Have I Got News For You!

Dear Readers,

Well, it’s been a long hot summer, but we are finally getting a break in the 100 degree temps. I’m grateful for the relief as my poor AC was struggling hard to keep the house cool. Between fighting the heat and biting my nails over my latest proposal, I’m finally ready to share the news…

It’s official!

I’ve accepted an offer from Harlequin for 6 more Amish books. Yes, the Burr Oak Texas series will continue, as will Humble Blessings. For those of you who have been waiting for the rest of the Schroder sister’s books, I am currently working on Rebecca’s and it’s scheduled for a late 2023/ early 2024 release. Amity and Florene will follow with their own stories, as well as a few others set in Burr Oak. The Humble Blessings books will include stores for Elam and Trisha.

So there you have it. More Amish books are on the way.  Many thanks to those of you who prayed and sent good thoughts my way for a favorable outcome on my proposal.

As for The Amish Bachelor’s Bride, I’ll soon have a cover to reveal…

Sorry to short, but back to the cave to write!

Sending love and light,

Pam

June 2022

Dear Readers,

Holy cow, are we already in the 6th month of 2022? Took a peek at the calendar and, yep!, the year is moving right along. June is an exciting month behind the scenes because Finding Her Amish Home is scheduled to release June 28th. However if you just can’t wait, I’ll let you in on a secret. You can buy the book direct from Harlequin and for a discount right now. That’s right! It is on sale early!!! Do head on over and snag your copy. I’m happy to say that the book is getting some great reviews.

So what else is up? I’m happy to say book #2 in the “Humble Blessings” series has a title now: The Amish Bachelor’s Bride. That book has been scheduled for a Feb 2023 release. So excited about this one, as it continues the story of the Mueller family introduced to readers in Finding Her Amish Home.

As for future books… I am waiting for a decision on the proposal package I turned over. This includes Burr Oak books 2-4, as well as another Humble Blessings title. I’ve also included a few stand alone ideas. My fingers are crossed good news will be coming soon.  In the meantime, I’ve re-designed my website. Hope you guys like the new look. Meanwhile, it’s back to working on new ideas for future books.

Wishing you all a restful summer season. Stay cool!

Pam

Sorry for the random postings!

Dear Readers,

Sorry for the random postings about makeup that hit your inbox. I installed a new WP theme and I did not know it did that automatically. I sincerely apologize and the theme has been deleted.  I was not hacked. It was all me.  I promise it won’t happen again. 🙁

May 2022

Dear Readers,

Hello and welcome to May! It’s been a busy time behind the scenes and I have lots of news to share.

First, we’re coming closer to the release of Finding Her Amish Home. This book,  the first in my ‘Humble Blessings’ series, will be out June 28th, 2002 and will introduce Abram Mueller and Maddie Baum. I’ve received my author copies and have been sending them out to reviewers as fast as I can. I’m delighted that the reviews have been positive so far. I can’t wait until the book released wide. If you can’t wait, you can buy it directly from the Harlequin website beginning June 1st, and for a discount! Be sure and grab your copy today.

I’m happy to report that I’ve also finished Healing the Amish Widow’s Heart. That book is now scheduled for February 2023. I am so excited to share Lavinia and Noem’s story. Lavinia, you will find out, is Abram Mueller’s younger sister. But there’s more! I’ve sketched out a 3rd Humble Blessings book! Yep, Courting the Amish Spinster will be younger brother Elam’s story.

But what about the Texas Amish Brides? I am working on Rebecca’s book now, and my editor is giving the proposal for her story due consideration. I hope to hear something soon. Gail, Levi, Amity and Florene will all be back, as Rebecca helps the new English doctor in town uncover his Amish roots. I’m loving the story and hope to share more details soon.

Oh, almost forgot to say that The Cowboy’s Amish Haven is being re-released in May 2023 in a 2 for 1 with author Cathy Liggett. I am so excited my book was chosen. I’ll be doing some giveaway of copies, so be sure and keep an eye out of how to enter to win.

Lastly, my website got a little overhaul. I’ve been fighting with Elementor and WordPress. The two gave me some trouble, causing the loss of several database entries. I think I’ve got it sorted out, though I wasn’t happy with the data loss. Nothing one can do except backup and move on, LOL.

As always, it’s but and I’m doing my best to keep up. Thanks for checking in this month. I look forward to sharing some exciting new with you all soon.

Take care and be well!

Pam

April 2022

Dear Readers,

Well, here we are. Already into April and spring is nigh. After a long, dark winter, I can honestly say I am ready for some warm sunshine. Just wish we weren’t so dry here. This part of Texas could really use some rain, so cross your fingers that April showers will be coming soon. We had such a dry winter and the winds have almost blown us away. It’s time for things to green up and grow!

So what’s been happening? I am happy to say that I finished Healing the Amish Widow’s Heart (title tentative) — this is the 2nd Humble Blessings Book — and sent it off to my editor at Harlequin. I am biting my fingernails, hoping she likes the book. This one was tough and fought me every step of the way, but I am happy with the way it turned out. My beta readers all gave thumbs up, so there’s hope that it won’t need much rewriting to get it into shape as it heads toward publication. Once this book is accepted, this will close out my active contracts. But no worries! I’ve already started outlining and writing on the second Texas Amish Brides book and Rebecca’s story is coming along nicely. I’ve also got stories for Amity and Florene. And there will be a 3rd Humble Blessings book, for youngest Mueller sibling, Elam. I’m also excited about the new Love Inspired Suspense title I am working on. I really, really want to try my hand at suspense and have a great idea that I’m working on now. So that’s 5 books in the pipeline! It’ll take time and a lot of work, but I’m getting there, so bear with me.

And, finally, I’ve just ordered new bookmarks, postcards and bookplates, so be sure and send for your free swag pack! All you have to do to claim yours is drop me a note and a packet will be sent out. 🙂

Take care and keep on reading!

Pam
