as covenants.
We all need to learn to establish covenant relationships. We need someone in our lives to help us develop. For example, single people need to establish covenant relationships to help them grow out of selfishness. All relationships are designed to help us mature in unconditional love—the God-kind of love.

Creflo Dollar God’s Blessings Are Permanent
Creflo Dollar
Creflo_Dollar
When we receive something we’ve earned through our own efforts, the world can attach strings to it. We may think we’ve succeeded when we’re finally able to afford the luxury car we’ve been wanting, the expensive resort home by the lake, or that big diamond ring for our wife. But cars can be repossessed, homes can go into foreclosure, and if we hit hard times financially, we may have to sell the ring. Trusting in the world’s co-called “blessings” can be unsettling, but God’s blessings can’t be reversed.
Seeking stability in the stock market, a big bank account, or financial investments can seem like a good idea at the time, but it can all shift and disappear in the blink of an eye. God loves us and wants us to benefit from the true wealth resulting from His eternal blessings, if only we accept them. Being born again and accepting His grace is a step in the right direction. When we believe in the blood sacrifice Jesus made for us, we become righteous and holy in God’s eyes.
In the Old Testament, the children of Israel were told to burn regular sacrifices on the altar to atone for their sins, but the Scriptures foreshadowed Jesus’ perfect sacrifice thousands of years later. “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.…But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.…For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified (Hebrews 10: 1-3, 12, 14).
The message here is that God never counts our sins against us or cuts us off from Him. Things aren’t always what they appear to be to the human eye, but sometimes we make the mistake of doubting God’s love when our sins block His abundant blessings for us. There’s no power in the universe that can take away the blessings of grace, abundant life, victory, peace, prosperity, joy, and happiness that God has already set aside for us. Jesus’ blood washed away our iniquities thousands of years ago, and God now sees us through the blood of His Son.

Creflo Dollar Finding the Freedom from Financial Lack
Creflo_Dollar
Some of us may be struggling with financial lack, which makes it difficult to stretch our money far enough each month to pay all the bills. It’s stressful and discouraging having to juggle which bills get paid first and which ones can wait a few days. Having enough money to live comfortably can seem to be an elusive dream. But God’s will for our lives means abundance in all areas, including our finances.
If you’re like many in the world, the holiday shopping wrecked your budget and maxed out your credit cards. You may find yourself wondering how you’ll make it to January, how to pay for your purchases, and how to keep from getting the lights and the gas shut off. Don’t be deceived—God doesn’t want us to struggle every month just to make ends meet. We’re His children, and He wants to bless us, and our checkbook, abundantly.
God knows we need money, and He doesn’t want to see us broke and penniless. But our earthly desires can betray us, and it’s easy to seek money over everything else. The Bible tells us not to get our priorities backward, and when we seek Him first, everything else will fall into place. “For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:32, 33, NIV).
We need to visualize by faith that we already have it and act like we’ve already received it, and God will keep His promise. He’ll bless us financially, but we need to keep our part of the bargain, which means handling money responsibly, by paying the bills, balancing the checkbook, establishing a household budget, not relying too heavily on credit, and giving generously.
A spirit of generosity has no relation to our bank account. The Bible story that teaches us to trust God and give out of faith uses the example of a woman who put all she had into the offering plate in the temple, despite the wealthier people making much larger donations. When Jesus saw this, He made note of it. “Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on’” (Mark 12:43, 44, NIV).

God’s Formula for Success
creflo dollar
Living in the kingdom of God has tremendous benefits. As Believers, we must make it a priority to do things God’s way so we can access what He has made available to us through His Word. There is a formula for success in the kingdom of God, and if we follow it, we will get consistent results. This requires a renewing of our minds and a willingness to do things differently. God’s method of operation is completely different from the world’s way. It requires faith, diligence, and consistency in executing certain spiritual principles. By following His plan, we can see manifestation in our lives, not some of the time, but all the time.
The first step to manifestation in the kingdom of God is to speak God’s Word. Many times, a person’s heart is full of faith but that faith never gets released into the atmosphere because he or she doesn’t actually say what God has said! Speaking the Word of God is critical to getting results in the kingdom.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and if you’re not saying anything, you’re not creating anything. Keeping the Word in our mouths at all times is vital because of the creative power of words. Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering.” Our “profession” is our confession, or what we profess from the Word of God. We should make this a continual practice as the apostle Paul instructs. Continually speaking God’s Word through regular confessions also repels the enemy. Satan cannot stand against a Believer who has a revelation of the power of speaking the scriptures.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says, “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” We can see from the scripture that “talking” the Word should be done on an ongoing basis.
The second step in God’s formula for success is to meditate on God’s Word. Meditation is simply pondering, considering, and muttering the Word of God. When we meditate on God’s Word, it expands our capacity for faith and transforms our ability to believe and receive. By meditating on the Word we fix our minds and set our hearts on the desired result we are seeking.
Psalm 1:1-3 says that the man who is empowered to prosper is the one who meditates on the Word day and night. This is the same approach we should take while spending time seriously pondering the scriptures. We can meditate the Word by applying it practically to our lives, putting ourselves in agreement with it, speaking it, and realizing its integrity. Meditating on the Word makes our way prosperous (Joshua 1:8).
The third step in God’s formula for success is to act on the Word of God. Faith without works is dead, which means it is not enough to simply hear the Word and believe it, but we must also act on it in order to get to our destination. Faith is a practical expression of our confidence in God and His Word. Many times, Christians get preoccupied with the spiritual side of things and neglect to do anything practical in the natural realm. When God speaks a Word, whether through the written scriptures or a rhema Word spoken to the heart, it requires some type of corresponding action on our part.
God’s formula for success is fail-proof. Speaking the Word releases faith, meditating on it builds the image of it on the inside of you, and stepping out on what the Word says connects you to the promised manifestation. The result is success and absolute victory in every area of your life!

Creflo Dollar Feeling God’s Presence in Your Life
Creflo Dollar
Creflo Dollar
If you’ve ever been in the presence of famous or influential people, you probably felt different than you normally do. There’s something different about them that you can’t quite put your finger on, but if you’re around them long enough, something from them rubs off on you. It seems like they emanate some sort of power, and when you leave their presence you take a little bit of them with you. Being in God’s presence is like that, only a thousand times better.
Everyday life brings us into contact with all kinds of people, and while some of them are a good influence on us, others can have a negative influence on the way we think and behave. Any time we spend a significant amount of time around other people, we can’t help but be affected by them. We tell our children about the importance of hanging out with the right kind of kids, knowing that peer pressure can either be positive or negative. Associating with some of the people we know, whose values are different than ours, can cause us to make wrong decisions or do something against our better judgment.
This kind of struggle can get pretty discouraging when we’re trying to do the right thing at work, at home, and in life. When we’re not sure what example to follow, God’s presence in our lives clears up all confusion. Inviting Him in changes our lives dramatically, and His presence transforms us permanently.
God is everywhere, and when we ask Him to come into our lives and make Himself known to us, He will. We probably won’t understand what He’s doing at first–it may not make sense to us–and that’s okay. The Bible says not to try and figure out with our own minds exactly what He’s doing. Proverbs 3:5, 6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Experiencing His presence brings about an electrifying experience that defies explanation. The impact He can have on our lives, if we let Him, is real. In the Old Testament, when Moses stood on the mountaintop in the presence of God, the experience changed him inside and out. The changes were so obvious that everyone else knew he was a different person when they looked upon him.
