What frightens you?

Jealousy, hate and hurt, among other things, create much uneasiness and tension. "Very much afraid of Achish king of Gath" (1 Samuel 21:12) was David. But, as uneasy as David was, he "put [his] trust in [God]...For "in God [he trusted] and [was] not afraid" (Psalm 56:3-4). So, when fear begins to arise, might you consider putting your trust in Him (see Psalm 56:3). #RemoveTheFightAndFlight & #FearNoMore

How do you prioritize prayer?

Prayer, like annual check-ups, home maintenance, or work relationships, is essential; but when you make it a priority, you truly the see the unbelievable and incredible power that it has when you do. Learning the importance and priority of prayer, through illness, was king Hezekiah, as he "turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD" (2 Kings 20:2). In doing so, and immediately, the Lord "heard [his] prayer and [saw his] tears [and healed him]" (20:5). So, as you contemplate what is priority in your life, might you consider prayer being one of them. #KeepYourPrioritiesInOrder

How committed are you?

Doing the hard work every day, keeping promises, and remaining authentic is commitment; and completely committed is a man who has created a "very good" (Genesis 1:31) world and sacrificed "his one and only Son" (John 3:16) so that you and I "may have eternal life in him" (3:15). So, as you ponder your commitments, might they, too, be ones that are unwavering, truthful and real. #AllInOrOut

What has a grip on you?

Much can control you, if you let it. But, if you want to free yourself from the dominance, might you seek someone who has "all authority in heaven and on earth" (Matthew 28:18) to help you to break free from whatever is holding you back or beating you down. For He promises to be "with you always, to the very end of the age" (28:20). #SetYourselfFree

What do you do with the love that you have been given?

"We love because he first loved us" (1 John 4:19); and when we embrace this love, we are able to grow in it and share it with others (see 4:15-20). So, if you want to experience love, you "must also love [your] brother and sister" (4:21). #AbideInLove #AbideInHim & #LoveAlways

How do you protect yourself?

Praise and prayer are two of the most powerful weapons that you can own and use "on all occasions" (Ephesians 6:18), as they will shield and protect you while fight your battles. Using these weapons to fight their battles and win were Moses, Noah, Job, Jeremiah, Esther, King David, Abraham, Samuel, and Deborah. So, if you are in need of protection, might you consider such weapons, as they are highly effective and will keep you "alert" and "always" (6:18) prayerful and safe. #DailyProtection

How do you handle uncertainties?

Life is full of uncertainty; but even in the unpredictable, you can rest assure that if you believe, "He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11), just like He did for the Israelites (see Exodus 23:14-26). So, whatever the uncertainty, might you let Him send an angel to "guard you along the way" (23:20). #MinisteringSpirits (Hebrews 1:14)

What is impeding your growth?

Weeds and thorns have a way of stunting growth; and if you are not careful, they will choke out every good seed in your life, such as "love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23). So, when your garden begins to get out of control, might you consider seeking Him to help you keep your garden healthy and beautiful. #RoutineMaintenance

What kind of teammate are you?

Even if you do not like each other or see eye to eye, you can still work together, be successful, and get things accomplished. Working together to support Paul were multiple Philippians, with a few who did not get along, but still worked together to house him (see Acts 16:13-15), help him spread the good news (see Philippians 4:2-3), pray for him (see 1:19), and sent items to him, while in prison (see 4:14-18). So, whatever team that you are on, might you choose to be the best teammate that you can possibly be regardless of your differences. #WeNotMe

How do you view (your) age?

Age is only a number, not a definer or determiner. At eighty-five, and not afraid (see Hebrews 13:6), Caleb was still fighting for Israel, because of God's promise and help. He remarked that he was "still as strong [now] as the day Moses sent [him] out; [and] just as vigorous to go out to battle now as [he] was then" (Joshua 14:11). So, if you allow your age to get in the way, might you remember Caleb and what he was able to accomplish with the Lord as his helper (see Hebrews 13:6). #DoNotBeAfraid #ItsOnlyANumber
