How do you avoid being alone?
Arrogance creates distance and discord; and in order to avoid finding yourself alone and vulnerable is insight from Ecclesiastes. He says that even "though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. [For] a cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (4:12). So, instead, might you consider letting go of any ego and develop relationships that will protect and defend you. #LetGoOfTheMe & #BecomeTheWe

How do you treat strangers?
At one time or another, most have experienced being the outsider, the newcomer, the stranger. Also being "foreigners in Egypt" (Leviticus 19:34) were the Israelites. Despite whatever you did or did not experience, you, just like the Israelites, are still instructed to "show hospitality to strangers" (Hebrews 13:2) and "love them as yourself" (19:34). Might you never meet a stranger again. #Welcome & #Include

What clothes are you willing to wear?
There are days when a change of clothing is necessary. This clothing change comes in the form of "compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Colossians 3:12), because there are those who do not have enough clothing to equip themselves to get through the challenges that they are facing. So, might you consider changing in to something different, along with adding this to your every day wardrobe, by taking off the "old self" and "[putting] on the new self" (3:9-10), so you can be well dressed in order to help clothe those in need of more clothing. #EveryDayFashion

What doors need opened?
Doors are closed all of the time; and in order to open them, there is a gatekeeper. This gatekeeper opens what no one can shut and shuts what no one can open (see Revelations 3:7); and He only opens them to those who keep His word and do not deny His name (see 3:8). So, if you need a door opened, you know who has the keys; for He is "the door" (John 10:9). #TheHolyDoor

What are your prayer expectations?
Every prayer is heard; but the response time may not come when you want it to. David also struggled with the Lord answering his prayers, as he prayed "How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?" (Psalm 13:1). But, David knew that the Lord would answer him, because he trusted in His "unfailing love“ (13:5). So, just because He does not answer right away doesn't mean that you are forgotten. For He makes "everything beautiful in its time" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). #Persistent & #PatientPrayer

What pushes you to pray?
Challenging people and unhealthy environments will push you and possibly to a place that may put you in harms way. Instead of getting yourself caught and backed in to a corner or being forced to do something that makes you uncomfortable and vulnerable, might you consider taking Paul's advice as he reminds you to "pray continually...[and] give thanks in all circumstances" (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18), because no matter the circumstance, prayer will always sustain and give you the tools, such as "love" and "temperance" (Galatians 5:16), that you need to "live in peace with each other" (5:13). #LetPrayerDoTheTalking & #RejoiceAlways

What keeps you grounded, rooted and settled?
When your world around you shakes and rattles, there is no need to panic. For if you know the Lord, you know that He "[has] been [your] dwelling place throughout all generations" (Psalm 90:1) and does not change in the wake of any disruption, as He is "everlasting" (90:2). So, instead of reacting to disruption, might you place your trust in someone who will always keep you safe and secure in His hands. #RestAssured

How much control do you have?
No matter your age or experience, you are never in control. When you think that you are, you become quickly reminded that you are not. For in the blink of an eye things can change, leaving you helpless, frustrated and confused. But, it is in these painful moments that you find out how truly strong you are. For when you know Him, you that "his power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). So, no matter your years and wisdom, might you always remember who is in control and will give you the strength that you need to handle whatever comes your way. #KnowingYourLimitations

How far will you go?
"[Laying] down one's life for one's friends" (John 15:13) is one of the greatest and rarest kinds of love that exist; and knowing this better than anyone is the Lord himself. For He sacrificed His only son for each and everyone one of us. So, as you consider the lengths that you will go to for another, might you find that you have more to give, as there is no "greater love...than this" (15:13). #SacrificialLove #AHeartOfAServant

A lack of humility stifles and ruins potential and futures, as humility creates and builds relationships and successes. So, as you consider and contemplate the differences, may you be the one who “[makes themselves] nothing by taking the very nature of a servant” (Philippians 2:7), just like He did, and receive the "riches and honor and life" (Proverbs 22:4) that humility has to offer. #Honoring & #PraisingHim
